Having unloaded the van and stepped aboard the train, you lingered by the entrance watching Bruno kneel before a water fountain. His brows were furrowed and it was obvious he was still looking for whatever the key led to.
Moving your gaze towards the station's clock then back towards the Capo you chimed in, "Bruno, the train's going to leave soon." Catching sight of the confused expression strewn across his face you added on, "Is there something wrong?"
"There's no other drinking fountain on this platform, is there?" Raising the key and placing it next to the keyhole before him he added on, "This key won't fit into this keyhole. Not to mention you don't even need a key to open it. It's just a stopcock."
"What about the fire hydrant?" You weren't really sure why the key would go to a fire hydrant but there was a lock on it and a key certainly went to it. Now whether that key was the one Bruno had or not was the real question.
Moving to grab the lock and place the key beside it he shook his head, "No that wouldn't work, the shape is completely different. There aren't any locks or doors that this key will fit. They just aren't here!"
Pursing your lips in thought you casted a glance towards the time once more, "Should we pass on the train then? The next one departs in fifteen minutes for Rome." Suggesting that you watched him turn his gaze towards you.
"No. I'm sure some of our enemies know we're here and are heading to the station now. We have to leave here immediately!" Insisting that he then listed out what Abbacchio read off the key back in the van. "The sixth platform...The drinking fountain with the turtle...This has to be the spot! This has to be." Raising the key into the air some more and eyeing it he brought it down, "Damn it! What's-" Catching his gaze drift past the key and towards the turtle sitting by the drain, everything clicked.
"Wait a minute, does the key belong to-" "The turtle." Finishing the thought for you Bruno quickly scooped up the animal ushering you back into the train. Slipping the key into the slot on the turtle's back, the group each got pulled down into it ending up in a rather spacious room.

Pulling yourself up from the floor and staring up, you were quite impressed that something like this could happen. Bruno also seemed quite impressed himself, "So the key wasn't made to fit into a keyhole. It actually fit right into this turtle's shell. That, in turn, somehow activated the turtle's ability, creating this space and making the key itself the entrance so that we could hide inside." Everyone stared up at the glass ceiling in surprise, it wasn't everyday that there was an animal with a stand.
"So wait, does that mean that the turtle is a stand user?" Asking that you were the first to begin moving around the room, running a hand along the furniture as if to make sure it was there and not just something you'd phase through. Wanting to ask the same question you did Narancia reached upwards practically getting sucked back out through the key before returning, falling right into one of the red chairs.
"Ow! B-But man, this is awesome! This turtle is like some kind of spaceship!" Shaking your head at the black haired teen's comment you merely eyed the walls catching sight of Fugo running a hand along one.
"This room isn't some kind of illusion. This is a real room. Even the sofa and other furniture is real."
Seeing Abbacchio crouching down before what looked to be a mini fridge you trailed over leaning beside the white haired man, "There are some chilled drinks in here." Reaching into the fridge and tugging out one of the bottles you eyed the contents seeing that it was just a chilled bottle of water.
"I guess the boss left them in there for us. Turtles like being in the shade, they aren't loud and they don't scuttle about. This way, we should be able to get to Venice by train without worry." Coming to that conclusion Bruno gave a hum addressing the team before trailing his gaze towards where you sat in front of the mini fridge.
"Does that mean I'm allowed to take one of the drinks?" Wanting to make sure that it was alright you were given a nod. Cheering to yourself and keeping hold of the water bottle in hand you peered back towards Trish, "Now I can offer you something. Any preferred drink?"

