He was already broken too.
Jimin Hyung was already broken.
These were the only words that repeated in Taehyung's mind all-night.
Now he stood in front of the mirror. Looking at himself. His face was glowing.
He was looking beautiful. But something was missing.
And anyone could see the tears that gathered in his eyes as soon as he thought about Jimin.
No Taehyung you can't cry now. You're going to fix Jimin Hyung okay?
Yes-----------yes okay------------------I 'll fix hyung. I am going to be brave.
With these thoughts in mind Taehyung wiped the tears in his eyes.
Jimin's past pained him a lot. He can't imagine the pain the latter went through but one thing is for sure. He is not going to give up just like he did in the past. He will be strong.
Taehyung looked at himself in the mirror one last time to make sure that his make up didn't get smeared.
Afterall he gotta look perfect all the time. Jeons really doesn't accept mediocre appearances.
I really changed after the wedding huh?
•••••••••••••••••••••
Taehyung stood in the of the doorway of the bathroom and saw Jungkook talking on the phone.
Jungkook was trying to tie the knot of the tie while he gave some instructions to the one on the other side of the phone.
His phone was in between his ear and shoulder. Attempting to tie the tie around his neck successfully with his both hands. He was clearly struggling.
Taehyung was contemplating whether he should help him or not.
But in the end he decided against it. He doesn't want to piss Jungkook early in the morning
So he sighed and decided to step out of the room quietly. But seemingly things didn't go as he planned. Because just as he was about to walk out of the room. Jungkook cleared his throat loudly to get his attention.
Taehyung turned around to look at Jungkook questioningly.
He was still on the phone. Tie loosely hanging on his neck. His eyes were piercing Taehyung.
He didn't say anything to Taehyung just gestured towards his tie.
Taehyung immediately understood what latter was saying and silently nodded look walking towards him.
Taehyung now stood in front of latter but was hesitant for reaching up for the tie. But a small nod from Jungkook assured him that it's okay.
Soon his hands touched the soft fabric of tie. Taehyung tried to ignore the closeness between them.
It was his first time to be this close with Jungkook. He didn't know what to feel or what he was feeling.
Jungkook appeared unaffected because of the distance between them. He was talking on the phone nonchalantly.
But just as then Taehyung did a mistake
of looking up. He could clearly see each and every detail of Jungkook's face. His sharp jaw line and the doe eyes.
Taehyung's breath hitched as he absorbed every feature of his husband's face. Jeon Jungkook is a handsome man and he knows it.
Jungkook was looking on his side as he continued to talk.
Taehyung realised that he could look at Jungkook all day long and he would never get tired of it.

But he also knew that if he didn't hurry. Jungkook will get annoyed.
So he quickly focused on the tie again.
Only Jungkook's voice could be heard as he talked to the one on the phone.
Taehyung stepped back as he finished fixing up the tie for the latter. And the other finally turned his head to look at him.
Jungkook took a last glance of himself in the big dresser and walked out of the room but not before he picked up his office bag which was placed on the couch.
All while Taehyung's eyes followed him dumbfounded.
When Jungkook was out of the room. Taehyung sighed loudly.
"A thank you would have been nice." he muttered under his breath.
•••••••••••••••••••••
After the tormenting breakfast which was always unbearable for Taehyung.
Namjoon, Yoongi and Jungkook went to work while Jin informed Taehyung and Jimin that there will be some guests.
Jin was swiftly moving here and there to make sure that there living room more than presentable to the others.
Taehyung was also assisting him. Their job finished soon with some time to spare.
Jin stood to take a breath as he roamed his eyes around the room to make sure everything is perfect.
But his gaze stopped moving when he looked at the younger with a frown.
"Taehyung why are your hands empty?" Jin questioned.
As Taehyung realised he's not wearing any rings or bracelets. Just his wedding ring on his ring finger.
Taehyung was about to say anything but stopped when the older spoke again.
"Go wear something in your hand. You know the one that will come soon will judge you on your appearance. Rich and business minded people will always-------------------I mean always judge you on your appearance. Don't forget that. No matter how they seem to you. They notice even the smallest of detail" Said Jin.
Taehyung decided to not say anything and nodded as he walked upto his room silently.
••••••••••••••••••
Taehyung picked up his rings from the dresser. Each of them being expensive.
He also decided put on an expensive bracelet to not disappoint his hyung.
Taehyung looked at himself in the dresser again. As a thought ran in his mind.
Why does outer apperance matter a lot? People say that they care about inner beauty more but we all know in someway or other they care about outer apperance much more.
People with money wear expensive things just to show their wealth. It's like they are showing how much power they hold. How much money they have.
If it was upto Taehyung he would immediately get out these suffocating suits and wear baggy clothes all the time with sandals rather than the expensive black shoes.
The younger shook his thoughts. He's needed to go down soon as the guests are going to arrive soon.
But just as he was about to go in the living room of the big mansion something caught his eyes which made him frown.
A file on the couch. The exact file Jungkook was working on last night and because of which the latter also yelled at him.
He's sure that Jungkook needs the file for the meeting today.
Taehyung walked upto the couch and picked it up.

