Maybe in your eyes I just seem like some ungrateful person but in mine, in mine I've dealt with more than I can handle.
~ Natalie James's POV ~
It was finally the day to of the audition and I was so nervous, my alarm woke me up at seven.
I went to my bathroom, brushed my teeth, took a shower, washed my hair and did my skin care.
I looked in the mirror and took a deep breath, so many things ran through my head at this moment but I had to snap out of it.
I grabbed mom jeans, a white short-sleeved shirt and a sage green hoodie.
I put on my white high tops and went over to my vanity to do my make up and hair.
I went simple and put my hair in a ponytail, I only add light blush, mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss.
I looked at the clock and it was only 8:12 AM, I had enough time to get something to eat and to drop by the gym to see if there was another note.
Everything's been so busy that I hadn't had time to go to the gym to write back or read.
I walked downstairs and grabbed a banana, I grabbed the car keys and drove to the gym.
I went straight to my locker and opened it, there was a gorgeous lavender note.
He listens to the little things...
I thought to myself as I grabbed the lavender envelope, I walked out of the gym and drove back home.
I looked at the clock and it was 8:27 AM, I parked the car and opened the door to Garrett drinking a strawberry-banana smoothie.
"Hey Gare, slept well?"
I asked as I walked next to him with a soft, warm smile.

He returned the smile and nodded, he was texting Val and I wasn't about to third wheel so I left the dining room.
I ran upstairs and walked into my room, grabbing my loose leaf and an orange glitter pen.
I opened the note and began reading, smiling to myself.
I truly felt myself falling in love with my Secret Admirer, though I had no idea who it was.
Depends on what's the occasion, but yes I would.
Mohammad Ali and Mike Tyson are my favorites actually.
I definitely feel a connection between us, do you?
That's your question of the day, love.
Love, Your Secret Admirer
Yeah, it was short but the nickname was everything.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel a connection between us but since he was so brave to put it out there, I decided to put it out there as well.
I do feel a connection between us, I mean I'd be lying if I said I didn't.
I wasn't even expecting to feel it since we're anonymous.
Also, thank you for using my favorite color.
Question of the day for you is what's your favorite color?
Love, The One You're Admiring
I put the note in the envelope and ran downstairs, I had my phone in hand and grabbed the keys.
It was now 8:56 AM, Garrett grabbed his wallet and phone and followed me out the house.
I had written the location of where the auditions were being held last night, so I followed the directions on Google Maps.
We were jamming out to Girl in Red, The Neighborhood and Wallows.
I checked the time and it was only 9:13 AM, I was praying we get there early.
I didn't want to be late to an audition Javon set up for me.

We finally got there, I parked the car and got out.
My nerves were acting up, I couldn't stop thinking about how all of this could go wrong.
I mean, Garrett would probably get the part cause he's an amazing actor, but me?
No way, I never took classes.
As we got there, we were given numbers.
My number was #36 and Garrett's were #37.
I went on my phone and scrolled through Instagram, I continued to wait for my number to be called.
"Uhm, number 36! You're turn."
I took a deep breath and got up from my seat, I looked at Garrett.
He gave me a thumbs up and a warm smile, I walked with the lady who guides me to a room.
There was the director, the producers and writer.
I gave them a warm smile and stood in the middle of the room which was where they told me to be.
"What's your name and age?"
The director, Morgan Allen, asked softly.
"Natalie James Arthur, I'm fifteen years old."
I answered calmly, I was trying to mask my anxiety.
The director handed me a script to read from.
"Alright, Maeve, you think you're a tough girl huh?"
The director read from his script, I took a deep breath and decided it was time to just let loose and be myself.
"I don't think I am, I know I am."
I answered confidently, the director smiled at me and continued to read.
"Oh please, you're just a little girl who was found doing the wrong things and tried to act cool about it."
"And you're just a sad old man who obviously can't mind their business, didn't you mess around with a teenager and almost get caught?"
"You don't know what you're talking about Maeve, drugs messed your brain up."
"Nothing but a bad life messed me up, you of all people should've known that.
Cal."
I'll be honest, I was surprised with how I was saying all of these things without stuttering.
But I couldn't think about that now, I had enough time in the house to think about it.
"You're ungrateful, that's all you were and all you ever will be."
Maybe in your eyes I just seem like some ungrateful person but in mine, in mine I've dealt with more than I could handle.
I smiled with myself as I gave the script back to the director.
"Can I get your phone number, I'll give you a call in a week from now to notify you if you got the part or not."
I nodded and gave them my phone number.
I walked out of the room feeling proud and confident with myself, I watched as Garrett came out of a room too.
We got into the car and drove home, we were both proud of ourselves.
But now it was time to wait and pray we got the part.
