Sitting on the floor for who knows how long your gaze trailed around the small room. Trish had taken to occupying herself with one of the many magazine, while Bruno and Giorno looked over a map presumably planning the groups next course of action. Now Abbacchio had yet to wake up and had yet to let go of your hand even if you tried on different occasions to slip your hand away.
Looking up from the map Bruno addressed Mista who'd been outside the turtle alongside Narancia. "Then we'll acquire a car immediately. From there, we'll be in Rome within 45 minutes."
Turning your own gaze up towards the glass ceiling you could see Mista's gaze focused elsewhere but his attention was on what Bruno was saying.
"All right, got it. Perfect timing." Was the only response the gunslinger gave before returning to whatever was happening outside the turtle.
Wanting to inquire on what was happening outside, you stilled upon hearing a soft groan. Eyes snapped towards whoever the nose had arisen from and the room's focus was on them. The hand of which you'd been holding onto gripped yours tighter and it had occurred to you that Abbacchio was waking up. His brows furrowed together- face scrunching up before one of his eyes cracked open followed by the other. The light from the room instantly hit them causing him to squint, muttering out an array of quiet almost inaudible curses.
Raising his free hand up and using it to rub his face, the man let out a deep, his vision was blurry and the events prior to waking up were a bit hazy. But he could make out someone with (H/C) hair kneeling by his side, and the only person he knew with that hair colour was (Y/N).
"(Y/N)?" Right away giving a nod at what he'd asked you flashed him a warm smile.

"How are you feeling Abbacchio? You were out for quite some time." your tone of voice was soft and you didn't expect an immediate answer. You wanted to give him some time to adjust to what was going on.
Seeing him move to sit up you quickly assisted to the best of your ability seeing as he'd yet to let go of your hand. His gaze remained unfocused for a few seconds before everything sharpened and he could properly make out what was happening, your (E/C) hues met with ombre ones. "I feel like shit." Grumbling that out his eyes trailed towards his hands finding that he'd been holding onto one of yours.
"What happened?"
Trying to find the right words as to not unload a bunch of information on the poor man you let out a popping noise answering, "Well, we got attacked and you almost died." Beginning with that you continued right after. "The others came and we found out that the person who attacked us was the boss. Then our computer got hacked and we're meeting some French dude in Rome to defeat the boss."
Giving him a quick brief on what was happening you pondered over if there was anything you were missing; sure you were just glazing over a lot but the man just woke up.
"Oh and the boss's name is Diavolo."
Watching Abbacchio's face remain blank for quite some time you glanced over your shoulder towards the others, "Do you guys think I should've started out a little slower?" Right away a series of nods were given and an apologetic smile overtook your face turning back towards the man. "Sorry if that's a lot to take in. But uh I'm sure the others can clear things up much easier."
Simply staring down at you he took in a deep breath digesting the information given, his mind could clearly piece together the events leading to being unconscious and he could faintly recall hearing you shout out your stand. Everything after that happened too quickly for him to process and to put it lightly he didn't expect for you to react as fast nor in the way you did.

