Putting a zipper along the urinal and pulling out it's contents Bruno moved it all over by the sink where Mr.Pericolo stationed himself, inspecting each piece of precious material.
"Yup...it's real." Humming that out the man held up a piece of jewelry, "This necklace alone is worth at least seven or eight hundred million. Bucciarati, I won't bother asking how you got this fortune. All the organization cares about is that you have the money." Slipping all the valuables into a bag the man ignored both Mista and Narancia. The group returned outside soon after.
"The reality of this fortune shows us is that the owner is intelligent and trustworthy. Congratulations, Bucciarati. You've been promoted to the position of capo." Hearing that your gaze moved towards the ebony haired man. Proud expressions were set out across the rest of the teams faces and you would've congratulated the man as well if not for Mr.Pericolo speaking once more.
"You'll be taking over Polpo's turf, now that he's dead. You'll be overseeing the gambling, money-lending, and smuggling at the harbor, as well as restaurants and hotels in Naples. Fifty percent of the profit will go to the organization and the other fifty will be yours." Everyone gave a nod approvingly at what their leader had achieved, it showed that all their hard work had really paid off.
"By the way, I know you just took over for Polpo, but he had left one job unfinished. Of course you'll be taking on any jobs that Polpo had, Bucciarati." Pointing towards him he then asked, "Are you okay with that?"
"A job Polpo left unfinished?"
"It's a direct order from the boss." Questioning whether or not everyone heard him right the man once again began speaking, "Correct. I'll tell you right here and now. You'll be guarding the boss's daughter and risking your lives doing so. That's all."
"Daughter?" Being the first to speak after what he's said your brows raised in surprise, you weren't aware the boss had a daughter and assuming the rest of the teams expression they probably didn't know either.

"You'll start guarding her right now. I've handed her over to you." Now understanding what he'd meant Bruno questioned him, "Handed her over?"
Staring at the man and trying to piece together what he was saying, your gaze moved onto the other janitor, the pieces quickly linked together in your head. "Wait, could that other janitor be the boss's daughter?!"
"That's her?"
The 'janitor' began pulling off her gloves, "Do you mind if I go to the bathroom?" asking that the man beside her gave a hum. "That's fine, Trish." Upon getting the okay she walked through the group towards the women's side of the bathroom, casting your gaze towards Bruno he seemed to give a slight nod at your unspoken question excusing you from the group.
Stepping into the bathroom and leaning against the sink you tapped your hands lightly against the counter pondering on what you could say to start a conversation. An introduction seemed basic but necessary, "Hey uh just to let you know the names (Y/N), in case you were curious."
One of the stalls opened up after your introduction and she stepped out, your eyes trailed over her outfit briefly before settling on her hair, "Wow your hair is pretty." Blurting that out you almost instantly wanted to take it back thinking you'd made her uncomfortable, yet the edges of her lips almost unnoticeable curled up.
"Thanks...and Trish is mine." Her voice was soft and it seemed as though she appreciated the comment moving to wash her hands in the sink beside you. Her gaze lingered on you for a moment before turning to look out the doorway at Fugo, Mista and Narancia who'd been staring in.
Stepping out of the bathroom and eyeing the three she stopped before Fugo, "Um..."
"M-me?"
"Yes. Is it with you..um, am I going to be with you now?" Hearing her tone of voice come out different than when you were talking to her you assumed it was a comfort thing and that she'd felt more comfortable talking to another girl as opposed to a guy.
"Yes, that is correct. But it'll be all seven of us." Explaining that the strawberry blond added on, "We'll be risking our lives to protect you."

Taking in that information she took in a breath, "I see. Then would you mind taking off that jacket?" The question threw you for a loop as well as the blond being asked. "My jacket? Why?" Questioning the pink haired girl she merely asked once more, "Just hurry up and take it off. It's not as if I want to see you shirtless or anything."
Stuttering a bit he merely complied, "V-very well." Taking off the article of clothing and holding it out you were curious as to why she asked him to do that before catching sight of her drying off her hands on the fabric.
"I don't have a handkerchief, so go buy one for me. Also some stockings and Givenchy blush No. 2." Peering back at you as if to see if you'd follow, you stood between Mista and Fugo hearing her add on, "The stockings need to be reinforced at the thighs, get the latest issue of Italian vogue too, and some mineral water. I'd rather die than drink one that's not from France though."
Raising a hand and glancing over her nails she looked back up at the group, "When you're done gawking at the scenery, go buy that stuff for me." Beginning to walk off you merely stared at her back in shock, she didn't come off as that kind of person in the bathroom, but then again you only really just introduced yourself then complimented her.
Casting your gaze towards Fugo you couldn't help but laugh covering your mouth as the blond threw his coat down onto the ground angrily. "Don't laugh, that was humiliating!" Exclaiming that upon hearing you snicker he let out a grumble crossing his arms, the green jacket still rested against the floor.
"Oh no I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at the fact that I pinned her as the wrong type of person and it seems like she's not too fond of you guys." Ok, so maybe you were laughing a bit at him, but there was no way you were going to admit to it. "She was pretty nice to talk to in the bathroom so that's the only guess I have." Adding that and crouching down to swipe the jacket off the floor you held it at an arms length swatting at it as to knock off any dust or dirt.
"That's probably because you're a girl too, I mean girls are usually nicer to other girls." Crossing his arms and inputting that Narancia huffed. "That or we didn't leave the best impression." Yeah his last point seemed very likely.
I mean any girl would be uncomfortable if three guys were staring in through the women's bathroom doorway at them.
Giving a shrug you blew some hair out of your face, "Yeah that's probably the case, but anyways." Turning your attention back to the blond you maintained eye contact as to not have them wonder, "As much as I know you want to show off, I'd advise putting the jacket back on." Scrunching up your face at the end and waiting for him to take the jacket back you turned afterwards peering over your shoulder at the three. "Meet you guys back on the boat!"
Shifting your slow walk into a jog and passing by the other three, you slowed down just beside the pink haired girl. Her emerald hues paused on your form popping up in her peripheral before catching sight of the smile set out across your lips.
You wanted to try and befriend the girl, at least for the time that she'd be with the team. It also just felt like she needed this kind of thing as well.
Reading people came in handy once again and you could plainly see that she reminded you of yourself.
Put into a situation she didn't want.

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.
