[ The night of the party ]

"Taehyung. "

The younger hummed and turned his head to look at Jungkook as they laid in the snow.

"What will make you happy ? "

The younger smiled and thought for a minute.

"Seeing Jimin hyung and Jin hyung happy, will make me happy. "

"What they have went through is worse than me."

"They also deserve a chance at happiness."

"You know it, too."

"I want to see Jimin hyung laugh and smile. I want to see the playful--supporting, Jin hyung."

"I heard how he was like when he first came in the mansion from Hoseok hyung."

"I want that, too." Said Jungkook softly.

Taehyung stared at him confused.

"After I realised my mistake, I started to observe things around me. "

"I also noticed their pain with you. "

"I am not good with theses things. But I really do wanna see them happy. "

"So I have decided that I will do something for them as a younger brother."

Taehyung smiled.

"That's really great, Jungkook. And I am also here to help you. "

The elder could only smile at the other in adoration as Taehyung started making snow angels after some time.

"Mail me all the details of our recent investments in an hour. " Said Yoongi on the phone as he wandered in his big room.

"Yes sir."

"Also, make the work time of all the employees till 2 , today. Christmas is near, they all deserve a break. "

"Okay."

"If something important happens call me immediately."

He heard a knock and turned around to see Jungkook standing near the door.

Yoongi gave younger a nod as a sign to come in.

"I am not at office, so I need the summary of today's meeting at my desk next morning."

"Yes sir."

After giving a few more instructions the elder finally ended the call.

"What do you want, Jungkook ?" He asked and moved to sit down on the couch.

"Can you please review this file for me ? Namjoon hyung was supposed to do that but I can't find him anywhere. And I have to finalise it, today. "

Yoongi saw the file in his hand and nodded.

"Sure, place it in my work room. I'll take a look at it." He replied and took the cup of coffee from the table in front of him.

"Okay. "

Jungkook was about to turn around and walk away. But he stopped.

"Hyung."He called and the elder hummed.

"I know I am crossing a line by saying this. But I think someone should say it. "

Yoongi raised his right eyebrow in question but didn't say anything.

"Jimin hyung is going through a very difficult time. I can't explain the whole situation. But he needs someone to be with him. And I think as his husband, it's your duty to be that someone. "

"What ? "

"I know you and Jimin hyung doesn't really have a good relationship but you should be there for him."

"He doesn't need me, Jungkook. I am the last person he would want to be with." Yoongi scoffed.

The younger sighed.

"Hyung, even if he doesn't show it. He needs someone."

"Why would he need me in the first place , he got his Victor." Said the elder bitterly.

Jungkook bit his lips and contemplated on how he should say the correct words.

"I am not sure if you have noticed it or not but we Jeons got a really big ego. "

"Namjoon hyung , you-- me." He said and chuckled.

"Our ego gets hurt easily and we do anything to protect it. "

"Where are you going with this ?" Questioned the elder.

You really want me to say it ?

"Yes." Said Yoongi.

"After your wedding, Jimin hyung went to Victor and disregarded you. He didn't accept you and the relationship."

"I know you didn't want the wedding either. But you wanted to give it a try. And Jimin hyung refused. "

"And that refusal damaged your ego. So to protect it, you went to Miss. Lily. "

"You are not even interested in her and I know it. You are just with her because you want Jimin hyung to feel the same like you did. "

"And I apologise for my language but it's so stupid. "

Yoongi's hands formed a fist as he tried to control his anger.

And what was worst ?

He knew his brother was right.

"We don't know what Jimin hyung went through in past. You didn't try to find out and he also didn't say anything. He refused and did something wrong."

"But you could have stopped him from doing the wrong again. And you didn't, he did wrong, you also gave up and ignored him."

"Our ego makes us do a lot of things. We shouldn't let it get to us. "

"Hyung, I only want the best for you and Jimin hyung. It's not my place to say this but the way you both are living is hurting you both. "

"Give up this childishness and try again, maybe he'll let you in this time."

Yoongi stood up and walked in front of the younger.

"But I don't want him to let me in. He had a chance in past but not now. "

Jungkook tried his best to not scowl.

"Did you even give him a chance in the past ?" Asked Jungkook.

"Ofcourse, I did."

The younger took a deep breath.

"Remember the deal we did with the Choi's. "

"Yeah , I was the incharge of it. "

"So when you first proposed your idea in front of them, what did they do ?"

Yoongi sighed.

"Why are you asking me this ? It doesn't make sense."

"It does, just answer the question."

"They rejected it. "

"Yes , and than what did you do ? "

"I tried to persuade them again." Sighed Yoongi.

"Than what happened ? "

"They refused. "

"And you didn't stop persuading them till they agreed, right ? "

"Yes, I didn't stop and in the last, they finally accepted our proposal."

"So why , hyung ? "

"What ?"

"Why did you give up so soon on Jimin hyung ? "

"You stopped after a few tries and never looked back."

"Jimin hyung was also forced in this marriage, like you. I get it that you were not in your best state,too. But maybe-maybe--"

"He felt as equally as bad you did or even more. Everyone has different ways of handing a situation. "

"And Jimin hyung handled it by drowning himself in alcohol and making bad choices."