"Your stand...how did you- how am I..." Hoping that you caught onto what he was asking, right away you perked up.
"Oh so you got punched through the chest and I used Valkyrie to replace the function of your heart till the others arrived. Giorno was the one who patched you up fully and made you another heart." Gesturing back towards where the blond was then focusing back on Abbacchio you could see him relaying what you'd said.
"I guess I owe you one then." Humming that out and dragging his gaze down to where your hand was clutched in his own he rubbed the pad of his thumb over the top before relaxing his grip eventually letting go, "I guess I owe you both actually." Though he was reluctant to add the blond he was grateful for the two of you working to keep him alive.
Standing up from having been on the ground for so long you gave the man a bright smile, it warmed your heart to hear that he appreciated what you and Giorno had done, even if he had a distinct distaste for the guy.
Maneuvering yourself over towards the fridge and snagging one of the small water bottles you raised it into the air catching Abbacchio's attention. "Water?" A nod was given in response and you waited till he was properly facing you to toss the beverage over.
"Trish, Giorno, Bruno. Water?" Calling out to the other three both Trish and Giorno gave slight nods yes while Bruno shook his head no appreciating the offer. Tossing two more bottles towards the two and taking one yourself you sat criss crossed on the ground.
Cracking open the bottle and taking a sip your gaze traveled around the room once more, the team inside now seemed to have been filling Abbacchio in on more of what was happening taking pauses now and then so he could properly absorb all the information.
It was nice to see how caring everyone was with one another. You knew that since the beginning, but it always warmed your heart regardless.
Though that warm moment was cut short by the sound of Mista speaking.
"That's a Stand attack!"
"What?"
"They were waiting for us! There's an enemy here!" Catching the gunslinger move around outside the turtle he pulled out his gun letting out a noise of surprise after.
Narancia's face appeared through the room's windows and his eyes focused on something just out of view, "What the hell is that, Mista?! When did that get on you?" The two continued to explain things to one another and it was getting difficult to grasp the situation.
"Mista! Do you need medical?! What's happening?!" Standing up from the floor and calling that up at the man you waited for his response. With the way they were talking you could only assume it was something serious.
"Maybe?! My hand just suddenly bubbled up. I have no idea when this shit got on me. It's almost like mold...It's making my skin rip open...it looks like it's coming out from underneath my skin!"
"The same thing came out of the villagers and their bodies were falling apart!"
Taking in what was being said Narancia quickly piped in, "Th-this isn't good! We can't go up on shore. There's no way we'll make it up the stairs to the parking lot. We're better off getting away from the shore on the boat for now."

Parental Controls
Reeve Williams always felt more at home in vivid virtual reality than in drab real reality, partly as an escape from the very real embarrassment of her technically inept parents, Walter and Wanda. When Reeve’s parents give her a new total-immersion virtual reality system for her birthday, Reeve reluctantly agrees to show them what it’s like…just for a few minutes. But a mistake only her technophobe father would make leaves Reeve facing the prospect of spending months in the greatly accelerated, fantastically complex, brutally unforgiving game world. With her parents. Posts will be every M/W/F. If I ever decide to try to turn Parental Controls into an ebook, I won't do so in such a way that I'd need to take down what I've posted to Royal Road. I am not the Hero
Disclaimer: This is a slow burn story that integrates both Fantasy and somewhat sci-fi. The MC will be more of an anti-hero who will kill any and everyone that he pleases while still understanding the plight of a Villain. This is also family-centric with a dash of hidden identity, Yandere Romance, Blackmail, and a lot of character growth. === Why is life precious? Because you only have one. Then what about the person who took over 999 lives? Who died 999 tragic death as a villain? Then, how would someone like that live? The answer is simple... as he damn wishes. “I-it’s not like I did it for you, you spinless Warrior.” “Good, the doors to your left, you may leave now.” He said to the tsundere Knight. PAH! “How dare you hit a woman?” “Who cares if you’re a woman? You slapped me when I just saved your life!” “You touched my chest!” “I said it was an accident, and again, I just saved your life — you know what? Fuck you, die here if you want to.” “Wait, wait, come back! Don’t leave me here! I’m sorry!” the princess screamed for help after being tossed to the side of the road. Theo did all this, yet to his dismay somehow, his reputation remained good in the eyes of many! A Hero, A Righteous Warrior, Benevolent King, Shadow Lord, Beast Keeper — such were the names given to him... To all of this, his reaction was always the same. “WHY!? How did they come to the conclusion that I’m a Hero? Even my other identities who massacred a lot of people, mind you, are not any different!” [I know, right?] “Shut up, Goddess!” This is the story of the most malicious villain turned Hero. The one with the darkest heart shining with the most brilliant name.
