"Are you anxious about something?"
Right away tilting your head up from fixing Bruno's pants his intense gaze met your own, a pink sheen quickly spread out across your face having realized you were unknowingly tapping your foot while sewing up the tear in his pants.
"Oh uh sorry, was I bothering you? I can stop." Quickly focusing back on sewing the last bit of the man's pants you tilted your head down in an attempt to hide your embarrassment.
"Oh no of course not. I was just asking because I want to know what's on your mind?"
Pursing your lips at that and giving a slight hum you finished your stitching tying the threads end before answering, "I mean I feel like something's off, I don't know what but that's what it feels like. That or it's just the fact that I've never been on a plane before."
Giving a hum in acknowledgement he watched you adjust the fabric of his pant leg once more allowing it to sit properly, his attention was still on you as he spoke. "That's understandable, but a plane isn't something to be too worried about. I assure you." Flashing you a comforting smile he crossed his legs.
Smiling back at the man you let out a hum standing back up from the floor. You appreciated how comforting he could be as well as how understanding he was.
A bit of turbulence struck once you stood up and upon noticing you stumble he outstretched a hand right away resting it along your lower back to steady you. A flustered 'thank you' left your lips quickly before you flashed him a quick smile turning in place to head back to the seat you'd initially sat in.
The girl beside you had still been intently focused on the window letting out a sigh once or twice. Her legs were crossed over one another and she seemed to have been playing with the seam of her skirt in what you could only assume was her version of an anxious quirk.

There must've been something on her mind.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
Merely maintaining her focus elsewhere she released a sigh once more before speaking, "I was just wondering if my father...No, your boss might have guessed that I'd be going to Sardinia to find out about the past." Her tone of voice was soft and her words were thought out.
"Well, former boss and I mean the thought has crossed my mind." Beginning with that you leaned back in your seat glancing up towards the cabins ceiling before meeting with Trish's emerald hues. "Which is why we need to figure out his identity and past as soon as possible."
Not meaning to eavesdrop Bruno couldn't help but listen in on yours and Trish's conversation leaning out into the aisle from his own chair and peering back at the both of you, a sort of 'do you mind' look crossed his face before seeing you give a nod curious to hear what he wanted to input.
"We figured that when he met your mother in Sardinia, he wasn't a gangster who needed to hide his identity yet. He was just an ordinary young man. He became a gangster after that." Giving a pause he pursed his lips, "He must have some kind of identity. The true identity of the boss from fifteen years ago surely exists." Keeping his tone leveled with whatever he'd been saying Bruno's gaze trailed towards Trish who'd quickly returned her focus back out the window.
"As his daughter, you should be able to track it down. Something, anything..." Trailing off you quickly popped back into the conversation drawing the pink haired girls attention back from the window.
"Is there a chance you remember anything from your mother's stories of the past? Or something along those lines?"
Pressing her lips firmly into a line and dragging her emerald hues over your face she responded. "Cala di Volpe."
"Cala di Volpe? The fox's tail?" Repeating what she'd said and thinking over them your gaze trailed towards Bruno in hopes that maybe he understood what she meant. Though he seemed just as lost if not hiding it better than you were.

"It's a resort located in a beautiful, emerald green costal area." Catching sight of your expression she clarified why she said Cala di Volpe. "My mother mentioned that she met my father there while on vacation. She also mentioned that my father grew up in Sardinia. Apparently, he spoke with a Sardinian dialect. But then he disappeared, and my mother never found out more than that...not even his name."
Turning her gaze back towards the window and resting both hands over one another an airy sigh left her lips. "I'm not even sure what I should look for. Besides, this is all just from my mother's reminiscing."
Hearing her go quiet after finishing that you trained your gaze along the side of her face, you couldn't begin to even imagine what she's been dealing with for her whole life.
"You're the boss's only living relative. That's why he's trying to eliminate you." Now those weren't exactly the type of comforting words you wished Bruno would've said to the pink haired girl, but it seemed like the conversation had taken a more serious tone. "Cala de Volpe...that means we have our destination."
A silence ensued after the conversation had come to an end and you couldn't find a topic to bring up with either of them. Which left you to your own devices, deciding to pull up your legs and shift in place to face the window.
The sky seemed mostly clear save for the various puffy cotton like clouds littering the air and the few birds you'd seen fly by. Below merely rested the vastness of the ocean and it's small waves crashing over the surface. You might've even been close to dozing off if not for the dark haired man before you abruptly standing up from his seat.
"You two. Is something wrong?"
Turning your attention towards where Giorno and Mista were you could see the two of them peering into the small fridge situated by the front of the plane. Moving off your chair curious as to what had captured their attention, upon looking in yourself your eyes landed on fingers.
"Giorno, you confirmed that there weren't any signs of life on this plane. But Mista is saying that it looked like those fingers increased from three to four." Pointing that out and staring down into the fridge as well Bruno's posture remained tense. "Is there any life energy in those fingers?"
Golden Experience quickly manifested after those words were uttered and the stands fist came in contact with the fridges door. An array of small green plants began growing out of the smooth surface trailing down towards where the fingers were sprouting through them. "They are just bones. They have no life. If these bones had any signs of life or were a Stand, plant life from Golden Experience's power wouldn't grow from them."
Keeping his pistol clutched in hand Mista's eyes remained on the severed appendages, he definitely didn't know what to think now. "It freaked me out because it looked like there was one more, so I could've just been seeing things...But there's still something really off about this!"
"There definitely is something off, I mean who leaves severed fingers in a fridge?" Adding your two sense into the conversation and pursing your lips after, your eyes remained fixated on the appendages.
There must've been more to them.
