Swinging the door to the staircase open harshly it slammed against the wall, you sped through it without a thought descending the staircase at a quick pace. Your eyes focusing right away on a large round grey shaped object lingering on the landing.
The rock.
Craning your head to the side you could also catch a glimpse of a familiar white suit, the sight of which caused your heart to beat quicker seeing as he was much closer to the rock than you were. A flight of stairs currently stood between you and the ebony haired man who was moments away from touching the carved boulder.
"Wait! Don't touch that!" Yelling from the top of the stairs and taking a few steps before vaulting yourself over the railing you could feel yourself collide with the man knocking him back. Shots quickly followed zipping through the air and you could barely make out three bullets smacking into the knock knocking it down a flight.
"(Y/N)? Bullets?" Hearing the man's confused tone you quickly rolled off of him jumping to your feet, if not for the current situation you'd be as red as a tomato from having just tackled the attractive man.
"Hell yeah! Crisis averted!" Throwing your fists into the air and praising the Pistols as they let out a cheer as well, the rock now rested farther down the steps leaving a dent in the wall from the impact.
Yet all the excitement was short-lived seeing as the rock rolled over showing that it was unscathed, a grey ooze began leaking from it and worst of all was that it appeared to have been breathing now.
"I have a feeling we might've made things worse..." Number five broke out inter a nervous sweat while seven and six stared down at the rock in disbelief much like you did. You could've sworn it was destroyed, but then again Mista's bullets didn't do anything the first time so why would you assume they'd work now.
"(Y/N), Bullets. What in the world is going on here?" Staring at the rock as well you could catch Bruno's own expression taking the form of one in shock, he could believe what he was looking at. "Is that a stand?"
The rock although once unmoving began bouncing in place quickly jolting forward up the stairs towards the man next to you, the appearance of it looked much much bigger than before and everything Bruno said as well as his stands appearance went unnoticed as you once again shoved the man back. A gold dust like barrier grew before you causing the rock to bounce off of it and land beside the wall.

Mista had made an appearance at this point turning sharply on the platform just before the one you stood on, the man was out of breath but thankful that you and the bullets made it on time. "Bucciarati! You can't touch that rock!" Moving around the railing the gunslinger kept his gaze solely focused on the rock, gun still pointed straight at it. "If you lay even a finger on it, you'll die!"
"What do you mean?"
"We'll explain the details later!" Exclaiming that Mista moved hastily up the stairs jumping onto the rock as it once again tried to fling itself into the air. You remained in place planting yourself before Bruno like some sort of meat shield.
"Is that rock a stand?" Asking that you gave a quick nod confirming his question.
"It is, but we don't have time so get down the stairs before I have to shove you again." Your tone sounded serious, this wasn't really a time for questions.
"Get out of the building and get as far away as possible!" Adding onto what you'd said Mista's eyes widened quickly returning towards the rock watching as it sunk into the floor, his hands making a quick attempt to grab it simply resulting in nothing.
"It's gone!" Darting your eyes around the staircase looking for any signs of it a frantic feeling washed over you. Bruno was still unsure of what was happening but from the way you and Mista acted he could only assume it was a dire situation.
"Where the hell did it go?!" Throwing his own gaze around the room as well Mista scanned each corner as well as the staircase before throwing his gaze up, the rock's large form had begun phasing through the ceiling right above where yourself and Bruno stood.
"Watch out!" Shouting that out the ebony haired man acted faster than you did raising a hand and pushing you forward while ducking back himself through a zipper that appeared along the wall. Continuing with it's pursuit the stone ball pushed itself forcefully through the zipper.
Jumping up from the floor ready to hop back into action any words about to leave you lips were stilled as you watched Mista fling himself through the walls opening, following quickly although not jumping out you watched the scene unfold.
Cradling the rock in his arms and changing the trajectory away from Bruno he began falling quicker, holding the stone ball out before him and letting go the two parted from one another. The gunslinger landed on the roof of a car while the rock smashed into the sidewalk, watching the car swerve before crashing into the corner of a building a plume of smoke right away rose from it.

"Holy shit!" Starting at the accident in disbelief at what he'd done a switch was suddenly flipped in your mind reminding you of your position on the team. "Bruno! Help me down, I've got a smart idiot to help." Calling down towards the man still hanging along the side of the building he gave a quick nod extending a hand out towards you, which you gratefully accepted.
Keeping a firm grip on you as the two of you descended, your gaze quickly caught sight of Fugo who'd slipped out from the drivers seat of the car, drizzles of blood decorated the two injured men. Letting go of you once your feet made contact with the ground Bruno watched you jog over to the blond passing Mista who was up and walking.
"Fugo! You alright?" Calling that out and kneeling before the blond you reached out right away taking the man's head between your hands, a soft golden hue emanated from them giving off a soft subtle warmth.
Shaking his head softly and raising a hand to wipe at the blood dripping from his mouth a disgruntled sigh left his lips, "I mean I wasn't it expecting to rain idiots. What even happened?" Feeling your hands lightly graze the side of his face he directed his attention towards Bruno and Mista talking to one another.
"A lot, a lot happened. I tackled Bruno and knocked a guy out." Seemingly feeling quite calm about the whole ordeal you couldn't help but feel proud for acting as quickly as you did. It's not everyday you have to vault over a railing in order to save someone from a boulder predicting their death after all.
"I don't think I'd ever expect you to knock someone out, no offence." Stating that and watching you pull back raising back up to your feet a slight huff parted your lips at the comment. Extending a hand out to help Fugo up he gratefully took it dusting off his pants afterwards.
"None taken, I didn't think I could do it either but that guy was pissing me off." Walking towards the other two it seemed like Mista was making a very bad attempt at explaining what had happened by the sound of it.
"So was he an enemy or not? Was it suicide or not? Explain it all in a more orderly fashion!" Knowing that he could've just asked you those questions Fugo felt as though since Mista was already talking that he might as well just ask him.
"That's just it though..it's really uh...hard to sort everything in my head. Simply put, we destroyed the rock, so everything's over now." Crossing his arms and rubbing the side of his face Mista pursed his lips.
"That's really the gist of it and you probably can't think properly from the fall. You did fall from the seventh floor and onto a car roof after all." Pointing that out Mista nodded in agreement, it was a very plausible explanation to the lack of information given.
Letting out a hum at your comment Bruno turned beginning to walk off, he stated that he was going to look into the Leaky eyed Luka situation and that Fugo should be able to get a proper answer on what happened.
Though you'd probably end up doing most of the talking. Considering what Mista was rambling on to himself about.
"Do you really think I can understand what he was saying?" Justin a finger towards the gunslinger, Fugo let out a sigh in defeat. A laugh left through your own lips at the blonds comment and your gaze traveled towards Bruno catching the tail end of a smile spread out across his lips.
Hopefully destiny is wrong for once.

Bonus:
Staring out the window towards the small group walking off the injured purple haired man's gaze lingered over everyone before falling down onto the pile of dust.
He knew fate was inevitable, there was nothing as far as he knew that could change it.
So then why was it, that when the dust blew away what remained was a singular golden insect sitting atop small mounds of rocks.
The creature of which hopped off into the air fluttering through the air after the group. The rocks it once sat on blew away in the wind after.
Perhaps there was a chance. . .
