"The cans in the fridge are cold, do you think that'll work?" Crouching before the fridge and pulling out the few cans inside you shook them gently in hand assessing how cold they were, everything was chilly so you assumed that they should at least help slow down everyone's aging.
Not entirely of course, but by a bit.
"They might." Watching you rummage through the fridge some more Bruno shifted just in time to catch a bottle you'd tossed over in his direction, the glass was cold in his grip and felt nice compared to the heat of the room.
"Good, then cool yourself off too. I don't know what we'd do if we lost our Capo." Closing the fridge with your foot and making your way towards Abbacchio since he was the closest, you lightly took one of the cans in your arms resting it just where his jaw and neck were, the man let out a huff at the cold but didn't wake up.
Eyeing where the can rested you could faintly tell that Abbacchio's aging had slowed just slightly, a good attempt if anything and you proceed down the line doing the same with Fugo. "it looks like it's kinda working." Humming that out softly and moving to crouch before Giorno you could see he was still awake, a sort of thoughtful look crossed his expression but no words were spoken.
Raising the last can in hand up to his face and pressing it against his cheek lightly you gave another hum, "Hopefully this helps, it looks like it has been. But for how long is the real question." Raising his own hand to take the can from you he gave a slow nod before laying back down onto the couch.
It seemed like there wasn't too much time left.
Casting your gaze over towards where Trish was you could see her kneeling among the ground with Narancia's head in her lap. An ice cube was clutched in her hand and she dabbed it along the teens face.
"You shouldn't worry about Narancia. Save the ice in the glass for yourself." Having knelt down beside one of the red seats Bruno directed his attention towards Trish. "You need to keep your body chilled."

"Fanning the air and the chill from a cold towel aren't enough. Cold can's can only do so much and there's no immediate effect unless you're using ice." Moving her gaze away from Bruno and back to Narancia a frown curled onto her lips. "At this rate, he'll be the first to die."
"Narancia and the rest of us are willing to risk our lives to follow the boss's orders. You just need to think about your safety. That's our job." Although there was a conflict of interests in your mind, you knew that what he was saying was true. It might've been because you were a medic, but the team's safety was always a priority to you and just being told to ignore that was difficult.
"You're not here because you want to be here, after all. And as for the enemy who's causing us tall to age-" Pausing he turned to look through the glass roof continuing. "Mista will take care of him. I'm sure...he'll do something."
Casting your own gaze up towards the glass, your lips pursed together into a firm line, Mista was a capable man but you couldn't help but worry. With the rapid aging and enemy on board anything could happen.
A pang happened.
Jolting forward and nearly tripping over the coffee table you clutched the front of your shirt tightly, a warm substance leaked from your nose onto the ground and by the looks of it you came to the conclusion that it was blood. A violent pain ripped the air from your chest and it felt like your heart had momentarily stopped-skipping a beat before resuming as normal.
"(Y/N)? (Y/N, what's wrong?" Stilling in place you could hear Bruno speak, the words went right over your head and your main focus was on the growing pain, something you've only ever felt once or twice. Once or twice in your whole life and right now you wished it wasn't happening.
"Something's wrong...something's wrong with Mista." Turning your head to face the man he stared at your bloodied nose concerned as to where it came from and why you were clutching the front of your shirt. "The butterfly's gone."
Knowing that the insect was just one part of your whole stand he was a bit relieved, but that relief quickly disappeared when something entered the room dropping down from the ceiling. The small stand quickly stood up from the ground, a large six displayed among its forehead.

