Breakfast went by smoothly after everyone else had shown up, the two who'd come bounding in from the hall both had two servings of the fluffy pancakes while Abbacchio and Bucciarati took a more reasonable amount.
Each made a comment over how the food tasted merely adding to your pride as an amateur cook. Even Abbacchio had made a comment on how it wasn't 'awful' before taking a large mouthful.
That was certainly unexpected.
As everything was finishing up Bucciarati had called the group's attention, mainly addressing yourself and the white haired man as he spoke, "(Y/N), Abbacchio. A task was assigned to the team this morning to transport a few things. I doubt we will need everyone so myself along with Mista, Narancia and Fugo will be completing it." Stating that it seemed like right away the white haired man wanted to object, though with the gleam in their leaders gaze he remained quiet reluctantly nodding along.
"That would make sense seeing as it seems like it's a simple task." Humming that out and following it up with a not the dark haired man appreciated how you understood the task. Regardless though you weren't one to argue with people let alone someone like Bucciarati, the man had another side to him that you just weren't exactly feeling the need to challenge.
"Alright then, we will be back in a bit." Sparing a subtle wave the four of them left leaving you and Abbacchio. The man in question seemingly just spared a glance over to where you stood almost glaring with crossed arms.
"Perfect. Now I'm stuck babysitting you." Clicking his tongue in annoyance he rose from his chair almost all too aggressively pushing it back in. His head rolled from side to side for a bit followed after by his shoulders in a sort of stretch.
"Hey. I'm old enough to take care of myself." Objecting to what he's said you crossed your arm letting out a huff. The action closely relating to that of a child further proving that the man was indeed babysitting you.

Rolling his eyes and turning away he headed towards where the living room was, his gaze briefly trailing towards the windowsill where your stand rested, "If you need me I'm going to be taking a nap. Try not to make any noise or I'll bury you in the backyard." Merely rolling your eyes at his words, a hum of acknowledgement left your lips, your gaze also moving to catching sight of the golden winged insect pushing off the windowsill towards Abbacchio.
Fluttering a bit in the air just before the man he raised a hand lightly swiping it through the air, not hard enough to cause harm but enough to send some air at it in hopes of shooing it away.
To which seemed to only backfire as it dropped itself onto the top of the man's nose, a warm feeling quickly rushed through him upon contact and it was quite calming in a sense. Letting out a sigh his eyes trailed over it focusing on how it's wings idly move, before tilting his head back just enough to spot you munching on some leftover fruits.
"What's the deal with this thing? Why's it always landing on me?" Though his words sounded more like a demand you merely pursed your lips together leaning onto the kitchen island.
"Do you get headaches frequently?" Watching him give you an 'are you serious' kind of look the man held back an eye roll.
"As much as the next guy, but what does getting headaches have to do with your little friend?" Finding it a bit annoying that you just didn't explain right away the man grumbled a few things after, his eyes flickering back to the bug perched on his nose then back to you.
"Well, did you have a headache when you came in this morning?" Wanting to point out that you weren't making sense he paused for a moment, his head did feel much better since he'd initially come in and he knew for a fact that hangovers should at least last till late afternoon.

Crossing his arms he let out a huff, "I did, but it's gone now." Putting the pieces together quickly he added on. "Which leads me to assume that that's part of your ability."
He hit the nail right on the head there.
"You'd be correct with that assumption, though it doesn't only work on headaches." Simply stating that you noticed how his attention was still on you seemingly asking for a bit more of an explanation. "I like to think of it as a portable first aid kit, it helps out with a lot."
Nodding along to what you were saying the two of you grew quiet, your gaze peered over towards the glowing insect contrasting against the man's dark attire. "If it's bothering you I can-"
"It's fine. Just leave it." Cutting you off and shifting himself among the couch Abbacchio let out a deep sigh, he wasn't all too bothered with the butterfly situating itself on his face, in fact he seemed quite content with it.
Even if he seemed rather annoyed to have been stuck babysitting you he didn't find it as annoying as being stuck with Narancia. At least you seemed to have the common sense to respect what someone said, minus the fact your stand completely ignored personal boundaries.
Upon meeting you he didn't really think much about what you offered to the team, let alone if you'd be useful at all. You were very quiet at first, nervous even. He could plainly see the way you played with the sleeve of your cup or how you shifted in your seat whenever a question was asked.
But he also began to grow accustomed to how you acted as time went on. Sure he was aware you were intimidated by him, but who wouldn't be? It's not like he made an effort to engage in conversation let alone make himself seem less intimidating.
Yet regardless of that he would often notice you peering over, occasionally giving a slight smile upon seeing him interact with your stand. A stand did somewhat reflect their user's soul after all, so even if you didn't verbally or physically interact with him he could assume your stand being constantly around was your way of checking in.
It was...appreciated to say the least.
"Anyways. I'm going to take a nap, try not to make any noise." Nodding to what he'd said you smiled lightly, his tone of voice wasn't as harsh as before but you weren't about to point that out anytime soon.
Just simply take what was given and work with it.
Trailing out of the room and choosing to head back to your own, your eyes quickly flickered towards the window. Pursing your lips together you assessed the weather outside, it appeared rather nice and it was still bright and early after all.
Nodding to yourself as an idea came to mind you trailed around the room grabbing a few things before once again slipping back into the hall. This time around tiptoeing to make yourself as quiet as possible.
You figured the back door would be quieter and before slipping out you spared a glance towards the living room, your hand reached out to where some hooks along the wall were pulling off one of the sets of keys.
You never really had much time to see what was around, so you figured what better time than now?
It'll only be for a little bit and you'd be back by the time Abbacchio wakes up.
Surely.
