Upon waking you burrowed yourself into the warm, soft sheets. A blissful sigh had left your lips at the comforting sandalwood scent they sheets had and the way the smooth texture gradually brought you closer to consciousness. Raising your hands and making a poor attempt at rubbing the remaining grogginess away from your eyes.
Your blurry vision gradually came more into focus and when it finally did you were met with what you could label as a breathtaking sight.
A part of you had assumed last night was a figment of your imagination-perhaps even a dream, but the still sleeping ebony haired man before you proved otherwise.
The faint warm light cascading in through the sheer white curtains behind you illuminated Bruno's soft yet sharp features, the light itself acting as a sort of golden halo making the already perfect strands of ebony appear even softer.
He looked picture perfect.
Without really thinking you let out a huff, eyes resting along his ebony locks unable to spot a strand out of place or even one that was remotely frizzy. How he managed to not have terrible bedhead was a mystery to you and it seemed as though it will forever be a mystery.
"What are you huffing about." Jumping a bit at the voice your gaze trailed down to meet with soft blue hues, the man's own eyes dragged themselves across the outline of your face. His voice sounded smooth though there was a slight raspiness to it from having just woken up.
"The fact that bedhead seems to be a '(Y/N) exclusive' thing." Giving a soft pout and moving your hands just above the covers to give some finger quotations, Bruno merely let out a laugh in response choosing not to say anything.
Taking in a breath he let out a sigh, eyes still singing over your face before he spoke. Not in response to what you had just said but a question instead, "What was the last thing you heard before falling asleep?"

Realizing that you fell asleep rather quickly, having been basking in the warmth he provided an embarrassed blush crept across your cheeks, "Er sorry about that, I didn't mean to fall asleep while you were still talking." Apologizing for your actions even if he didn't seem that bothered by it, you answered his question. "But I do recall you talking about when I joined the team, maybe a bit after the candle comment but that's about it."
"Why?"
Letting out a hum he felt a mixture of disappointment yet relief. Relief because he wasn't sure if that would've been the right time to practically pour his heart out, yet also disappointed knowing that you didn't hear anything after the flame comment.
"No reason, you just missed me saying goodnight is all." Simply stating that he held back a yawn shifting in place to sit up. His hair quickly fell back into place at he did so and upon seeing him sit up you briefly took the time to observe how the ebony haired mans white silk like pajama top matched quite well with the rooms aesthetic. "But regardless, how did you sleep?"
Taking in a breath and curling your arms underneath the pillow your head rested on you tugged it closer somewhat hugging it. "I slept pretty good. Your sheets are soft." Pressing your face into the pillow and basking in the sandalwood scent the end of what you'd said came out mumbled. Moving your face out from the pillow and tucking it below your chin your gaze trailed back to Bruno, "How about you? How did you sleep?"
Rolling his shoulders back as to get the joints moving he stood up from the bed turning back to face you, "It was one of the best I've had in awhile." His voice was still rough from having just woken up but even if it wasn't what he said next before entering the bathroom left you like many times before,

a flustered mess.
"You should join me more often. I didn't mind the company."
Still clutching the pillow you waited till he was out of sight to fling yourself off the bed, feet colliding quite loudly with the floor and you were pretty sure he was well aware that you were going to head back to your own room once he'd left.
Which was exactly what you did.
Sure, you could've just chilled in his room for a bit longer but you needed to follow up last night's events with something else.
That something being you darting through the hall into your own room, making a quick swan dive into your pillows; face first mind you. Followed by what would've been the loudest scream if not for said pillows.
Now if you had any girl-friends outside of the team you would've been texting them like crazy, but you didn't so screaming into a pillow was the next best thing.
Pulling away from it and taking a breath you rolled over facing the ceiling, a smile had found its way onto your lips before a knock among your door had interrupted your euphoric moment.
"Give me a minute!" Calling that out and moving around your room to throw on a quick pair of sweatpants as well as grabbing a brush from your dresser you ran it through your hair a few times, ending up just opening the door while doing so.
Staring down at you for a moment turquoise hues scanned your form for a minute before a brow raised slightly, "Everything good?" Inquiring that he wanted to double check that everything was fine, having heard muffled the muffled screaming not too long ago.
"Oh yeah, yeah. Everything's good, life's good." Answering with that and bobbing your head a bit as well you gave a hum, "Why? Something wrong?"
"No nothing wrong. I just wanted to drop something off that was left on my desk this morning." Simply stating that he raised one of his hands displaying an envelope, something of which he quickly took notice of how your eyes flashed with annoyance being covered up with something else.
"Oh, a letter." Your tone of voice obviously let him know you were less than enthused though it was quickly covered up as you shifted the tone. "Say when was the last time someone brushed your hair?"
Blinking at the question and change in subject he pursed his lips pondering over the answer to your question. "Not in a long time. Why?" At that he watched you reach out taking hold of his wrist instead of the letter held.
Guiding him over to where your vanity rested, you ushered him into a chair, pausing with the brush in hand behind him, "Would it be alright if. . ." Trailing off he realized you were making sure he was alright with the action, and a nod was given on his part.
"I don't mind, but before you do where would you like me to put this?" Referring back to the letter in hand he watched your expression contort into one of displeasure.
Now he didn't know much about why per say, but having let his gaze trail around the room they landed among the small trash bin tucked almost out of sight under your desk. Papers filled it to the brim and made it hard to see what was within, though with a keen eye he could see the iridescent wax seal broken apart yet still attached to a few pieces.
"Just in front of you. I'll look at it later."

An airborne biochemical attack occurred, where the deadly Medusa Virus had leftover 4 billion women alone to defend themselves on earth... ...after it wiped out the entire male species worldwide. Those women, who were pregnant with the infected males' semen of the virus, soon gave birth to a Third Specie -- the new breed of mutilated-transgender - resulting in the co-existence of the androgynous male-boys.
