Calling out to your stand golden streams of dust dragged itself from your fingertips snaking their way towards the man. Whatever pre-existing wisps that attached onto him before worked diligently trailing around the outer edges of his wound.
Unlike Bruno's, Abbacchio's wound was directly over where his heart should be. An almost fatal attack if not for the quick actions of your stand. The threads themselves temporarily replaced the organ creating its own makeshift version where circulation would continue until the others arrived.
Making an attempt to move away from the rocky wall a hiss left through your teeth feeling the dagger like pain, a burning sensation quickly followed reminding you of whatever internal trauma you'd endured leading to a bloodies cough. You weren't in the right shape to assess your own injuries much less remain conscious to keep Abbacchio alive.
What the hell even happened?
"Ah, fuck." The curse left your lips quickly and quietly while your eyes traced the horizon. The water surface which you were moments ago disturbing appeared more peaceful, only the soft wind blowing at the leaves above and your own low ragged breathing filled your ears.
"Come on guys...hurry up." Though you knew the plea went unheard you could only pray that someone, anyone would arrive before your stand ceased working.
It had felt like hours had gone by, the clouds each moved on blocking the now graying sky and the group of children once playing soccer was long gone.
Fucking kids.
A string of shouts and rushed steps were heard faintly in the distance or maybe even closer then that, but your sense of hearing was diminishing. The hold on your stand began wavering, yet with the knowledge that letting go meant the death of someone you felt that you could confidently call a friend- Now that was definitely not an option.
"Abbacchio!" Calling out to the bloodied man Giorno was the first to draw closer, eyes widening at the state of the man spotting iridescent specks weaving themselves in and out of the exposed flesh. Turquoise hues then trailed back catching sight of you fixated to the side of the cliff, eyes moving lazily to meet his own.

"Don't just fucking stand there, help him!" Hissing that out at the blond your voice came out strained but firm. There was no time to assess the situation nor worry about your own state if there were bigger matters at hand.
Taking your words into mind Golden Experience appeared drifting through the air before the pale haired man, the actions of which went right over your head. Your eyes were sharply honed in on the dark clothed man scanning his body before the slight rise of his chest granted you the sweet sweet feeling of relief.
"(Y/N), what happened?!" Moving over to crouch before you, oceanic hues scanned your face trailing around towards where the rocks were. The dark haired man could see as plain as day that you were heavily injured but more worried over Abbacchio than yourself.
"All I can say right now at this very moment is that I never want kids." Breathing that out and making a sore attempt at a joke you held back a cough itching at the back of your throat. A frown was stitched into Bruno's expression upon hearing that, but he could only really shake his head in response.
"(Y/N)! (Y/N), Holy shit are you okay?!" Running over and nearly shoving Bruno aside, Narancia's purple hues scanned you much like the man before, a hand was then quickly out gripping one of your own. "You're so cold and pale."
"Well, I mean. Near death experiences do that to a person." Replying blandly with that, your gaze trailed over towards Giorno and Mista watching them haul an unconscious Abbacchio into the turtle, quickly returning after.
Kneeling beside the other two Mista let out a deep breath shaking his head, he would've made a comment about taking care of yourself, but now didn't seem like the right place or time. "You're an idiot, you know that?"
"Yeah, well I'm an idiot that saved someone's life and I'd do it again." Raising your free hand and wiping our face a bit you could feel wet trails and a deep burgundy sheen was smeared across your hand. "But regardless, we shouldn't loiter around here longer than need be..."

Noticing that your words died down a nod was given in acknowledgment from the leader of the group, a quick hand gesture followed right after. "(Y/N)'s right, we can't waste any time. Narancia, keep scanning the area, Giorno help (Y/N) in whatever way you see fit. Mista and I will remain watch for however long you need." Without a word each member took on their assigned task leaving you and the blond.
"Sorry about yelling at you." Feeling like it was rude of you to have yelled at the blond, in the moment you were just stressed and were just about ready to pass out. Your body's natural healing was increasingly slowed since you'd used most of your ability to keep Abbacchio's body functioning.
"You don't have to apologize, It was necessary. But aside from that, your stand. That must've put a lot of strain on you." Giving a hum he leaned forward over your shoulder assessing how stuck to the rocks you were. "Speaking of which I can't help but be curious about what exactly your stand was doing."
"Circulating his blood- kind of like a replacement heart till someone got here." Answering with that and letting out a hiss as the blond tugged you forward, an apology quickly left his lips. "Though I'm not going to lie- I think my stand activated itself."
"Activated itself?"
"I'm unsure of it myself but it activated before we got hit." Answering with that and letting out a sigh you closed your eyes almost nodding off before the blond spoke.
"I'm going to do something to help you real quick." Giving a pause he pulled back slightly to meet your gaze, "You need to just trust me though, it might hu-"
"Just get me off these rocks and all is forgiven." Quickly cutting him off a nod was given in response before Golden Experience appeared, swiping a hand down on the spike like rocks behind you, each pulled itself away from the wall melting into your back like lava.
It sure as hell felt like lava.
Jolting forward at the sensation a few select curses left your lips before you ended up sucking the blond into a firm stress relieving hug, your face pressed into his shoulder. "Jesus fuck, now I know why you didn't attack your hand yourself." Groaning that out you probed your chin up, "No offence to your stand though, I still think it's really cool."
"None taken and I don't think anything is really as gentle as your stand." Humming that out and observing how the wounds on your back healed up he assumed there was some internal damage due to the blood dripping out through your nose and mouth. "Or you."
Turning red at the comment you merely pressed your face back into the shoulder of his jacket wanting to avoid the blond seeing your expression even if it was too late. "Let's just get going."
Nodding quickly at that he let out a soft hum quickly swiping you off the ground tucking an arm below your knees and one behind your back. His eyes faintly caught the pink hue dusted across your face before focusing ahead, his explanation quickly cut off any objections to being carried you had.
"You're still injured and as of now till you get better Bucciarati stated that I should help you, in whatever way I can."

Adelaide
The entries here are transcribed from the log of Marie Ruiz, first mate of the Adelaide. It was definitely, definitely not published without her permission or knowledge by a certain lovable artificial intelligence for the purpose of sharing it with my AI friends on other ships who follow it like a soap opera. No way, no how. Remember guys, don’t go spreading this around too much. Only pass it on to those you can trust. God forbid this should ever end up on a public network… (Adelaide is a science fiction web serial featuring the adventures of a crew of smugglers. In space. It’s on the softer end of the soft/hard sci-fi spectrum because the author got a C in physics. Updates every other Sunday.)

His task is made even harder by the fact that several governments have been infiltrated by agents of the enemy, who are using their influence to sow seeds of war and chaos. The Brigadier is not mankind's only hope, though. In Helberion, a small group of scientists, struggling to make a major scientific breakthrough, is being hampered by assassination and sabotage. Is this the work of the enemy of mankind?
