It’s green hue hypnotized
Brought me closer with its disguise
At a foot away still perfect
Perfectly beautiful
Beautifully perfect
But take a step closer
And it’s true form is revealed
It is jagged, uncut
It’s a gem, but merely a jagged jade
Nothing is perfect
Fame is but the idolization of the jagged jade