"You could have stopped it all, but your ego didn't allow you."

"Your tried to protect your ego and did same as him, ruining the situation altogether."

"Maybe your actions made him drown in alcohol more. "

"I don't know and you don't know either." The younger shrugged.

"It's not late, though. You can correct your mistake and Jimin hyung, too."

"Jungkook." said Yoongi. His voice strained.

"You both can't stay like this all your life. You have to take an action and now, because Jimin hyung doesn't have the strength to do so. But you have. "

"Please, hyung. "

Yoongi's face was expressionless as he stared at his younger brother.

"I am sorry, hyung. If something I said hurt you. "

"But I know you're not like how you show everyone, even if you hide it you care about Jin hyung , Taehyung , me and Namjoon hyung. "

"Do care for Jimin hyung ,too. Put your ego aside. "

Jungkook stepped back and bowed.

"I'm sorry, if I annoyed,offended or hurt you in any way. It wasn't my intention. I just want the best for my brother and brother in law."

With that younger left the elder alone with his thoughts.

"Clean all the rooms of ground floor. And make sure there are fresh flowers in every vase. I don't want to see anyone lacking on their jobs." Said Hoseok sternly as he instructed other servant.

The other nodded and bowed to him, walking away.

He walked around the hallway , his hands behind his back, straight posture.

Just than he heard his phone ring and he stopped.

He pulled out his phone from the pocket and saw the caller ID.

Without any hesitation, he answered the call.

"Hello."

"Third floor, bar." Were the only words he heard before the call was over.

Hoseok sighed but still made his way to the third floor.

He knocked on the door of the bar and entered the room.

"You called , master Yoongi ? "

The other was busy pouring another drink in his glass.

"Cut it out , Hoseok. No one is here. "

The Butler's was concerned as he slowly moved and sat down on the counter stool right beside the elder.

"What happened, hyung ? "He asked.

Yoongi didn't say anything but passed him his glass.

"I'm on duty." Hoseok protested.

"No one cares, drink it. And you also have a high tolerance for alcohol. So it really doesn't matter. "

"Alright . "

Hoseok took the sip of the drink and was greeted by a sweet yet strong taste.

It was good.

Yoongi finished his glass quickly and poured another.

The other watched him silently.

"So, are you going to tell me what's bothering you ? "

Yoongi grunted annoyed.

"Jungkook."

"What about, Jungkook ?" Hoseok frowned.

"He said something and it's stuck in my mind, now. "

"All I can think about it is that. "

"What did he say ? "

Yoongi grumbled some sentences under his breath.

And Hoseok managed to understand only few words.

"Ego, Jimin ,Try again."

"I don't know what Jungkook said. But I figure he's right. That's why you're here drinking in the middle of the day. "

Yoongi didn't reply and drank his fourth glass.

Hoseok smiled as he got the answer.

"Why don't you do what Jungkook asked for ? "

Yoongi scoffed.

"It's not easy for me."

"Hyung, nothing is easy. Everything has their own obstacles try it, don't just give up. "

Hoseok finished his first glass and turned to look at the elder.

"Don't stress about whatever situation you're having. Take your time and think about it. "

"You'll find a way to solve it. "Advised Hoseok.

"Don't take any sudden decisions. "

Yoongi nodded,his cheeks red from all the alcohol.

Hoseok took the bottle away when he attempted to pour another drink.

"I think that's enough for you,hyung. Why don't you take some rest, now." Said the butler and helped the other stand up.

Yoongi didn't protest. He walked to his room with the other.

After dropping Yoongi , the younger walked out of other's room.

"I hope you find the right way, hyung. "

Jungkook stared at his phone which was on the desk.

He was a little nervous. He never talked to Yoongi like that.

He knows that he did the right thing.

It was only for the good of Yoongi and Jimin.

He didn't see the elder after their talk.

Namjoon was also not in the mansion.

Jin stayed in the guest room all day.

The atmosphere around him was sad.

Jungkook tried to focus on the work but he failed.

He closed his eyes and leaned back on the desk.

Just than his phone rang.

He got up and stretched his hand to take the phone.

He smiled when he saw the caller and quickly answered the call.

"Hey, Taehyung. "He greeted.

"Hey, Jungkook." Said the other shyly.

"I didn't disturb you, right ? "

"No, you didn't. Don't worry." He chuckled.

"Actually I called you to ask if we are holding a Christmas party this year ? "

"I mean if we are, Jimin hyung and I need to come back." Said the younger.

Jungkook grinned.

He could imagine Taehyung saying this with a pout.

"No, we are not. "

"Mother and Father are coming here for their wedding anniversary and they are going to hold a party already. So we decided not to." He explained.

"Oh ."

"Yes , you can stay with your dad till New Year. "

"That's great. "Taehyung smiled

"Yeah. "

"Taehyung."

"Yes. "

"Tell me when you decide to come back. I'll bring you and Jimin hyung here."

"Oh okay. "

"What did you do all day, by the way ?" Asked the elder as he leaned back on the chair but this time with a smile on his face.

"Me and Jimin hyung went to the mall for Christmas shopping. "

"It was fun and we had a really great time."

Jungkook sighed as a soft smile stayed on his face and heard the younger talk about his day.
