Crazy in love

After that night
"Giorno and Y/N left a few hours ago, i'm lucky that i managed to speak to Leone and Fugo in time. I hope they won't make any mistakes in there..." Bruno muttered to himself as he went directly to the room where Narancia and Mista were
"Ohh hello Bruno" the two guards yelled as the black haired man entered the room
"Hello everyone, i got some news." He said while sitting on a stool to catch some breathe
"Sure brother, what is it?" both concernedly started questioning
"Well, i might know what Giorno's problem is"
....
"Man, that's crazy. I've never thought he would be wrapped around someone's finger like this" Mista disappointedly said.
None of the guards expected the reason of their emperor anger to be so simple, yet so unacceptable and illogical
"He's not wrapped around her finger, we all are. We can't get too close to her nor be openly against her. Either way we'd die. The only thing left is to plan how to behave for now and how to make Giorno return to his normal state" Bruno stated, still trying to master a plan, but without any incredible success
"To be honest, i don't think we'll manage to change anything. But we must try, for him, for us and for the whole empire. I suggest we talk about it with him and if he doesn't come back in time, we can talk about it on our way to the battle. I'm sure he'll receive us immediately as soon as he hears her name" Narancia offered to everyone's surprise.
What he said was actually the most logical and possible thing to do, now they only needed to decide how to question his emperor without waking his anger and madness up
✧ ✯ ✧ ✯
Closer to the night, you and Giorno arrived to the cottage. It was a little house, but it still showed its richness in the architecture and furniture. It was obvious that it wasn't a normal peasant's house, yet it didn't look too much different from other rich people's houses. The emperor needed to hide his little escape from the city somehow.
Since it was night time and the trip was long, all the four of you decided to rest, even your guards. It was a pretty safe place, so extreme security wasn't needed, but for whatever occasion Leone and Fugo were ready to quickly run to your room and save you. Besides, the emperor himself was a great warrior who certainly knew how to protect both you and himself. You had nothing to worry about.
And yet, that night you didn't sleep at all; a lot of thoughts were bothering you. You were worried about your family and how they were living in your universe, you didn't even know if your world's time stopped or if you simply went missing without any trace. You missed them all, you wanted to go home. But most importantly, you wanted to know about Jack and why he was killed. What if he had more information about how going back home or other things that could've been useful....

What was going on? Why did Giorno lie?
Yes, that night you barely slept; you have fallen asleep close to morning time, around 6 or 7 am and you've slept for a few hours, until your boyfriend started waking you up.
"My dear, wake up. C'mon sweetie, i'll show you around, you don't want to miss such scenery at this time of the day!" Giorno whispered you your ear while softly poking your face to wake you up.
When you opened your eyes, it was sunrise. That's probably why he was waking you up, to show you the place during sunrise to make it more romantic.
Unfortunately, you weren't in the mood... At all. You were extremely grumpy and the lack of sleep togeher with your periods didn't help.
"Hello, my love. Slept well?" He said after seeing you slowly making attempts of standing up, but you simply mumbled something and looked away.
The man noticed your sudden change of attitude, so he decided to sweeten the mood in one way or another. He got closer to you and started caressing your back, slowly kissing it all the way until he reached your neck. Needless to say, that didn't help at all; you just carefully shoved him off yourself, still without facing him.
"What's wrong sunshine?" The blond asked while trying to make another attempt of getting you in the right mood as he got closer to you again and started hugging you
"Ugh.. nothing" you roughly said, now clearly showing your annoyment, and got up from bed to do whatever but talking with Giorno
"You can tell me, i'll help" it was his turn to stand up now. He slowly reached you, but you tried to pretend to look for some different clothes just to stay alone and avoid talking or getting physical with anyone. At that moment, you were like a bomb: any wrong move would make you explode.
Maybe, in the ancient times displaying affection physically was more used than in your days you thought, as Giorno made another attempt to get closer to you. This time he silently followed you and when you accidentaly turned around and faced him he cupped your cheeks and made you look at him
"Please tell-"
"Can you stop touching me?! I'm not in the mood ok?" You yelled at him. The bomb has exploded
"What happened?? What did i do?" He started yelling too, now instead of his loving face he was showing clear fright and disappointment. You were such a lovely girl, what could have happened to you? Why were you being so rude?
"You want to know what you did? You lied to me! And because of you my life can never get back and be the same!" You spoke with such sadness mixed with furiousness, it made your boyfriend shocked

