《Metanoia》Chapter 24

Ocean Man was gone and you could see the coliseum across the road.
It took me a while to finish him, everyone's probably there by now.
You looked at it while standing and took a moment to rest. You had bruises on your back from the rock pillar that fell on you, small cuts from the glass that had left a bit of blood on your arms, a clean hole through your shoulder that was bleeding badly, more bruises on your back with small cuts from the rocks that made it past the acid barrier, and scrapes and cuts from when you were swimming away from the sharp rocks.
To say the least, you were a bit bloody and bruised up. But you stood proud, you were proud of yourself and your stand. You were able to defeat someone more powerful than you on your own. Just you and Ocean Man.
You took a deep breath and you started to walk to the entrance of the coliseum. Still barefoot and you could feel the cold pavement against your feet.
You looked both ways before crossing the street like always and made your way towards the entrance. You saw everyone outside the turtle minus Narancia in front of the entrance and you smiled.
They made it!
You started jogging to them but your feet were sore and hurt too much from exhaustion and with no protection and your shoulder that was wounded hurt from the movement.
Ow- ow ow no, I'll walk, walking is a good idea.
You moved your hand to hold your shoulder and slowed down, switching back to walking and they walked inside.
You were quite the sight to pedestrians and ordinary people. You imagined people looked at you the same way you looked at Giorno when he was fighting Black Sabbath back at the school.
You made it into the coliseum but before you could take your next step you were somehow already on the stairs when you hadn't even gotten to them yet.
"Time skipped! He's here!"
You heard Giorno's voice from up the stairs and around the corner. You dropped your hand from your shoulder and reached the top of the staircase just in time to see a man in a wheelchair being thrown into the air.
Oh my god... the stand user was right... he is disabled, he is in a wheelchair.
You didn't question the fact that a man in a wheelchair was literally in the air, you just focused on the fact that Secco was right.
You saw what looked like the torso of a metal stand climbing in the air and rushed to lean over the edge of the barrier.
"Y/n!"
You didn't want to look away from what was happening but you did anyway and looked at Giorno. The group looked at you shocked and Trish and Fugo both ran forward.
"Y/n what happened?"
"Are you ok?"
They spoke at the same time so the words got mixed up and they instantly looked at each other. Their eyes narrowing again.
"Shh..."
You quietly shushed them and time skipped, you were in the middle of the coliseum.
You watched the stand start to turn into mush and the stand arrow drop from it.

"Y/n!"
You turned to look away again and saw Bruno on the ground. He couldn't stand properly and it looked like the mold got to him before Mista and Giorno could stop it, the mold itself was gone but the damage was still there.
"Giorno, help Y/n first before me."
Giorno, who was already walking to you and already planning on doing just that, nodded while Mista and Abbacchio jogged over to Bucciarati.
Trish and Fugo both started walking to you but stopped when they saw the other doing the same as them. The glare sparking up again.
"Giorno... do you think..."
You started talking but trailed off, you didn't know where you were going with it and Giorno gently held your upper arm after healing your shoulder, he hadn't gotten to your other wounds. All the hate Fugo and Trish had for each other was now collectively directed at Giorno.
"Do I think what?"
I know I've changed, but do you think I've changed in a good way?
You broke eye contact and started to walk to the turtle.
"Nothing, I forgot what I was going to say, I'm going to go lay down for a bit."
Giorno looked at your back as you walked towards the turtle. He spotted Fugo and Trish both staring him down and backed off. He turned around and was met with the cold look of Abbacchio and took a step back.
He looked at Mista but he was on the ground, Bruno was still down and when he looked back at Trish and Fugo they were collapsed on the ground too. He looked back at Abbacchio who had dropped to his knees and then fell over.
"Y/n something wr-"
He looked back at you.
You were starting to drop to the ground and your eyes shut, your sight leaving you. You were still partially conscious and you could feel the cold stone floor. You could faintly hear Giorno's voice and a deep breath left your lips and your breathing slowed. Your mind was swirling and unable to focus on one thing, like what was going on or why it was happening. You couldn't complete any thought and you fell into sleep.
It was a strange dream, where you were just floating through darkness and space and time. There were a few things that confused you. You saw a large floating rock that looked like a sitting person and a man surrounded by hands.
You had a feeling those weren't from your imagination. You let out a deep breath and maneuvered yourself through the darkness. That proved to be challenging due to it being similar to zero gravity.
"Ocean Man."
Ocean Man separated from you and it floated in front of you, you looked at it for who knows how long, oddly its jelly-like eyes comforted you. Maybe because it was a reflection of your soul, maybe because it was a horrifying sea creature that you loved, or maybe because you knew it would always be with you.
You held your hand out and Ocean took your hand, you held its hand and it held yours. You weren't used to floating but it was, so it pulled you around through the nothingness of your dream.