"Looks like Jungkook forgot the file."
Taehyung muttered as a bitter chuckle escaped his lips. He remembered the last night clearly.
And now it's his duty as a good husband to send the file to Jungkook. Obviously he can't go because he have guests to entertain along with Jin and Jimin.
So with a thought in his mind he walked out of his room. File in his hands.
•••••••••••••••••••
He walked in the long hallways on his way to the living room when he saw someone approaching him.
Seeing the latter he smiled genuinely.
"Ahh-----Hoseok hyung I was just looking for you" Taehyung said with a smile as the latter now stood in front of him.
Hoseok also smiled brightly at him.
"Why were you looking for me Taehyung-ah?" Hoseok questioned.
"Hyung Jungkook forgot his file. Can you please go and give it to him. I'm sure he needs it for the meeting that is going to be held later? "Taehyung asked.
"Yes I'll go now Taehyung-ah ." Hoseok replied as he took the file from the younger who smiled at him gratefully.
"Also hyung did you find about the thing I told you about? "Taehyung questioned again.
Hoseok smiled.
"I don't know what you are planning. But yes I found it for you. It wasn't that hard." Hoseok chuckled as he slipped out a small piece of paper from his pocket and gave it to Taehyung who took with a beaming smile.
Taehyung looked at the paper and then at Hoseok.
"Oh my god. Thank you hyung. "Taehyung beamed.
"You're welcome Taehyung-ah "Hoseok chuckled again.
"Now I better go. I have a file to deliver afterall." Hoseok said with a smile and walked away.
"Thankyou hyung "Taehyung whispered to himself as he placed the paper in his pocket carefully. He was smiling so brightly.
•••••••••••••••••••
"Bring some more tea " Jin ordered his maid as he looked at the guests.
Wives and husbands of business partners of Jeon industries were there.
Along with them were the spouses of famous people who sat in their living room right now.
All were talking , laughing and gossiping with each other. It was like a small get together that Jin hosted.
These types of events are also necessary in their world to strengthen their bond with the powerfull people.
Taehyung always hated them. He still remembers the first event he attended after the wedding. He almost threw up seeing those fake smile and laughters.
How they showed off their wealth. How they laughed showing their perfect white teeth. How the excessive shine of their accessories hurt his eyes.
Jimin always chose the group of ladies and few gentlemen who loved to gossip all the time.
On the other hand Jin was always with the one who talked about business and world affairs.
Taehyung really didn't fit in any group. He tried it in the past. But the groups were just too much for him.
Then he found where he belonged in these events. With Baekhyun.
Baekhyun first approached him when he was sitting alone Biting his lips anxiously. He was trying to think where would he sit in the event.
Baekhyun's a bubbly guy. He always cheered him on. Taehyung started to look forword towards these events just because he could meet Baekhyun again.
The events he used to dread now became more fun.
He and Baekhyun could talk talk for hours. Their topic of conversation were simple and fun.
"You know Chanyeol is so busy with his work. That he forget about our date." Baekhyun whined.
Taehyung chuckled at the elder's behaviour.
"I'm sure hyung he didn't mean to miss it." Taehyung tried to assured.
"I know Taehyung but still---------------" Baekhyun whined again.
Taehyung just looked at his hyung with a big smile.
Baekhyun was complaining about his husband with a pout on his lips.
But Taehyung could still see the love and adoration for Chanyeol in his eyes.
Taehyung was really happy for him. Atleast someone he knows is enjoying is his married life.
•••••••••••••••••••••••
"Jin do you know the Kim's got divorced ?" Latter's friend asked .
"Really ?" Jin questioned back with a frown.
"They were so in love with each other in hugh school." he mumbled
"I know right. They were the couple goals just like you and joon in high school."
"Yes they were the couple goals. "Jin said his eyes showing different emotions.
They were the couple goals just like you and joon in high school.
Couple goals just like you and joon in high school.
••••••••••••••••••••
Taehyung was busy talking with Baekhyun animatedly when he noticed someone entering the living room.
Taehyung's eyes widened immediately as he stood and walked towards the figure.
Jungkook also saw Taehyung coming towards him. His face stoic cold.
"I forgot an important file on the couch. bring me that please." Jungkook said in a husky voice when Taehyung was near him.
"I saw that you left the file here earlier. So I sent the file to you in Hoseok hyung's hands. He's probably about to reach there. "Taehyung muttered. His head tilted to the side.
Jungkook stared at Taehyung for a minute and nodded.
He was about to leave again. But a voice stopped him.
"You're not even going to greet me now Jungkook-ssi." Baekhyun said in a teasing voice.
Jungkook smiled at him.
"It's nothing like that Baekhyun hyung. I didn't notice you before."
"Hmmm--whatever you say Jungkook--ssi. And I hope you are treating my Taehyungie well or else I would have to beat you with the same stick I use to beat Chanyeol "Baekhyun joked.
Jungkook laughed loudly and Taehyung smiled looking at him. It's one of the rarest moment when Jungkook laughed like that.
"I assure you I'm treating him well Baekhyun hyung " Jungkook answered as he pulled Taehyung towards him. His hand on latter's waist which made Taehyung gulp.
"Getting touchy in front of me Jungkook--ssi now" Baekhyun teased as he noticed this action.
Jungkook smiled at the latter.
But Taehyung didn't because he knew Jungkook started his act of looking like a perfect family in front of Baekhyun.

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!