"My love, i have lied to you, i could never!"
"Oh yeah, then show me where Jack is. Or should we go to wherever you hid his corpse?" You told him... and now you made the wrong move. You shouldn't have touched this topic, not again.
"Why the fuck do you care so much about him?!"
"Maybe because he could've helped me survive??! Did he tell me everything he knew or am i the last one to get the information as always?" You were yelling and yelling, each word infuriating Giorno even more
"Why did you even kill h-"
Giorno didn't let you finish the sentence as he grabbed you by the neck, slightly choking you, and made you take steps back until you reached the wall
"" He yelled so much that even the guards woke up and headed to your room to check whether everything was ok.
After a few knocks, Giorno realised that his hands were still on you, so he immediately let you go making you breath very quickly to catch as more air as possible.
"Is everything alright?" Abbacchio asked as he entered the room. It was obvious that something happened by the still showing anger in Giorno's face and your overall state. You were shocked, sad, afraid and disappointed. Actually, you felt much more emotions than these, but these words are the only thing your mind was repeating over and over your head
"Y/N?"
"Everything is fine, you can go. We're going to prepare for the visit around the countryside. Right sweetheart?" Giorno said and after the last question turned to you with a slight frown on his face. You simply nodded, with a stone cold face, that was noticed by both the emperor and the guard, which decided to leave since his abilities were powerless at the moment.
As soon as you were left alone with the blond, the latter immediately turned back to you and started stepping towards your direction again
"I'm so sorry my love i didn't want to hurt you. Please forgive me, please i'm so immature and stupid... I love you so much i-" he wanted to hug you, but you didn't react at all.
You didn't know what to do nor say, your situation was so different from any kind of experience you had in your previous life... Now you understood the real feeling of being powerless.
He managed to hug you in the end
"I love you so much, i'm sorry. I love you i love you i love you" he sounded so sincere, but what could you think about him after he almost choked you? It wasn't even that hard of a choking, but the face he had... You've never seen him like that. You started to understand what Bruno meant, you saw said madness in live.
Meanwhile, Giorno kept apologising. He was now swinging with you in his arms, trying to calm both you and himself down; you and him had something more in common though. Your eyes started watering and both of you tried to keep the tears on the face and avoid crying one in front of the other, but some sniffes where audible from both sides.
"Please forgive me, will you?" Giorno finally decided to face you and so you saw the regret in his face. He had the saddest face you've ever seen, red eyes and a shaky voice.
You, on contrary, were conflicted. You liked the man in front of you, you really did. But his outbursts were dangerous and violent and you didn't want yourself or your guards to end up like the other man from your world
"I will never do this again, i promise you. Please forgive me, i don't know what got into me. I beg you Y/N, i don't want to lose you" he kept saying apologetic sentences while you were reflecting on your decisions; but did you really have a choice?
In the end, you simply hugged him without saying a word, to what he immediately hugged you back with an extremely, almost suffocating, tight embrace
"I promise you i will be a good man. I love you so much, i don't want to lose you, especially not because of my roughness. Forgive me-"
"You are forgiven.... But at one cost" you interrupted
"My love, what is it?"
"Tell me everything from now on. Whether it's a clear event or a thought of yours, you'll have to let me know" you had a plan. Jack has been there for more than you, so Giorno certainly knew some details Jack didn't manage to tell you directly. Besides, now you could easily get access to your boyfriend's thoughts, so you'd know whether you were in danger or not.
"Of course, my sunshine. But then, i'll have to ask you a favor as well"
"What is it?"
"Don't run away from me. We will be together forever. Deal?"
"Deal, but if you break the promise then i'll be gone forever"

8 825Memoirs of A Healer/Clinical Social Worker: Autobiography of Bruce Whealton
A loving spouse. A healer. How does this person cope with evil villains willing to destroy everything? They convicted the victim... now how does the victim goes on with life as a healer? As the book opens, I was in a psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt in December 2019. What starts as a simple conversation with another patient changed my life. Most of the rest of the book tells the reader how I got to this point. I experienced profound injustice between 2004 and 2006. By opening with a story about suicide, I want the reader to understand that the injustice was not just something that happened long ago. This book is an account of all the accomplishments and successes that I had in overcoming tremendous odds and challenges. Growing up, I was paralyzed by shyness and lacked social skills, and so the idea of becoming a psychotherapist never occurred to me when I went off to college. I learned that I could overcome those limitations. I wanted to bring that hope and healing to others. Activities like that make life meaningful and bring me joy. The reasons why I was suicidal in 2019 were set in motion in 2000 when a meteor would come crashing down upon the life that I had built leaving me powerless to do anything other than watching everything burn to ashes - the home that I had, the life I had known, the love I had, my career, everything would disappear almost as if it never existed. In that one the year 2000, I could not imagine things could get any worse. But the nightmare would continue for the next few years... culminating in a suicide attempt in 2019. Now, I am connecting with others, building relationships, and finding a reason to live again. I am writing my own story of my life. I will fight against the injustice of the past and offer my gifts to the world. I have so much to offer. I have quite a story to tell. I hope you will help me to move on with my life.
