"What did you do after you got to know that your mother was sick ?"
Taehyung sighed deeply.
"I didn't waste a second after I got a hold of myself and calmed down."
"I packed my bags and ran to the International Airport, looked for a flight back."
"Thankfully not all the seats were booked. So I was able to get myself a ticket. "
"I waited for the plane to arrive for more than 6 hours. "
"All while I tried to not break down again."
"It was a really--really scary feeling." His voice cracked in between.
"I was in hurry. I didn't inform any of my friends in England."
"At the moment,it was the least of my worries."
"But now that I think about it, I really regret not telling them. Atleast, I could have texted them."
"I just disappeared from their lives suddenly."
"Did you try to contact them later ?" Asked Dr. Sean.
Taehyung shook his head.
"No, a lot of things were going on in my life. I actually forgot about England."
"Didn't they try to contact you ?"
"I don't know. I changed my number."He shrugged.
Dr. Sean nodded.
"I didn't sleep a wink on the flight."He continued, not wishing to talk on the topic of his friends.
"My mom was such a beautiful and amazing woman."
"She-she was my best friend. We were so close."
"The pain I felt when I heard about her sickness was terrifying."
Taehyung sniffled again but refused to cry.
"After I got back. We hugged each other and cried. I refused to let her out of my arms."
"I still remember how crushed--Dad--looked."
"It was heart breaking."
"But my mom was a strong. She didn't let her illness faze her."
"She still gave a happy and positive vibe like before."
"I was by her side every single day. I didn't leave her."
"She laughed and had a vibrant smile on her face always."
"I admire her so much."
"One day--one day we tried to bake together. But I lack in the kitchen skills. My mom was the same. So it ended up with a disaster. But--but that moment was filled with so much laughter and contentment." He said and chuckled reminiscing the past.
"She lived each day with joy and love."
"It's not easy to get up daily and smile and give others the strength to do the same."
"We were supposed to give her the strength. But she took upon our roles."
"She sounds like a wonderful woman." Commented the Doctor.
Taehyung smiled.
"She was."
"She was a wonderful woman."
"Her treatment started. And I witnessed everything."
"The shine from her face disappeared. She started looking more aged. Her skin was so pale."
"Still she never stopped smiling. Never complained."
"Endured the pain-pain."
A tear fell from his dark orbs. His throat felt constricted.

"She never cried and let us see her vulnerable side."
"But one day---"

"Please make sure to clean the first floor and arrange every room neatly. "
"Change all the old bed sheets and use the ones that have been brought from Greece. "
"There should be fresh flowers in the vases. "
"And ask Hoseok for more instructions. Thankyou." Said Jin to the servant and watched the other nod, walking away.
His feet hurt from standing all day. But finally his work was done, now.
He could take some rest.
Jin sat down on the couch in the living room and leaned back.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
Jin walked in their shared room, still clad in the stiff suit from yesterday.
He was really thankful for the help from Yoongi and Jungkook.
Both of them, lessened his work a lot.
His body ached but still he can't afford to sleep.
He needed to freshen up and get ready for the day.
Just as he entered the room, he saw Namjoon, who was standing in front of the dresser fixing his suit. He also had dark circles under his eyes.
When his husband saw him. He rushed to Jin with a worried frown on his face.
"Are you okay ? You didn't came back to sleep ?" Asked Namjoon in a concerned voice.
Jin was tired and disappointed. He ignored other and shrugged others hand away from his shoulder.
The elder moved to the closet.
Namjoon followed him behind with a worried look.
"Hyung."He called in a soft voice.
Jin didn't say a word as he shuffled some clothes.
"I'm sorry. "
The elder stopped for a moment and gave him a look before continuing again.
"I wanted to be with you and support you, hyung."
"But if I had said something at that time. It would have just infuriated mother and father more, nothing else."
"They would have started to be more strict with you. And I don't want that."
"You know, they are not going easy on you."
"I just don't want them to be more mad."
"Please forgive me."
"How can you know that they would get more angry ?" Jin turned to look at the younger.
Namjoon sighed and walked to him.
"I am their son, hyung. I know them."
"Please forgive me. I am sorry." He looked at the elder with pleading eyes.
Jin's heart softened.
"I don't care."He muttered.
"I don't care. If they would have gotten mad,let them. I can handle it."
"But you didn't do anything. And that made me feel alone,Namjoon."
"I freaking felt alone. We are married, in love."
"I'm not supposed to feel alone when you're with me." Said Jin with teary eyes.
"I am with you,hyung. I am."
"I'm sorry you felt alone." He replied and pulled the other in a hug.
Jin tried to protest but the arm around his waist didn't let him.
"I'm sorry."
"I'm so sorry."
"Forgive me ?" Asked Namjoon in a quietened tone.

And the elder nodded, hugging him back.