Ocean Man looked at you and started to make strange noises like it was trying to talk to you, you smiled and nodded your head along like it was a baby babbling and having a conversation with you.
"Woah, really?"
It nodded its head excitedly and made excited noises and proceeded to continue with its story. This made you smile and reminded you of the "conversations" you'd have with your little cousin.
"That's unbelievable."
It looked at you and nodded, throwing its other hand up and doing hand gestures while rolling its eyes, basically say 'I know right?' You made out a few words, it was trying hard to speak and it was able to say a few words that you could understand.
"The audacity."
It made another sound and did more gestures. Agreeing with you. You focused on the tone of its strange noises to figure out what the general feeling of the talk was and listening closely to make out some words.
The dream started to turn fuzzy and Ocean Man vanished, you looked around confused as you were left alone floating in nothing. Your surroundings were getting blurry and you looked down. You saw yourself becoming transparent and your eyelids started to shut and you had no controls over it.
You groaned and stood up. Stumbling a bit and your blurry vision clearing up.
Did I fall asleep?
You cracked your back loudly and looked around the turtle, rubbing the back of your neck.
The fight must have worn me out more than I thought it did... I should probably go back out now that I'm awake.
You started to walk but froze after a few steps.
Why... why does it feel like I have socks and shoes on? The shoulder that's hurting... that's not the one that was hurt.
You slowly looked down. You looked at your shoulder that was hurting and saw it was all bloody and the bandages on your forearm were unraveling.
Oh no.
You grabbed the mirror off the table and looked at yourself. There you saw Narancia and you were starting to freak out. You touched your face and looked at your stomach, you had abs. You couldn't believe it.
Outside -
You left the turtle as fast as you could and looked around for yourself, you spotted yourself quickly.
"Y/n, are you ok? Something happened before I was able to heal you fully."
Abbacchio (Giorno) was standing by your body and talking softly. He gently grabbed your arm to heal it and you watched in shock.
"You should go lay down."
You were holding the mirror and looked at yourself again and saw Narancia. You looked back at yourself and saw Abbacchio (Giorno) picking you up.
"Hey! Get your hands off her!"
Trish, who had a gun tucked into her skirt, yelled angrily at "Abbacchio".
"Put her down!"
Mista who was kneeling on the ground also yelled at "Abbacchio" and you saw yourself making a confused face.
"If Y/n's hurt then Giorno needs to heal her! Why are you picking me up?! Y/n needs help!"
Oh... my... god...
"I'm taking you to the turtle, I need to heal you Y/n, I can't let you stay injured."
He looked into your eyes passionately while you watched.
"That's what I'm saying! You can't let Y/n stay injured! Giorno needs to heal her."
"Hey! Abbacchio! Put her down!
Giorno didn't put your body down and looked around, freezing when he made eye contact with himself.
"No!"
Abbacchio looked at himself furiously. Yes, he did like the sight of himself holding you, but it was him holding you and that wasn't you. The last part however was just wrong. It was his worst nightmare.
He was Giorno Giovanna.
"Narancia!"
You waited for a second and you made eye contact with your self and you walked to Mista and handed him a mirror.
Giorno put Narancia down and looked at himself. Narancia looked down at your body and saw your boobs. His eyes widening and he slowly raised his hands.
"Oh my god."
He put his hands on your chest and squeezed.
"I'm touching Y/n's boobs..."
He was in shock and he traveled lower down your body. He grabbed your crotch and didn't feel what was supposed to be there.
"Stop touching Y/n's body."
Giorno looked down at you from his now 6'1 tall body and glared at you. Narancia took his hands off quickly.
"I have hair on my fingers! No! No no no! There's so much dirt under my nails! I smell awful!"
Trish was freaking out and had already cried in the mirror. You walked over to Trish and sniffed Mista's body.
Mista looked at Trish's nails and sniffed Trish's body sadly.
"Is that really true?"
You hear his downcast tone and put a hand on Trish's shoulder, she was still kneeling and close to sobbing.
"It's ok Trish, Mista doesn't smell that bad. I'm sure you'll get used to it."
You patted her shoulder and looked up at Mista in Trish's body, smiling.
"You think so?"
"B-But you don't smell as bad! Narancia still smells bad but you aren't as bad as me! I miss your vanilla scent!"
You smiled and helped her stand, now that she was in Mista's body and that you were in Narancia's body she was taller.
You looked at Narancia and saw his hand down your pants and Abbacchio in Giorno's body pushed him against one of the walls.
"Get your hand out of her underwear now."
You watched yourself cower in fear and saw Fugo still on the ground.
"Fugo?"
You walked away from everything that was happening and squatted down next to him. You slowly reached out and touched his shoulder.
He instantly jolted and grabbed your arm harshly, clawing at it and biting.
"OW! FUCK!"
Your cry of pain attracted the group and they rushed to you. They all looked at Fugo who was now calm and licking your hand while still laying on the ground and holding your arm.
"Fugo?"
Mista gave him a strange look and a cat jumped off a small platform and walked to you. Meowing loudly at you and you looked at Fugo's body. Your arm still in his grasp.
"Oh no... Fugo's a cat."
