And then we heard it.

A crack.

A single crack which had all of us up on our legs.

And then another crack followed the first one. And another. And another.

And then a head popped out with the tiniest and cutest little growl I've ever heard.

"Aww..." All of us said at the same time.

There was a loud thud and I immediately spotted Matt passed out next to Kayda.

Nice one bro...

Then the rest of the shell broke and the little baby dragon came out.

"Awww..." All of us said again at the same time.

Kayda moved her head toward the baby and gently nuzzled her head on the baby's head. The baby growled excitedly in return.

Oh my God! I can't with this cuteness!

The baby then approached Matt and started sniffing him.

"That's right cutie. Unfortunately, that's your dad." Lyla said with a sigh, which made all of us laugh.

"But what's the baby's gender?" I asked excitedly.

Kayda looked at me for a second and then looked at the baby for a moment. Then she looked at Blaze and nodded her head.

"It's a girl." Blaze said with a megawatt smile.

Lyla and I screamed in excitement and hugged each other.

"It's a baby girl~ It's a baby girl~" We chanted endlessly, the excitement never leaving us.

"Okay, calm down. Unless you also want to give birth." Blaze said in amusement as he put his hands on Lyla's shoulders to stop her from jumping.

"Noo! Let me go! I'm celebrating now!" She immediately whined, but Blaze was not falling for it.

"Congrats sis. I can already see she's going to be exactly like you." Draco said with a smile as he looked at the baby who was now jumping on top of her passed out dad.

We laughed and celebrated some more and after some we time decided to leave, so Kayda and Matt could have some alone time with their baby girl.

"You are coming with me." Lyla said and suddenly pulled me with her.

"Lyla!" Blaze called out.

"I'll be back in a bit." She said as she continued to pull me.

"What is it?" I asked in confusion.

"You'll see." She said mischievously.

What is she planning now...

Lyla pulled me into a dark and unfamiliar room and closed the door.

"Lyla?" I said in confusion, because I couldn't see anything.

But then she suddenly turned the lights on, blinding me for a few seconds. Once I could see, I looked around the small room and noticed endless catalogs, papers, magazines and so on, scattered all over the room.

"What the hell is this place?" I asked in confusion as I looked around.

"This place is where Kayda helped me decide what to wear when I decided I was ready to bond with Blaze." Lyla answered excitedly.

"Really?!" I asked with wide eyes.

"Yup. And Kayda will come here as soon as she and Matt finish moving the baby to their room." She added.

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.

Finish moving the baby?

"The baby is running all over the place ever since they left the cave, so they're having some difficulties right now." She explained with a chuckle.

Oh boy. I can tell she's going to give us all bad headaches in the future.

Then the door suddenly opened and Kayda walked in with her baby on top of her head.

"Hey girls." She said in exhaustion.

I ran up to her and hugged the living shit out of her. She was quick to wrap her arms around me too.

"I missed you!" I said excitedly.

"Me too! I can't explain how frustrating it was not being able to talk to you." She said as she hugged me tighter.

Then I heard a tiny growl which made me look up. The baby was looking at me curiously and swinging her tail left and right.

"Hi cutie~" I said in a baby voice and took her in my arms.

She immediately started to lick my face, which made me chuckle. Lyla approached us and started to tickle the baby.

"How are you going to name her?" Lyla asked.

"Scylla." Kayda answered with a megawatt smile.

"I like it. It has a nice ring to it." Lyla said as I rubbed Scylla under her chin.

Scylla purred in delight and started to rub her head on my hand.

Aww... My heart...

"Will she remain as a dragon until she's an adult or?" I asked as Scylla climbed up my arm and on top of my head.

I see she's fond of heads.

"She should be able to shift in her human form in about a year or so since dragons grow really fast until they reach a certain age." Kayda explained and I nodded my head.

So we'll be able to see this cutie's human form very soon.

"And now..." Kayda began in a weird voice and looked at me.

Why is she looking at me like that?

"Are you out of you mind?!" She yelled angrily and punched my arm.

"Ow! What was that for?!" I said in a pained voice.

"You made my brothers lose their minds for the past three months. My brothers, who are fucking royals! Kings of a horde! Do you know what that means?!" She continued to yell.

I wanted to say something, but she interrupted me.

"You're lucky you're not pregnant by now." She stated which made my eyes widen.

"Pregnant?!" I yelled in astonishment.

"Yes pregnant. A royal dragon's urges are way stronger compared to a normal dragon. I'm really wondering how they managed to hold themselves for so long." She explained.

"Well, they won't hold for long, so we better get everything ready so you can finally end their suffering tomorrow." Lyla said which made me chuckle.

"Yes. Chuckle as much as you can. But once you start mating, don't expect to come out of your room for at least three days." Kayda said with a smirk.

I could feel all the blood draining from my face.

It won't be that long right? Right??