"Bucciarati! Mista's down!" Hearing that the dark haired man right away rose to his feet, "The enemy's are heading here now." Upon hearing the stand add that you blinked down at him now knowing that there were two enemies on board instead of the initial one.
"Number Six what happened to Mista? How's he holding up?" Losing the grip on your shirt and raising a hand to wipe beneath your nose you stared at the stand waiting for an answer.
"He got shot point blank, but number five was able to stop them luckily. He's in the dining cart." Nodding at what was being said you exchanged a look with Bruno. It was as though a whole unspoken plan was devised between the two of you where when there's an opening you'd take it.
"Are you both going to be alright after?" Hearing Trish ask that softly you turned to face her giving the best comforting smile you could muster up for the moment. You could tell she was worried about everyone and no doubt with a valid reason to be.
"We'll be fine. Like Bruno said, it's our job." Giving her a nod after stating that your gaze trailed around the room before watching Bruno step out of the turtle, Number Six right alongside him holding an ice cube.
"When I hop out, everything's up to fate."
Now playing the waiting game you stared up towards the glass roof spotting two men looking in, both presumably the enemy by the looks of it and due to the stand manifesting beside the blond one. Blocking out what they were saying your gaze trailed towards the ceiling above them watching a sipper open up and Bruno peer out.
Sticky Fingers peaked out as well winding up an arm and swinging it forward only for the enemy's stand to dodge. The ebony haired man jumped out from his hiding spot kicking the second enemy, all while throwing more attacks towards the first. Cornering the man over a set of zippers, they opened resulting in them both falling outside the train.
"If I can get you off this train. If I can just undo the aging, my six subordinates will be back, and we'll be able to protect Trish!" The man holding onto Bruno seemed surprised at what was being said and it wasn't till Sticky Fingers appeared once more than you took it as your que.
"I'll be back Trish, if worse comes to worse Narancia has knives on him!" Hastily saying that and running over towards the chair you quickly found yourself in the conductors car. Hopping over the knocked out man and moving swiftly through the passengers cart, your gaze fell upon the dozens of innocent people affected by the enemy's stand.
Each person with a life of their own was put into danger and potentially even dead because of one man. "That bastard." Tugging your eyes away from the passengers and continuing on through the doorway you eventually came upon a door with a shattered window and bar.
"Mista?!" Calling into the room and struggling to push open the door through broken glass, you squeezed through it's opening spotting the gunslinger bleeding out against the floor. Number Five was perched among his head waving frantically towards you.
"(Y/N), I stopped the bullets, but Mista's losing blood." The stand had tears streaming down his face as you approached, quickly resting your hands over the man's mounds. "Hey hey it's going to be okay, he's going to be okay." Reassuring the small stand your hands began glowing and the wounds began sealing themselves up.
Letting out a soft sigh of relief you moved to accommodate the man's head resting it lightly onto your lap, Number Five moved as you shifted the man choosing to perch himself along your shoulder.
"I take it you're not revoking your companionship?"

Across the Realms [Dropped]
Disclaimer: I'll leave this on here for anyone to read. The last time I uploaded a chapter was nearly a year ago, and to all the readers who still kept their trust in me after I came back from my umpteenth hiatus, I am sorry. I will not carry on writing this; I started off without the correct foundations of a novel, nor commitment to fully finish it and I do not want to lie to you all once again. Maybe one day, I may decide to re-write the novel, with a new basis or at least a comprehensive starting point with many of the narrative errors cleared up; but, till then, this is goodbye. And, once again, thank you for the motivation you gave me. Even now, I see many emails come through with people commenting. Goodbye. A child blessed by the Astral. An unprecedented destiny. Watch his path, as he marches up the stairway of Heaven. A March of a Sovereign. [Adventure, Wuxia, Martial Arts, Fantasy] This is a Qihuan novel; it has eastern and western fantasy elements. More often than not in Xianxia or Xuanhuan there is a severe lack of character development, being a western writer I'm changing that. My characters, from my totally unbiased view, feel fleshed out and actually have emotions. This is my first attempt at a novel, I'm writing as a means to better convey my thoughts. I will, hopefully, steadily improve chapter-by-chapter. I'm very open to feedback and constructive criticism. As one can see this is a cultivation novel, so you know how this goes. I've decided to jump-start the whole rags-to-riches scenario. He is strong from the start and is given the utility to do so. *The cover art is not my own, all rights reserved to the owner. I will take it down if necessary. *The style of the recent chapters is comparatively different than Chapter 1.

