I call myself foolish

I think I'm insane

And why on earth would

I let you cheat on me again?

We are lovers & friends

All rolled into one

How many people have this?

I think close to none...

My feet are ugly

And so are my hands

My heart is pure

But it doesn't stand a chance...

My tees are cheap

And my shoes are too

I know me sporting them

Have embarrassed the heck outta you...

You tell me everything

About every woman you meet

The more I think about them

The more I feel incomplete...

Each one of them

Are beautiful gals to see

What on earth

Could you possibly see in me???

Ex & Y's waltz into your life

I am just a bystander

Taking everything

In my stride...

If one is depressed

The others are content

And all of them want to share

These events with you my friend

I call your number

And hope and pray

There's no match or woman

That would come my way today...

But luck is something

I've only read in books

I don't know what it means

Cause it's always played the crook...

You say "I'm busy babe"

I'm out with someone tonight

And if you've called to complain

I just don't have the time...

We set sail on this ship

With no destination in mind

Then why the heck am I complaining?

I don't have the right to whine...

I laugh at myself

Cause I know this is true...

You just pity me

And I simply love you...

You hate the mush

The emotions that smother

If you had it your way

You would ask me not to bother...

But no matter where you go

No matter what you do

The truth and the fact remains

That I will always love you...
