It was only a matter of a day or two that I tried to find you,

when I got your call and was happily surprised!

Since then, our emails have been short and to the point,

because I know you are not one to write.

I have enjoyed the phone calls we have shared,

reminiscing of our past and getting to know each other

again in the present.

We have talked about spending time together.

I am very excited yet also a little nervous,

I am not exactly the same as I was back then.

Will I look the same in your eyes,

as I am sure, you will, in mine?

I am anxious to see you again,

as I hope you are to see me.
