His lips were a drug, whenever my lips were attached to his, I was addicted.
~ Natalie James's POV ~
"Okay, this episode, Ashtray and Maeve are going to have their first kiss."
The director said, I nodded slowly and smiled slightly.
I was nervous, we've been working for about two weeks now.
We had episode 1-3 done, it was time for episode 4 and I was shaking in my boots.
Angus walked up to me and hugged me, he rubbed my back and gave me a reassuring smile before walking off the set.
Jaden came over and kissed my forehead, we hugged for a bit and let go.
It was now time for the kiss scene, Javon hugged Lola before walking onto the set.
I hated it, I hated them and most specifically I hated her.
"You shouldn't be here Maeve, you know we aren't good for each other."
The acting was good, I felt like we were having a real conversation.
I walked closer to Javon, we were in front of the store.
He moved back and rolled his eyes, I had to remind myself it was just acting.
"You know that we both want each other."
I replied, he looked at me and I felt myself blushing.
It would show much but I felt it, Javon slowly moved closer.
Placed his hand around my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck, we were really close.
I felt his minty breath on my lips but I had too keep my cool, he leaned in slowly.
"You can't stay away from the things that are bad for you, can you?"
He asked, his eyes flickering to my lips then to my eyes and back again, it was just like how Jaden did when we first kissed.

I looked at him and did the same, taking a deep breath before responding.
"You're a drug dealer, I'm a drug addict. We both know the answer to that."
After that sentence, we leaned in and our lips connected.
It felt just right and nothing could change that, I pulled away only for him to pull me back in.
I had to remind myself it was just acting and that he didn't feel the same things I did.
We kissed for another minute or two before the director called cut.
Before he could say anything to me, I was already gone and out of the set.
That was the last scene I had for the day, I was in my trailer when I heard a knock at the door.
Soon came in Jayla, she had a smile on her face.
She sat beside me on the couch and rubbed my back, I didn't know what I was supposed to say or do.
"You love him, I know you do."
Jayla finally said, breaking the silence.
I nodded slowly, I felt like I was just harming myself more.
We spoke about him for a bit, I had to get everything off my chest.
The dream I had about him, the Veronica problem and just everything.
Jayla sat there and listened, she gave her opinions and made sure I was okay.
I smiled at her and hugged her tightly, she was a great best friend.
"Jayla, can I tell you a secret?"
I said in a whisper tone, she nodded slowly and I scooter towards her.
I took a deep breath and thought about what I was going to say for a minute.
His lips were a drug, whenever my lips were attached to his, I was addicted.
Jayla smiled and rubbed my back some more, she supported my choices and never once questioned me about it.

It was getting late, Jayla left my trailer and left me with my thoughts.
All I thought about was the kiss scene, it was more than just a scene but it felt like we've been destined to do it.
I would do it all over again even if it meant it had to be just a scene, he made me happy.
I put on my pajamas and brushed my teeth, I laid in bed.
What if Lola never met Javon, would I be the one in his dreams?
I was desperate to know, I felt like I deserve to know since I went through so much trouble trying to get rid of those feelings.
I lied awake that night, thinking of what relationship we would have been in if he never met Lola.
But I guess, we'll never know.
