"You probably shouldn't hear any more, because you all have nothing to do with this."
"I think you should explain." Stating that Giorno's gaze focused on the dark haired man, "Some of them might want to follow you. We need people on our side." Finishing up with that the blond was grabbed by the collar of his jacket.
Abbacchio loomed over him, jaw clenched, "What the hell is your deal, Giorno?! First, you go into the church without permission, and now this?!" Pulling at the jacket more as he spoke, Abbacchio paused feeling a hand rest lightly along his shoulder, snapping his head back his gaze fell upon you and it softened.
"Calm down, we still don't know the details." Saying that softly and dropping your hand from his shoulder the man let out a huff letting go of Giorno. "Bruno." Calling the name out as to get him to begin explaining the man did just that.
"The boss had us act as her bodyguards so that he could kill his daughter with his own two hands because she shared his blood, she could have figured out his true identity. I found that out and...I couldn't forgive him. I couldn't just come back pretending I didn't see that. That's why I betrayed him!"
"How could you?" "Are you insane, Bucciarati?"
"You know exactly what happens to traitors, no matter who it is. The boss never lets anyone get away! Hell, Venice could already be surrounded by the boss's elite guard!" Stating all that Abbacchio's tone of voice started out strong before dying out, the thought of Bruno betraying the boss weighed heavily.
"You're right, and that's why I'm going to need help. If any of you are willing to accompany me," Turning to the side he stared up at the group, "Come down these stairs and get on the boat. But I will not order any of you to come with me. I won't even ask you to come with me. I did this all on my own. So you don't need to feel obligated to come with me. This may come off as arrogant, but I'm going to say it anyways."

"I did this because I believe I'm right. I have no regrets. Despite the world we live in, I want to continue on the path that I believe in. If we can just find his weakness...although we're only fleeing for now, I will defeat the boss, no matter what. I will find his weakness, no matter what!"
Staring down at Bruno your gaze moved across his expression before turning to see the others having their eyes focused on the floor, their backs facing the man.
Clenching his hands into fists, Abbacchio walked past the three sitting on a small post by the side of the stairs, Fugo swallowed nervously before speaking up. "I understand your reasons, and what you did was right, Bucciarati. But I'm going to be blunt...I hate to say it, but no one's going to get on that boat." Raising his arms to hug himself he continued, "How could you let your emotions take over like that? I owe you my life, but going with you now would be a different matter. You've lost sight of reality. No one can survive in this world on exceptions alone." Stepping farther away he shook his head. "We can't survive without the organization."
"Fugo's absolutely right. What you did is basically suicide. No matter where in the world you might run to, you'll never find a safe haven again. Besides, I pledged my loyalty to the organization. It's not like I pledged my loyalty to you." Turning his gaze back down to the floor Abbacchio let out a long sigh, "But that being said I never had a home or place I wanted to go." Rising to his feet the man began stepping down the stairs. "The only time I'm ever at ease is when I'm with you, Bucciarati."
Stepping onto the boat and taking a seat both Giorno and Bruno stared at the man, his words were moving but you supposed they didn't move the others too much.
"Y-You can't be serious, Abbacchio!"
"If we actually manage to defeat the boss...considering my skills," Turning sound to face the three now below, Mista moved down the stairs tossing the turtle in hand towards Giorno, "I'd say I'm next in line to become a capo." Raising a hand and resting it on the blonds shoulder Mista's expression had lifted into a slight smile. "Bucciarati's smart. He never goes into a fight that he had no chance of winning. We're gonna strike it rich for sure."

"Mista! Not you, too!"
Hopping onto the boat the man in question turned around facing the remaining three, "What are you going to do, Fugo?"
Staring at the four in shock Fugo shook his head quickly, "You've all l-lost your minds! We're going to be completely isolated! Where are you going to run to? No, you won't even make it out of Venice alive!" You understood what he was saying and he had every right to be scared, betraying someone with as high of power as the boss wasn't something people even really dreamed about.
"Narancia, (Y/N). What are you going to do?"
Holding his head and trembling you could plainly tell Narancia was panicking, "I-I...d-don't know what to do...tell me, Bucciarati...what should I do? Do you think I should go?"
"Are you scared?"
The black haired teen stared at Bruno anxiously, "Yeah...I'm r-really scared...B-but just order me! If you order me to go with you, I'll be more confident! Nothing scares me, as long as you order me to do it!"
"No." The sternness was evident in his tone, "This is one thing I can't order you to do. You need to decide for yourself. You need to choose your own path."
"B-But I don't know what to do! I don't know!"
Bruno's gaze became softer after Narancia had said that, "But let me just give you this warning. Don't come with me, Narancia. You're not cut out for this." Stepping farther down the stairs and onto the boat he turned back just as Giorno spoke. "What about you (Y/N)? What do you want to do?"
Your foot tapping right away stopped as everyone's gaze moved onto you, a million thoughts ran through your mind all at once and you could feel your heart begin breathing incredibly fast. "Oh uh I didn't really think of what I wanted to say..." Moving your eyes from Fugo and Narancia down to Giorno you continued nibbling on the inside of your cheek. "I mean, betraying the boss was a very big move and I'm not going to lie it seems very scary..."
"But you guys are like family." Taking a step forward your arm was quickly seized, purple hues frantically searched your face. "You can't! You'll die! What about your family reputation! What about your safety!"
Staring back at the strawberry blond you pried his hand away from your wrist holding it in yours, "Family is where the heart is, and my heart's with the team. Besides, if I don't go, who's going to keep them alive?" It hurt you to see Fugo's expression, it was a mixture of a million different things but disbelief and sadness were the most prominent.
"B-but you can't!"
"But I can, it's my choice." Saying that softly you let out a sigh, (E/C) hues met with his and you flashed a reassuring smile. "We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when." Letting his hand fall from your own you raised up onto your toes pecking the blonds cheek before quickly falling back in place.
"But I know we'll meet again some sunny day."
