"In Greenland, there's a place called Capo York where only Inuit people live. It's famous for having a crater created by a meteorite. It's said to have fallen tens of thousands of years ago. In 1978...Two men from a team were surveying for natural resources within the crater contracting an unknown illness. They both ended up with blisters all over their bodies, and eventually, they dies looking like tomato sauce. On top of that, one of them suddenly shot a jolt like a stun gun from his finger and accidentally burned a few fingers off the doctor threatening him. In later investigations, it was discovered that a virus, which was tens of thousands of years old, had been trapped within the meteorite inside the crater. The virus may have flown here on the meteorite."
"A virus? What about it?"
"I tracked it down!" The screen displayed the head of an arrow and the man continued, "This arrow is made from the same material as the meteorite found in Cape York! Centuries ago, a man who craved absolute power like that of the gods found out about this rock and created arrows from it. This is one of them. The killer virus cells life forms. This is a theory called 'viral evolution'...Most people who contract this virus will die, but some possess something that let's them survive. And as if it were rewarding them, the virus gives them a new life ability."
"This has already been proven, with your own bodies."
"Oh, so stands are just permanent viruses?" Snapping their heads over towards where your voice came from a hum was given in confirmation, "That would make sense as to why the ability is hereditary then." Slowly shifting in place so that you were now sitting up, a hand went to rub the side of your face, pounding headache still remaining. "But that doesn't explain why it's something we need to get." Though the conversation beforehand was heard in bits and pieces you were able to pick up on what was happening.
"You'd be correct on that assumption with it being hereditary, but whereas the rest of what you asked I cannot disclose until you come see me in Rome. On top of that, I can only tell one of you what it is. Because no one else can ever find out about this secret power. But once you find out that method, I guarantee that it will take you to another dimension. It is the only way to defeat King Crimson."

The room grew quiet after this, each member taking in everything that was said before their attention turned towards Bruno. A thoughtful and serious expression was splayed out across his features, "There's no guarantee that your story is true." Closing his eyes the man let out a breath. "But if the boss hears about this, he's definitely going to eliminate you."
Standing tall and rolling his shoulders back the dark haired man once again held a gallant look, eyes sparking with determination. "I'll trust you. How do you want to meet?"
"Come to the colosseum in Rome. Once you get there you'll know , it doesn't matter what time. I'll be waiting. Everything will be revealed there." The computer cut out quickly after his last word and everyone stared at the monitor processing the situation.
"He sounded like he had an accent. Maybe French, I'm not familiar with French people but that's my guess." Absentmindedly stating that you leaned your head back staring at the ceiling as a sigh left though your nose. The thudding in your head had lessened to that of a small rock band.
"Definitely French," Resting a hand on top of the laptop and shutting it Giorno swiftly stood up moving past Trish towards where you sat, "But besides that how long have you been conscious?" Asking that and stopping just before you he leaned down a bit observing your current state.
Quickly shifting your gaze from the ceiling towards the blonde leaning over you, you puffed your cheeks out, "Uh well when he started talking about meeting to get the arrow, and uh..." Trailing off you pressed yourself back into the couch, your next set of words mumbles. "You're kinda close."
Merely responding with a hum he didn't seem to move back only raising a hand to softly turn your head, eyes scanning the surface, "You suffered a minor concussion but that should be healing up nicely." Murmuring that he nodded to himself brushing some stray hairs of yours aside before pulling back. "How are your ribs?"
Pursing your lips together and letting out a puff of air you patted your sides, "Tender, but I think they're healing up pretty good." Though you were telling the truth he merely let out a hum going to comment before having been pushed aside, Trish now loomed before you reaching her hands out to cup your own.

"If everything still hurts you should rest some more. We still have quite a ways to go to Rome." Insisting that and giving both your hands a squeeze, you could see the concern shining in her eyes as she said all that before releasing them to occupy the seat beside you.
Shaking your head at her and letting out a breath, you gave her a subtle smile, "I know, but I also want to check up on Abbacchio." Casting your gaze towards the man in question a soft almost unnoticeable frown curled onto your lips. "How's he holding up by the way?"
Crossing his arms and leaning against one of the room's walls Bruno answered your question, a deep hum parted his lips after. "Hasn't woken up yet, but he's breathing good and his pulse is strong." Azure hues bore into the unconscious man before turning over to meet your (E/C) ones. "I must commend you on your quick thinking. You were injured yourself yet focused all your remaining energy on keeping him alive."
"I thank you for that." The man's gaze softened immensely and gratitude shone from them. Without your actions he knew Abbacchio wouldn't have made it, but because you did what you did his friend and teammate can live to see another day.
Flashing the man a warm smile you shook your head lightly, "It's really nothing you should thank me for, I'd do it again in a heartbeat." Insisting that your tone held nothing but sincerity. These people have become pillars in your life and you'd be damned if they just crumbled.
Moving your gaze away from Bruno your eyes once again landed on the unconscious pale haired man, his chest rose and fell with each breath yet there were no tall tale signs that he was going to wake up anytime soon.
Which was fine. He needed the break regardless.
Letting out a breath and standing up from the couch you trailed towards where the man had been resting, his white hair had been sprawled out among the cushions and one of his arms had been dangling off the side.
Crouching down by the side of the couch and moving to raise the limp limb you rested it by his side, it was comforting to you to have felt that his skin was warm and body temperature was stable.
Standing back up and turning to head back to where Trish was a soft almost unnoticeable tug captured your attention. It might've even been just you getting caught on something, but in the back of your mind you knew that wasn't the case.
Casting your gaze back towards the pale haired man you could see the arm you'd moved extended out slightly, nimble fingers barely captured the fabric of your sleeve. Though trailing your gaze towards the man's face no signs of being conscious were seen.
"You think he's awake and pretending to be unconscious?" Asking that to whoever wanted to answer you gently pried Abbacchio's fingers away from your shirt opting to take his hand in your own testing to see if that's what he wanted.
Moving his own gaze towards the reason for your question blue hues focused on your hand which was softly clutched in another, an airy huff left his lips followed by a faint smile. "Abbacchio's not the kind of person to feign being unconscious."
"I think subconsciously he was seeking comfort and you just happened to be there."
