So I try to live

Yet each week remains
Rather bleak

For I blindly climb the mountain
Without seeing the peak

Yet my dreary days
Are void of fun
So I give up on living month to month
A never ending maze
You can't escape once you've begun
So I try to live
Year to year
But the bicycle
Has but one gear
So I give up on living year to year
But I can't just keep waiting
For excitement to appear
If I can't live
Year to year
Month to month
Week to week
Or day to day
Then I know it's time
To make a change
Add some excitement
In little ways

Vee Vales has been kicked out of his home and directed to make his own way in the world. Along with his friend Alforde Armorsoul, Vee travels to the city of Oar's Crest. It’s in the first-person perspective and has its own quirks, characters, and world for you to become immersed in. The upload schedule for this will be different from the usual fictions on this site: I’ll release chapters in batches rather than so many a week. I’m a college student, so I don’t want another deadline to worry about. Depending on the popularity/demand of the series, I might increase or decrease the rate of releases.