"We'll be there in two days. Make all the preparations according to it." A sharp voice was heard from the other side of the phone.
"Yes,mother."
"I know, we said we'll there by the end of this week. But I'm worried about the wedding anniversary party preparations."
"I don't know if they'll manage to plan it properly or not."
"So,we decided to get there earlier. I'll keep an eye on everything and can plan it according to me."
"Yes,mother."Said Namjoon.
"Many famous and influential people are going to attend the party. We have to do our best."
"I know, mother."
The call ended soon and Namjoon stared at the tree from the outside window as he sat in his personal study.

Jin opened his eyes when he heard a sound of throat being cleared.
He corrected his posture and folded his hands to his chest with one leg crossed over another.
"Yes."He said.
Namjoon stood in front of him with his hands in the pocket of his black trousers in a non-chalant manner.
"Father and Mother will be here in two days. A few days earlier than they planned."
Jin nodded.
"I know, I got the text."
"Everything will be arranged by than." Said the elder.
"Jin." Muttered Namjoon.
"Yes."
"They'll be here soon and if they got to know that we are not living in the same room--"
The younger sighed.
"You know---the drama that will happen. And I'm sure you don't want it and neither do I."
"So move back in the room."
The elder didn't say anything. He stared at him with the stern eyes.
Namjoon closed his eyes for a second and took a breath.
"Please."
It was quiet for a minute after that.
But soon Jin looked down at the carpeted floor with a tired expression.
"Okay. I'll move back." He mumbled.
"Thankyou." Said the younger, pleased with the answer and walked away.

"What are you doing here, Ji-hye ? I told you to rest. "Said the man as he walked towards the woman in her early fifties , wearing a simple dress below the knees, in light blue colour with white flowers printed on it.
It was a windy day and her dark long locks swayed with the air.
Her age didn't affect the her beauty as she looked as graceful and bewitching as ever.
The rays of sun that touched her skin just made her more gorgeous.
Her face pale from the illness but still she made it work.
Her husband admired her from afar.
She sat on a bench and stared at her beautiful garden. The one in which she grew delicate flowers herself and took care of them.
"I couldn't sleep." Replied Ji-hye in a soft voice when her husband sat down on the bench with her.
"What's troubling you ? You can't hide anything from me. I easily see through your facade."
Ji-hye chuckled and looked at him for a moment before going back to staring at a flower.
She stayed quiet and didn't utter any word for ten minutes.
Jihyuk let her be. He didn't want to force her. She would tell him when she thought it was the right time.
I'm scared. She said suddenly in an inaudible voice. But he heard it.
"Ji-hye." He called in a a helpless tone.
She turned to him and her eyes were filled with tears.
"I'm scared, Jihyuk. I'm scared."
"There's no certainty of my future. I'm scared."
"Scared that I'll miss all our family moments in future."
"Scared that I won't be there for our Tae when he would need me."
"Our son,Ji-hyuk. "He still so young.
"You know--- "she sobbed.
"I used to dream of watching our Tae get married. Him finding his right one."
"The one that will love and adore him."
"And how he'll have his own kids later. "
"How-how they'll call me grandma. How I would spoil them."
"Hold their tiny cute little hands and how I would tell them all about our baby Tae when he was young. "
"I want to witness him grow. I want to see everything. "
"But--"
"There are no surities now."
By than Jihyuk was also crying. He stretched his hands forward and took his wife his arm
"I'm scared. "She cried.
"I'm so sacred,Jihyuk."
"I'm sorry. I can't do anything." He replied, sniffling as his tears didn't stop.
"I'm so sorry."
"I feel like I let you and Taehyung down."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't apologise,it's no one's fault." She whimpered.
"You never let us down."
And Jihyuk smiled wiping his tears.
"I am supposed to console you, not you console me." He said and they let out a tearful laugh.
"Don't worry, nothing will happen. We will get through it like we always do." He said and rubbed her back to calm her down.
★★★★★★★★
"So you heard them ? "Asked Dr. Sean.
"I did."
"You got married,to make her happy. You didn't want it , do you ? "
"At that time I didn't know what I wanted actually. I thought I could atleast make her one dream come true. I didn't care to think about it more than once."
"But--"
"But ?"
"She was one smart woman. She realised what I was doing."
"She did ? "Asked the doctor a little shocked.
"Yeah she did and even confronted me about it."
"I was speechless."
"She chuckled at my startled expression. And told me how much she knows me." Said Taehyung with a sad smile.
"Scolded me about how much I should think about actions like this."
"I shouldn't hurry. "
"I was stubborn,though. "
"I did apologise to my mother for my rather fast decision."
"Time passed and than I thought about it for six months. Mom and Dad figured that I let it go."
"I considered every situation. And asked myself if I was ready for the commitment."
"At first I didn't know. I was clueless. But than I thought about the bond between my parents. "
"How they are always there for each other. "
"They give the other all the strength, comfort and love."
"And I thought If a marriage can be like that, than maybe--just maybe I was ready."