Hearing you call that out she pushed herself off the floor moving into one of the chairs, "Water's fine." Nodding at the answer you found a glass and an ice tray quickly pouring some water into it, handing it off to the pink haired girl. A few magazines were sitting on top of the coffee table and you figured she'd appreciate something to cure potential boredom.
"Did you want anything?" Moving your attention towards Bruno who'd taken Narancia's former seat, the man merely gave a slight nod.
"If you don't mind." Watching him motion towards Trish's glass you understood right away, getting him one of his own before passing it over and taking the corner seat of the large L shaped couch.
Fugo and Giorno both sat a cushion away from you both seemingly falling asleep, as was Abbacchio who curled up along the left end of the couch. Mista and Narancia leaned against the wall beside where the cupboards were, both eyeing the room.
"I didn't realize how tired everyone was." Humming that out softly as to not wake up the three, your gaze trailed towards Bruno and Trish. You had assumed that the morning mission had tired the three out and perhaps because you'd already taken an assisted nap you didn't quite feel the fatigue.
"Well this'll be one of the few chances everyone will get to rest up. So I don't blame them." Answering with that he gave a soft nod taking a sip of water, nodding as well to his answer you copied his action taking a few sips from your own bottle of water.
Giving a yawn from where he was standing, Narancia rested a hand behind his head. Mista moved to crouch before the mini fridge cracking it open while speaking, "It's probably because we're in a room inside a turtle, but it's sorta muggy in here. You want a drink, Narancia?" Calling that out towards the black haired teen Mista continued. "There are only cold drinks, but there's cola, Mineral water, carbonated, non-carbonated, apple juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice."
"Hey, are you even listening?" Switching your gaze between the two, you watched Narancia move his hand behind his head. "Huh? What was that?!"
"I'm asking if you want something to drink! Also why don't you get some rest while you're at it?" Holding a bottle in hand and turning to speak to the dark haired teen Mista added on. "You look pretty tired. I'll keep an eye on the ceiling."
"Oh, okay!" Narancia's response was loud before he began muttering about something, patting his shoulder and complaining about wanting something warm.
"I told you, there are only cold drinks in here! You never listen, do you?!"
Rubbing the back of his neck Narancia stared down at the fruit bowl before him, "I'll just eat this banana then." Picking up the fruit and holding it between his hands purple hues trailed towards the magazine resting before him, "Man, gardens like these make me sigh. They're so calming..."
Knitting your brows together at his rambling you felt like something was off, the boy's face seemed to appear sunken in and upon flipping the page Mista made a comment on him licking his finger.
Right after Narancia coughed into his hand, something followed right after and if you weren't so far away you could've sworn that what was being coughed up was...a tooth?
No it definitely was a tooth.

The gang seeing a tooth fall out of Narancia's mouth:

There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!

Unto Dark
A man of cripplingly ill mind, bridled with the spirits and regrets of the past. Wade Pierce trudges through each day of his monochrome existence, only as penance for his sins. Such a man is abruptly decamped of this world courtesy of unapologetic forces, left stranded in a realm filled with unknowns. Armed only with his potent yet fragile intellect, Wade advances into this new abyss, as he attempts to rewrite the wrongs he has committed. Plagued by vile beasts, self-righteous Gods, and even his own seething darkness, the cracks in his mind begin to spread and a dangerous, newfound power bubbles beneath the surface. As the world grows darker day by day, this unfortunate journey begins ------------ I suppose rectitude dictates that I should state any themes worthy of noting here. First of all, this story is not a sunshiny one in the slightest. Since it is listed under the psychological and mature tag and not the comedy tag, that shouldn't be a surprise. Next, morbidity is a factor and general apathy towards human life. All of these are common themes amongst other writers, so nothing new there. The story also contains consensual, and non-consensual sexual activity, although I have tried to be as tasteful as is possible for someone like myself. Finally, the pace is drawn-out, and the language is magniloquent at times. Not to mention, the chapters are quite lengthy. Don't expect to read this halfheartedly... Other than that, enjoy the story... There's nothing more important than that...

What would happen to a guy that died out of rage while in a Guild War? What would the choice of some bored dimensional being who catches his soul in the middle of his way to the afterlife? What would happen when the guy's addiction mixes with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!? What chaos would that bring to the world!?------------------------------------Well, this was an idea I had like a week ago, and wanted to try it out on my journey to learn how to write. So, here it is. It's another fanfic, yes. Because it's easier to write. Also, with this one, I'll probably post only during the weekends, not daily like with the Novel's Extra's Extra. Firstly because I want to finish the other one, and also because I need to research a lot more (I'm not that knowledgeable in Harry Potter.) As usual, any feedback and criticism will be well received, and thanks for reading! Will be posting this in Scribble Hub and Webnovel too.