A Dark God In An Otherwise Godless Multiverse
Eons ago a devastating and apocalyptic battle took place that rocked every dark and loathsome corner of the multiverse. In the aftermath of the battle, deities, demon-lords, old ones, arch-devils, angel kings and archon queens, not to mention other cosmically powerful entities were totally obliterated. Despite this history-changing occurrence, life found a way and life went on in a godless multiverse for an unimaginable length of time. And in time, even the mightiest and most popular gods were nearly forgotten. But one day, in a universe unlike our own, an altogether fantastic and magical universe, a deity is born. A new deity. An evil deity. Join the aforementioned dark deity as he embarks on a quest to gain power, worshippers, and dark glory. This story features a deity as its protagonist, but it's a deity who starts off alone in a dark and harsh multiverse. He needs worshippers to grow in power and has to earn his victories intelligently. He seeks to gain worshippers, discover the truth behind his genesis, and become the deity he is meant to be. He is a villainous protagonist who will hurt others, and he's unafraid to kill and destroy what he can't control. This is his story. Please note: this story will contain evil beings doing evil things. Violence, gore, profanity, and sexual content will all be featured throughout this story.

Ghostified City
‘Ghostified City’ is a post-dystopian sci-fi tale, set in a fading world that might be a future version of ours, running out on autopilot into oblivion. Adaman Yimmand is a simple robofactory operator in The City who's working with robots and machines every day. He doesn’t even realise that he might not have met another actual human being in years. Everything begins when he breaks his routine for once and enters a bar where he meets Evelith. This pesky other person does not let him go after he has had his -rather terrible- beer, because according to her actual humans are much rarer than he’s aware of. And from then on ‘the genie is out of the bottle and won’t get back in’, to use her words: Adaman meets more people, and gradually he has no choice but to accept that the reality of The City is not what he always thought it was, and to face the darkness of a fading humanity on the brink of self-inflicted extinction. Is there any hope left for him, and for his species? I have selected 'sexual content' and 'traumatising content' to be on the safe side, because there is a stripclub-like venue in the background of the story, and an almost-extinct humanity that has institutionalised suicide which might be disturbing to some. Apart from that it's not really a heavy 'adult' story.('Ghostified City' is my first long story in English as opposed to my native language Dutch, and an earlier version was published on my fiction blog 'Oranderra' until I stopped updating. This is a slightly altered version of the first series.)

Is Lucas Destined to Die in the New World?
Lucas imagined himself doing grander things in life; after all, he put in his own blood, sweat, and tears, and got himself a master's degree in English. Maybe he'd be the next best-selling author, or maybe the most popular late night TV show host. However, life didn't give him anything more than a management position at the local burger joint. Day in and day out, he flipped burgers, swept floors, and made weekly schedules that his employees ignored. All he had known for the past five years of his life was pure misery. Then after one night of drunken revelry, he found himself in an unfamiliar world, but he knew all the gimmicks. He knew these stories had quirks he could manipulate- he could put all his stats into magic and become the best wizard in the world, or he could dump all his stats into strength and become a veritable warrior. But once again, just like Earth, this new world seemed to have different plans for him. Instead, he was given a luck stat of 0 and a skill that forced him into danger where there should have been none. Why is this nerdy, magical paradise trying to kill him? Content warnings are there to give me some creative legroom later. There's not an excess of any gruesome content in the story, and what is there is tastefully sprinkled in. This is a LitRPG. Updates are twice a week on Mon/Fri plus some extras here and there.

Alistair’s Great and Powerful Startup Dungeon
The Great Golden Hero Thorian the Fair is dead! Ok, Great might have been a little much… and the only thing Golden about him was his armor. Fine! Devoid of his divine luck and stripped of his power, the newly made Dungeon Demon Alistair must struggle Fang and Claw to build his new home. Sometimes cosmic justice exists and it’s a kick in the head.Author’s Note: Hey, if you like Town/Dungeon building please come in and read my story. My main focus will be writing a fun story about a struggling demon trying to gain power and a little bit of safety in his new life. Occasionally, a chapter will deal with the outside world and how Alistair’s home changes some people’s lives. Sadly, there will be errors in spelling and grammar, but I am being up front about it, please leave specific feedback and I will gladly correct it.
