After the events of dinner everyone seemed to have parted ways and soon enough nighttime had rolled around. The team each split up heading to their respective rooms and calling it in for the night.
Well...everyone but you.
It seemed as though there was something on your mind keeping you away from the luxury that was sleep, but upon raking through your thoughts nothing in particular stuck out. Which led you to staring up at the ceiling for a good hour.
Your eyelids had yet to grow heaving, which led to your groans of frustration. Perhaps your body was subconsciously asking for something; water, maybe water. That sounded like a good guess and it wasn't like there was really anything else you could do or think of.
Throwing the covers off your body and slipping off the bed your feet came in contact with the cold flooring, raising off the bed and trailing towards the door you cracked it open peaking out into the hall.
The coast was clear.
Slipping out and padding your way towards the kitchen you remained as quiet as possible, though upon reaching the kitchen entryway your gaze met the sight of the fridge. It's open doorway just barely illuminated the figure crouched before it.
Now you wouldn't have recognized the person at a first glance if not for the familiar orange patterned pants, though the iconic blue sweater and hat were missing. "Wait you're a brunette?" Blurting that out you watched as the man turned back to face you, a slice of leftover pizza dangled from between his lips and without much thought you began scooting back into the hall, "Oh Uh I'll just...leave you be."
Once out of sight you turned making a b-line back to your room, a loudly whispered 'wait' sounded from behind you followed by the sound of the fridge slamming shut and quick steps.
Now this was when you started to pick up your pace unsure of what else to do till you were quickly tackled to the ground. A pained groan left your lips upon making contact with the floor, the brunette who'd just come bounding down the hall tackling you now straddled your back keeping his hands along your shoulders.

"Come on man, I could've just pretended I didn't see anything. You didn't have to go and tackle me." Hearing your muffled voice whine that out he let out a breath before standing up and stepping to the side.
"Sorry, it's a reflex." Rubbing the back of his neck embarrassed about what he had just done he offered you a hand seeing you roll onto your back, miscalculating how light you were he had tugged you up with more force than intended leading the two of you to collide.
"Reflex?! What kind of reflex-you're not wearing your sweater." Once again blurting that out although you were already aware of the last bit, you instantly felt embarrassed. It wasn't like you were purposely feeling the guy up or staring, it was just the fact you'd been pulled up so quickly and in your defense even if you were doing any of that. It wasn't like the sweater covered much to begin with.
"And you're not wearing pants." Blurting out his own thoughts the both of you flushed in embarrassment. Pushing away from him and gripping the edge of your shirt you raised the edge slightly correcting the comment, "I'm wearing pants. They're just short."
Now the two of you were both just standing in the hallway, flustered.
"Uh well anyways, what are you doing up so late?" hearing him ask that you clicked your tongue softly, your gaze flickering down the hall then back towards him.
"Couldn't sleep so I was going to get some water. What about you?" Asking a question back after answering you figured there must've been another reason he was lurking around the kitchen, "I mean besides raiding the fridge."
Giving another awkward laugh at that he once again rubbed the back of his neck, "Couldn't sleep as well." Responding with that he bobbed his head into a nod before adding on, "Why don't we stay up together? I mean like chat until one of us gets tired?"
"That doesn't sound too bad," Giving a hum at that and nodding at the idea both of you trailed back towards the living room, deciding to each take once side of the couch. "So what do you want to talk about?"

Staring over at the man your gaze trailed towards the short brown locks resting among his head drifting down afterwards to where his face was. The hairstyle fit him quite well and now upon seeing it, it made sense as to why it was so easily hidden beneath his hat.
"Aha well I mean I didn't think this far ahead." Admitting that he pursed his lips looking to the side for inspiration before snapping his fingers, "Oh, how about we ask each other questions or something? I mean you joined not too long ago."
Nodding at the idea you pulled your legs in resting your chin on top of them, "Alright then you go first. I'm open to answering any question." Insisting that your gaze met with his own and he let out a hum pondering over what to ask.
"Okay then, how about what your family does? Bucciarati mentioned it once but to be honest I don't remember much." Starting off with that you gave a nod understanding right away what he was curious about.
"Well my family's filled with doctors and nurses, we've been affiliated with Passione for such a long time that I don't even really know how long the (L/N) lineage has worked with them." Starting off with that you added on, "It'd make sense though to have people within the organization who are able to take care of members since mafioso's can't really go to hospitals." Making sure he was keeping pace with what you were saying you gave him a slight smile.
"Now my question, your stand. I'd like to know more about it if you don't mind." Wrapping your arms around your legs and asking that you awaited an answer.
"Oh well they're called Sex Pistols of course and they can control the bullets I shoot from my gun. Though they can be pests sometimes." Starting off with that he made a few hand motions, "They also help me reload and can gather information since they're pretty small. I would show them to you but they're sleeping."
Trying to imagine what they looked like you gave a hum nodding towards the part where he said they were asleep, "I hope to meet them at some point then." Stating that you gave a soft smile, the sincerity in your tone of voice had led Mista to smile as well.
"So how long have you had your hair this short?" Asking that you noticed him glance to the side almost timidly.
"For awhile. Why does it look weird?" Asking that he shifted in place before reaching behind him and pulling out his signature hat, you assumed it must've been in his pocket or something.
"Oh no no no not at all!" Exclaiming that albeit softly because of the time you waved your hands in the air shaking your head as to emphasize the 'no's. "I think your hair actually looks really nice! It suits you!" Insisting that you could tell he was still a bit unconvinced.
"I swear on my life it looks good!" Insisting that you once again waved your hands through the air before covering up a yawn, "Makes you look extra handsome." Now that seemed to catch his attention.
Maybe even stroke his ego a bit.
Wanting to hear that again Mista went to inquire about it before watching you make another attempt to cover up a yawn.
Maybe you hadn't realized what you'd said.
But he did appreciate your words and gave a soft smile catching you drifting off slowly,
"Thanks (Y/N)."

Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends
In the civilized world of humans, 'monsters' have all but passed into legend. But when something goes bump in the night, when people begin to disappear, when a dark mystery begins to haunt even the most peaceful villages, there is only one organization to turn to: the Hunters. The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Horrors yet unknown even to him and his many scars await in the claws, talons, fangs, and mysterious powers of creatures so far beyond humans that he must dedicate himself entirely to the art of slaying them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. Their motives, however, are not always what they seem.

Meeting myself
Canceled (This was my first attempt at a story and while I really enjoyed it, I lost track of the thread of the story. The MC was too op, and except for some fun slice of life moments it just wasn't a very good plot. Anyway, I may come back and re-write this in the future because I really enjoyed the premise, but for now don't expect updates.)I've never met Karma; or at least I think I haven't. Hope, really, because I'm pretty sure she hates me. You see, the thing is, I've always hated flying. When you don't wind up getting molested (cavity searched), then your bags get lost, or you spend the entire flight sitting next to a crying baby. This flight was even worse than any of those things. You see, this flight killed me. I won't spoil it, but lets just say, Karma owes me a few explanations. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, deserves to die like that. Of course, that wasn't the end of my adventure, far from it. But, you'll just have to read the story to learn about that.(This is a mature fiction, so far their hasn't been anything overtly bad (some minor sexual innuendo and drug use), but their will be plenty of blood, gore, sex, all that good stuff... eventually)
