Having been using Aerosmith to scout the area, 'Narancia' spoke, "There's no one else nearby. I can't tell if any of them are the boss. Everyone around the colosseum...is fast asleep. Even with my radar, I can't really tell how far it reaches. No, wait...some of them are moving just a little bit. Some are even waking up!"
"Jesus, what the hell even is this guy's range." Giving a huff and crossing his arms 'Abbacchio' frowned, if they all swapped bodies then that must've meant that the people outside did as well.
"I can't tell. But there's confusion everywhere." Responding to what 'Abbacchio' had said, 'Narancia' clenched his fists.
"What a weird ability..." Having crossed his arms and stated that 'Mista' turned his attention to Abbacchio's golden glowing body, that of which was currently still inhabited by the blond. "Hey, Giorno. What are you doing?"
Turning your own attention towards 'Giorno' you watched him close his eyes momentarily, a focused expression stretched out across his face before answering 'Mista's question. "I should be able to sense a soul's energy through the ground." Golden Experience briefly overlaid across Abbacchio's body as 'Giorno' continued, "But I can't...who is it? Who did Bucciarati swap with?"
"There can only be two people I can guess he swapped with." Having moved to kneel beside the man you gave a thoughtful hum before peering back and making a come here motion towards 'Trish'. "You're able to sense the boss's soul right?" Upon inquiring that right away it seemed like she knew what you were asking.
"If you want to know if the boss is in Bucciarati then there's one thing that's clear. That's not it. That's definitely not the boss's soul. But the strangest thing is that I'm certain the boss isn't nearby, either. He's disappeared somewhere." Having explained that you have a nod, it was perplexing to think that the boss was somewhere inhabiting someone else's body and that nobody would be able to tell apart from 'Trish'.
"Bucciarati...you're saying we won't know about him until he wakes up? Then until then, we can't take our eyes off of him." A noise caught 'Giorno's attention and his gaze flickered over towards one of the pillars, the turtle had climbed up and it was now moving around the edge.

"It hurts..." Turning your own attention towards the turtle as it spoke you had to make sure you weren't just hearing things, though the voice coming from it sounded a lot like the man from the second floor. "Without question, the enemy is Diavolo. Got it?!" The turtle now stared down at the group from the top of the broken pillar, "I-It hurts...But listen to me, Abbach-no...Are you Giorno Giovanna?" Right away upon hearing that 'Giorno' summoned Golden Experience moving to snatch the key before you held a hand out.
"Wait! This is the guy we were supposed to meet!" Calling that out and making sure what you'd said was heard the turtle had turned its attention to you piecing together who you were.
"You, you were the girl with Bucciarati. (Y/N) (L/N)?" Giving a nod at what he'd said the turtle seemed to nod as well before addressing himself. "My name is Jean Pierre Polnareff. As (Y/N) had stated I was the one who arranged to meet you here at the colosseum, but Diavolo backed me into a corner and I could no longer fulfill my promise."
Crossing his arms 'Mista' scowled lightly. "Who the hell is this guy? Who's "Polnareff?"
"Let me just say this first...I only did this because Diavolo left me with no other choice. The strange phenomenon that's happening to all of you right now...is a part of the arrow's power, the arrow I was supposed to give you. I'm desperately hanging onto my soul...so I can tell you this."
"The arrow? So you're saying this was caused by the arrow?" Piping in 'Abbacchio' blinked up at the turtle, he was told briefly what it was and why then needed it but the ability of it still baffled him.
"To be more precise, it's because my stand Silver Chariot took hold of the arrow. My body is already dead upstairs. The reason I was able to swap souls with this turtle and survive is because of that arrow."
Right away upon hearing that 'Narancia' ran over to one of the walls, scaling it quickly and kneeling on top. "There's definitely someone in the hallway on the second floor. There's a dead guy who's been knocked out of his wheelchair!"

A look of surprise gleamed in the turtles eyes upon hearing this, "It's only my body? Where's Diavolo?"
"Hey! If everything you're saying is true, your Silver Chariot can return us all to normal can't it?" Raising a hand and pointing towards the turtle 'Abbacchio' narrowed his gaze, he didn't want to be stuck in Giorno's body longer than necessary.
"No...I currently don't have the power to control Chariot or make it disappear. I don't even know where it is right now. Chariot has basically gone berserk."
"Your own stand went berserk? How irresponsible can you-" 'Trish' right away got cut off by 'Giorno'.
"No. More importantly, what happened with the boss? What happened to him? Where is Diavolo right now?"
"I don't know. Diavolo was right in front of me, but he disappeared. All of you, listen very carefully. The arrow is not your enemy, nor is it your friend! What I'm about to explain to you is hope! Such a trivial...trivial coincidence that happened two years ago. After I was incapacitated by Diavolo, I somehow managed to survive and hid in a small farming village. That's where the trivial thing occurred. The arrow we had retrieved in Egypt fell between the wall and some furniture. It's truly an insignificant thing. Normally, one would just stick their arm back there and pick it up. But for my body, it was an arduous task. I thought about just leaving it there, but iI figured that Chariot could get it for me. That's when it happened. Chariot hurt it's finger on the arrow. It was mere coincidence. The arrow draws out stands from those who have potential. But if it happens to pierce a stand...I don't know how old that arrow is, but I'm starting to understand what the person who created it was thinking. There's more to the power of a stand! Something that goes far deeper!"
Giving a brief pause Polnareff continued his story," Suddenly, the birds in the sky fell, bugs hid beneath leaves and cattle laid on the ground. And the farmers started sleeping in the streets. I felt a slight change, but a much bigger change had taken over Chariot. I had a bad feeling, so I immediately took the arrow away from it...before it could go berserk. Everything went back to normal as if nothing had happened. Then I realized that if someone who had enough power were to use this arrow, they would have the power to control the minds of all living creatures! But I currently don't have that kind of power. And that's why I waited...for someone like you who was searching for Diavolo's true identity. Though, in the end, Diavolo was able to outdo me."
"So this controlling minds thing..."Beginning with that 'Mista' placed his hands onto his hips staring at the turtle. "Do you mean the thing going on right now? It's just swapping souls?" Jutting his thumb towards himself after a brow was raised.
"No. Remember when I said that this was just a part of its power? I can't control it, so I wasn't able to see it's potential beyond that. But it definitely exists! Go retrieve the arrow! Stop Chariot before the boss can, and reclaim the arrow! The only way to defeat King Crimson is for you to use the arrow to its full potential!"
Although everything he was saying made absolute sense there was something you wanted to be sure of. "Wait, so in order to take back the arrow...you're telling us to kill Chariot?"
"Once you take the arrow Chariot will be destroyed regardless. Besides, I've already been finished off."
"But, here's one other unbelievable and important thing that I need to tell you."

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
