DEAR Juliet,

I'm the usual teenager: very moody and can't live a day with my phone or checking my social medias. But that's not my concern. It's about my friends. I feel like they're just pretending to like me. Never have I ever felt that I actually belong within them. I'm the one who's usually 'just there', you know? I'm the friend who's always there to listen to someone's problems but I'm also the person who no one else is there for. Which is why I always pay attention when people are saying something and always try to include everyone in the conversation. Because I know how much it sucks to be excluded and ignored. Is it normal to feel this way? Does this happen to you too? Should I confront them? Or distance myself? I don't know what to do. Please, I have no one else to turn to. Your advice would definitely help.

Sincerely,

Elinor

After reading the letter, she grabs her pen and a piece of pink paper to write back to her.

Dear Elinor,

Struggling about friendships is worse than relationships. What you feel about being left out is normal. One philosopher once said that rejection is the greatest fear of the adolescents. Teenagers struggles the most about socialization and seeks attention. There's always a time where you'll have these thoughts and feelings of confusion. Don't isolate yourself from them. Confronting them wouldn't be the best term. You should talk to them and you should hang out, all of you. Do the things all of you would likely to enjoy together. When you're with them, you wouldn't feel any loneliness or dullness for you would be distracted but their silly jokes. The fear of being left out inside of you will be ignored for you are deafened by your own melodious laugh, you wouldn't remember that fear of yours. You just don't have to overthink things. As much as possible, don't be alone to avoid doing so. If you feel like they're pretending to like you, think of it that they may actually really like you and without pretension. Live life with positive vibes.

Love,

Juliet

"Feeling better?" Zoe welcomes her with that question, making Starr look up from what she's writing with an appreciating smile.

"Much." She answers.

"How was your weekend?"

She shrugs. "Uneventful."

"Really? How about my offer? That still stands up until you take it..." Zoe ponders out loud.

Starr giggles. "What's that?"

"To go to the Giardino Giustini with me!" She exclaims unexpectedly that made Starr put up her index finger in front of her lips. Zoe covers her mouth but removes it again when the people who stared at them looked away.

"You haven't gone with someone else?"

"No. You have a good eye. I want IG-worthy pictures so you're the best companion I want to have." She states that made Starr laugh softly.

"I may be free this weekend."

"Really?!" She claps her hands together out of joy when Starr nods. "Oh, we're gonna have so much fun! Right after, we'll go to Lake Garda, Sirmione and Rocca Scaligera. Then to Rome, Florence, Venice... Ohh! And also in Tolentino, Dolomites..."

"Zoe..." Starr starts in a sing-song tone. "One at a time."

Zoe shrugs then goes back to her table. Starr shakes her head with a smile on her lips and goes back to work. She folds her letter and put it inside of a pink envelope. She licks the top of the envelope and closes it then finishes it with a red wax seal with a cursive letter 'J' design on it. After setting aside the finished letter, she proceeds to read the next one.

Looking back at her past, she would never see herself working her dream job in her dream destination. It all felt surreal at first but she realizes that she worked really hard just to reach where she is right now and the happiness she feels whenever she does what she do adds to the thought that she's loving her dreamy life.

Later than that, Cosima catches everyone's attention. They all divert their eyes on her.

"As you may have known, last week we met Harry Styles." She starts and everyone nods. "Now, it's pretty evident that he's taking up a liking on us for he had spoken highly of us to his contacts."

Everyone applauds at the statement. The Juliet's Club rarely gets someone to be part of it. One of the best exposures they had is the movie, 'Letters to Juliet' which resulted to many media outlets to give them an opportunity to showcase their beauty. But that was a few years ago. So a big recognition like a celebrity who has a lot of power nowadays is a big deal for them.

"Now, unfortunately he can't make an appearance today..." Most girls at the young age express their sorrow loudly that made the rest laughed and chuckled. "But he sent the best person he can send."

Cosima invites her in and she comes out then stands beside her, making Starr's eyes widen.

"His mom, Anne Cox-Twist!" She introduces her. Everyone gave her a round of applause while she lowers her head to hide.

"Good day t'all! Or should I say, Buon giorno!" Anne greets softly, making everyone respond with the same calm tone to her.

It doesn't get any better for Starr. For Cosima offers to introduce her to them one by one. She's nervous. First, the almost comeback encounter last week and now this. Does this mean that it's finally time?

"Also one of our youngest and best writers." Cosima starts and they finally reach in front of her. "Her name is Starr del Luna."

Starr slowly stands up while her head is still lowered.

"Ms. del Luna, wonderful name." Anne compliments.

Cosima clears her throat and addresses Starr. "Starr, non essere scortese."

She take deep breaths quietly and slowly looks up at Anne. She tuck some strands of her now ginger hair behind her ears to show her face.

"Starr..."

"Mi dispiace." She apologizes to Cosima then fully faces Anne. "Buon giorno, Ms. Twist."

Surprise took over Anne's entire face and slowly brings her hands to cup Starr's face.

"Vesper?"

She didn't care about anyone around nor the surroundings. Anne automatically wraps her arms around Starr holds her tightly. Expressing the longing feeling she had felt when she left and Start felt it. When Starr pulls away, there were tears on both of Anne's eyes.

"Vesper..."

"Oh no, please don't cry." Starr worries while wiping the tears away from her cheeks.

Anne chuckles and looks back to a very confused Cosima. "M'sorry but could I talk to 'er fo' a while?"

Cosima looks at Starr and nods. "You can take your break now, Starr."
