I sit and type

I type and sit

Thinking silent thoughts

Of what to do next in life

And what my life has brought

Of kindness and sorrow

And what that sorrow brings

For sometimes it is happiness

Strangest of all things

And how some bad things turn to good

And happiness isn’t always happy

But not everything is how it should

Things aren’t always how they seem

But no matter what

I’ll try to stay
