Having your legs thrown over the back of the couch, the rest of your body hung upside down, a long sigh left your lips. That morning's events still weighed down your mind having been the one to explain everything since Mista was currently out of commission.
"Can you stop sighing already? You've done it several times." Moving your eyes away from the ceiling and towards the white haired man beside you, you merely sighed once more just to spite him. Though when he reached out tossing your legs forward off the couch did you let out a whine falling to the floor.
"Always so mean." Pushing yourself off the carpet and standing up your crossed your arms shaking your head at the man.
"Always so annoying." Using your own words against you but changing the last one he merely just rolled his eyes flipping the page of whatever magazine he was reading, your stand once again fluttering through the air before him occasionally landing on the page he was on.
Normally he'd make a comment about it and try to shoo it away, but you've noticed he didn't seem to mind the bugs presence lately and in fact even seemed calmer in it.
Clicking your tongue and looking around the room you could see that everyone else was in a calm or sleepy state. Fugo was reading much like Abbacchio though it was a paperback book presumably one of some sort of history since you'd taken notice that he was into that sort of thing.
Narancia was laying on the living room carpet practically out cold, he didn't really do much before falling asleep, but you simply pushed it off as the day feeling much longer than it really was.
Maneuvering yourself around the furniture and black haired boy, you trailed into the hallway. Mista's room was your destination recalling that the man had gone straight there instead of letting out check up on his injuries.

He did fall seven floors after all.
Stopping before his door and giving it a light knock you heard a muffled 'come in'. Pushing open the door and peering in you let out a hum catching sight of Mista laying face down on his bed, the light blue sheets were barely tugged over him and a mere grumble game from the man.
"You doing okay?" Asking that softly and closing the door behind you, you drifted closer towards the bed seating yourself just beside where he was laying. A hand was extended out after resting on his upper back and moving in a sort of comforting motion.
"Everything hurts." His words were muffled by the blankets but you understood what he was saying rather quickly, "I should've just gotten you to patch me up before trying to take a nap." Propping himself up a bit and rolling onto his back he blinked up at you.
"You should've, but I'm here now so let me fix you." Hearing you say that he nodded lightly, you were always quite gentle when it came to treating injuries. But that was to be expected from a medic.
Pushing himself up and shifting in place he chose to rest his head overtop your lap as opposed to on the bed, his eyes were closed the entire time so he was unable to see the flustered expression among your face from the action.
Feeling as though he did this to make things easier you softly tugged off his hat setting it aside and nestled your hands into his short brown locks. The same golden hue that appeared when you were helping Fugo made its appearance once more, the wisps weaving themselves through the mans hair before fading.
Absentmindedly playing with his hair as your stand did it's work, Mista could only just enjoy the comfort that both you and your stand provided. Your stand felt like a warm blanket being draped over him all the while relaxing every muscle in his body, anything that remotely hurt was quickly nullified leaving only a warm sensation in its wake.

You were quite similar to your stand in that sense, he always found that whenever he was around you he felt quite calm, almost falling asleep if he wasn't paying attention. You had an almost natural pacifistic aurora around you and it seemed as though you often provided the same warmth that your stand did.
Finishing up with fixing any internal damage you stared down at the man, his eyes remained closed and to your better judgment it appeared as though he'd fallen into a light sleep. Which was to be expected.
Shaking your head and giving a soft smile you brushed some of his hair aside before carefully lifting his head, shuffling out from underneath before resting it back onto the bed. Looking around the room for something to cover him up with you found a large orange fluffy blanket, one of which much like his bed sheets matched with his outfit.
Holding in a soft laugh and flicking it out over the man you turned slipping out of the room. It made you happy knowing that he could now take a break without being in pain every thirty seconds.
Reaching the living room rather quickly it seemed as though you arrived just in time for Bruno to have walked in. His demeanor much like always was posed yet relaxed, but there was something about him that gave you the feeling that something happened.
"Did you find out what happened to Leaky Eye Luka?" Calling that out from his seat Fugo placed a bookmark into the current page he was reading directing his attention towards the man, you were quite curious as well if whoever had done it was actually caught or even killed.
Shaking his head Bruno fiddled with the cuffs of his jacket briefly, "No. Didn't find anything."
A sneaking suspicion crept into your mind at that answer, he didn't seem like one to come back empty handed. Something must've happened, perhaps a fight? That sounded plausible and even if he was good at hiding injuries when it came to that sort of thing you had a keen eye.
"Though we are getting a new member tomorrow." Beginning to walk over towards his office, not waiting for anyone to respond he let out a hum. "So I expect you all to be on your best behavior."
Feeling the need to check up on the man you moved after him reaching out to tug the back of his jacket just as he reached his office door. "Oh uh sorry but are you alright? I mean like injury wise?" Quickly pulling your hand back and locking your hands together, you tapped your thumbs against one another hoping that your hunch wasn't wrong.
Blinking down at you for a moment he gave a quick chuckle, the corners of his lips craned upwards. "Why? Do you have a sixth sense that I don't know about?"
"Sure I mean if you want to call it that, but I mean if you're fine then why's that here?" Jutting your finger upwards towards the top of Bruno's head his gaze followed catching sight of your stand. The butterfly drifted around his head before landing on his open palm which was held outwards.
"You know, I almost forgot about it. It's always with Abbacchio after all." Realizing where he was getting at you softly shooed the insect out of his hand taking it between your own, everyone on the team seemed to have quite large hands compared to your own and Bruno's were really no different.
A luminescent hue once again radiated from your palm and gold strings curled up the man's arm. It was something he'd never really seen in action till now, but now bearing witness to it he could say it was definitely a rather beautiful and unique ability.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
