the room door opened with force and axel stepped in like it was his room, he raised a brow and looked at me making me close the book I was reading

"there is something called knocking"

"I'm not sure I'm familiar with that" he said and I shook my head while smiling

"I don't know since when we do family meetings, I didn't even know it was a thing but mom needs us down right now" he said

"I'm included?"

"what are you talking about? Of course" he said

"AXEL! AND AMELIA!" Renee yelled

"FOR GODS SAKE MOM! WE'RE COMING!" Axel yelled before looking at me and sighing

"That's the first time I heard her yell at you" I laughed

"you can wait Renee, they're coming" we heard Antonio said

I walked out with axel "are they okay now? Like completely?"

"yeah I guess, saw them making out when I came from school" he said his face showing disgust making me laugh

"and you? did you guys talk?"

"just told him that it's big that easy to forgive him, it'll take some time"

"at least you are trying and not being selfish for the first time" I said with grinning

"maybe" I said before I started running knowing that he'll start tickling me

"You think you can get away?" I heard axel yell behind me

I ran into the living room making both Renee and Antonio look up

"why are you both running?" Renee asked "and took you long enough"

axel took couple of steps toward me making me run behind Renee

"TAKE A SEAT! Are you both children? Because you're acting like one!"

"It's called fun mom" axel said trying to catch me

"That's not fun! You're tickling me! And you don't even know what fun is!" I yelled

"Take that back now or you'll be regretting it" axel smirked

"I swear if you don't take a seat now, you won't like what'll be coming!" Renee scolded

"Don't" I whispered to axel stepping Away from him before sitting next to Renee

Axel laughed before taking a seat "can we know what was all the yelling about? and what is this family meeting? And since when do we do it?"

"shut up, I'm going to talk and you both are going to listen!" Renee said as me and Axel looked at each other trying to hold our laughters back

"Geez Renee we didn't say anything"

I saw Antonio look away with a smile on his face trying to not laugh

"So me and Antonio talked, it's been a while since we went on a vacation" she started

"don't tell me we're going somewhere" axel said as his mother sent daggers to his way

"Yes Mr. Axel, we are finally going to a family vacation"

"What? No! Me and Amelia are going to Canada"

"What? And since when did you decide that without me knowing?" Renee asked

"We decided it together with our friends, we're spending some time there and we'll be back on Christmas" axel explained

"you're not going anywhere! This is the first time since a while we're going on a vacation together!" Renee said

"No mom , I'm going with my friends"

"Do you think I care what you think? I'm not taking a no from you" Renee said

"mère, non mi stai spaventando" axel said as he laughed making his mother frown

although, I didn't understand

"Renee, why don't you and Antonio go alone?" I asked as her face lit up

"Go alone with Antonio, on a second honeymoon maybe, you both alone. That's alright with you Antonio right?"

"Of course, as long as I'm spending time with them" Antonio agreed

"But what about Valerie?" she asked

"Mom you could manage it, your friends, they love her, her baby sitter- I mean sitters" Axel said "stop making that a big deal"

"You jerk, we both know you're agreeing on this because you want to go with your friends" Renee said as we laughed

"we'll be back on Christmas mom so we'll still spending it with you" axel said

"Plus I need to be back for Bryce, maybe spend some time with him" I said

"is that alright with you darling?" Antonio asked as Renee nodded

"Of course! That'll be amazing" she smiled

"and mom, there's no such a thing called family meeting" axel said with chuckling before his mother took her fancy slippers off and threw it on him

"Nice throw" he teased

"Stop messing with you mother kid" Antonio said as axel shrugged

"Idiot" I laughed

"you both seem to be very close, something I never thought I'd see" Antonio said catching our attention

"yeah we're friends"

"friends?" Renee asked before she and Antonio burst into laughters making me and Axel look at them confusedly

"You both friends? Friends only?" Antonio rose a brow with a smirk on his face

"You sure about that?" He asked

"Dad I'm not talking about my love life with you" Axel said a faint blush appearing on his cheek

"Aha! You should've said friendship but you chose the word love life" his dad pointed making axel groan

"Well I'm out of here" I said as they laughed

"she remind me of a younger me" Renee said

"No no I don't remind you of anything because I know what you're going to say" I said as she laughed

"Val baby come, let your parents alone because they're making this awkward" I said before picking her up

"Aren't you gonna go with your friend?" Antonio asked emphasizing the word

Axel rolled his eyes making his parents laugh

It was nice seeing them getting along for the first time in forever

I smiled at them before going into val's room, placing her on the floor

"now tell me Ms. Valerie, what should we play?" I said as I pinched her cheek

"That one!" She giggled

"Here you go baby" I said handing her the toy

I got distracted using my phone before I noticed that Val wasn't sitting in front of me

"Val?" I turned and found her laying on her stomach and looking under the toy shelf

"Val baby what are you doing?" I laughed as I tried to pick her up but she was refusing and shaking her head

She layed down on her stomach once again and looked down

"Let me see" I said as I looked under the shelf and found a frame

"What's that?" I questioned as I grabbed it and sat next to her

she giggled excitedly before I turned the frame and it all hit me when I saw a picture of Gianna

I think I might cry

"Gigi!" She pointed

I felt my heart melt when I heard her say that

"Oh god baby, yes, yes that your sister Gigi. She's looking over you now and I'm sure that she loves you so much and misses you too"

Valerie grabbed the frame from my hand and placed a sloppy kiss to the picture

"You'll make me cry now, I know for a fact that you'll have the biggest heart and be that bundle of joy just like your sister. I mean I never met her but that's what I heard" I smiled as I kissed val's cheeks

"thank you" I heard Axel's voice making me look up, he had his body rested on the door border, a smile plastered on his handsome face

"AXY!" Val yelled when she saw him

"for what?" I asked raising a brow

"Many reasons to count" he smiled "you're amazing I hope know that"

"and I hope you date her" I heard another voice from behind axel

axel groaned "mom can you please stop"

"not until you both date" she grinned

"Mom please you're making things awkward"

"You are Renee" I agreed with axel

"You think I care? You're both my kids" she laughed as we rolled our eyes

"I just wanted to tell you that I'm going shopping, come with me, maybe get you new things"

"Yeah sure definitely need that" I said

"You both enjoy, I'll visit the guys" Axel said

"no you're driving us" Renee said

"No mom! I'm not going anywhere! And I'm not driving you because I know I'll end up waiting for 5 hours!" Axel said making me laugh "bye Axel's not here anymore"

Axel ran out of the room

"That child" Renee shook her head while laughing
