《Theirs》Chapter 33

...

"Wha..." I tried to say, but couldn't.

I felt that clearly, right? They just kissed me. Right?

I slowly looked at Tharion, then at Draco in confusion.

"Morning Katie." They said at the same time, megawatt smiles stretched across their faces.

"Wha..." I tried to speak again, but my mouth refused.

"We're pretty sure you remember you gave us permission to kiss you, so prepare yourself." Draco said playfully.

"You'll be getting more than just good morning and goodnight kisses starting today." Tharion added with a smirk.

"Wha..."

Why can't I say anything?! Stupid mouth!

"I think we broke her." Draco said as he moved his face in front of mine.

Tharion chuckled slightly and placed his head at the crook of my neck, leaving a gentle kiss there.

"You okay love?" He whispered as he gently rubbed my thigh.

I was almost okay. Now I definitely am not.

"Can I have my friend now?" Lyla suddenly asked.

That broke whatever spell these two cast on me. I quickly pushed them away and got up. Then I ran around the table and hid behind Lyla.

"Thanks Lyla." I said with a sigh of relief.

A minute longer and I would've been a goner.

But when did she even arrive?

"When did you-"

"About fifteen minutes ago. But these two had you under their spell you didn't even notice." She answered before I even finished my question.

I looked at my mates and sure enough, they were glaring at Lyla.

"You interrupted us." Tharion growled in annoyance.

My eyes widened.

I think this is the first time I saw him this annoyed.

"That was not very nice Lyla." Draco added in the same tone.

"Well I've been asking for my friend for the past fifteen minutes, but you refused to give her to me." Lyla argued back.

"Lyla, let's go. I don't trust myself around them right now." I mumbled behind her.

She smirked at me and I knew right away I'll never hear the end of it. She intertwined our arms and pulled me with her.

"Lyla." Draco growled in protest.

"Bye~" She sang and opened the door.

Then we walked out and headed to God knows where.

"Thanks Ly." I said with a sigh of relief.

"No problem. But you my friend are in big trouble." She said mischievously.

"Why?" I asked in confusion.

"You're gonna crumble faster than me." She said.

"What?" I asked, still feeling confused.

"I'm talking about your mates Kate. You're already smitten by them. I wouldn't be surprised if you put on a wedding dress in less than a month." She said playfully.

"What?! Hell no! No fucking way!" I immediately protested.

Me? Wear a wedding dress in less than a month?! Fuck no!

"I'm just saying. If Blaze hadn't been an asshole when we first met, I probably would've married him a lot faster." She said with a smirk.

I looked at her with wide eyes.

Is she serious right now?

"Once Blaze became who he is now, I can't even count the amount of times I was so close to a heart attack." She said with a chuckle. "I don't know if you've noticed, but dragons are really affectionate when it comes to their mates." She added.

"No, I haven't. The heart problems I'm probably developing right now aren't telling me at all." I said sarcastically.

How can anyone not notice that?!

She smirked at me.

"I guess I should be preparing a dress for you then." She said playfully.

"Shut up. I'm not going to marry them that soon." I grumbled and glared at her.

There's no way I'll willingly give myself to them in less than a month. No. Fucking. Way.

...

I shouldn't have told her...

"I told you so! I told you so!" Lyla yelled excitedly.

I sighed in frustration.

"Just admit it. She was right." Kayda said with a smirk.

"You too? Really?" I said in annoyance.

"We have to start planning right now." Lyla said and started taking out some catalogs from her drawers.

Ugh...

You might be wandering what's happening right now.

Well, after Lyla's declaration about my marriage, it's been exactly twenty-three days since than, and I just told her and Kayda that I might be ready to marry Tharion and Draco. And now she's having a frenzy all over her room.

And how did I decide?

Easy.

For the past three weeks Tharion and Draco were the most caring mates I've ever seen. They even topped Blaze's affection for Lyla and I thought he was the best at it.

They always put my needs first, even though I told them countless times not to. They took care of me like I was some precious jewel that would break at the slightest touch. Of course, they would be playful at times, giving me those annoying sparks I somehow grew fond of, but I was secretly enjoying it when they were like that.

And don't get me started on the heart problems I definitely developed. One second we're all playful, and in the next their mouths are all over me. How? I have no idea. But we never went all the way. I think they could feel I wasn't ready yet and they respected that. Which, of course, made me fall for them even more.

"Here. Now let's see." Lyla said, stopping my train of thoughts, and placed the catalogs on the table in front of us.

I grumbled in annoyance because she pulled me out of my happy place and took one of the catalogs.

It may be a bit too early for this, but I've never been so sure in my life. Hell. Kayda and Matt got married three weeks ago. Literally a day after Lyla teased me about marriage. You can probably guess how that happened.

The faces Tharion, Draco and Blaze made once they announced their marriage were priceless. I still laugh whenever I remember it. And although it was a big surprise for all of us, Kayda and Matt quickly showed us they didn't make a mistake. Which I'm really glad about because I've never seen Matt this happy.

"Stop daydreaming and look!" Lyla scolded me, pulling me out of my thoughts yet again.

"Let her be Lyla. I bet she's more excited than you. She's just hiding it." Kayda said with a smirk.

And that was true. Although I'm not really showing it, I feel like my heart will soon explode from how excited and nervous I am.

"You got lucky this time." Lyla threatened while rubbing her two months pregnant belly.

But it looked like she was almost five months pregnant. Luckily, the doctor said the baby stopped growing fast and is now growing at a speed a human baby would. But because of the sudden growth of the baby at the beginning of her pregnancy, she'll probably be giving birth in about four months.

"Okay, let's see. This one-" Kayda began with her choice of dresses, but stopped out of nowhere.

"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly, because she suddenly cringed and clenched her belly with her hands.

"Kay..." Lyla said slowly.

Kayda suddenly stood up and started running toward the door like her life depended on it. I also stood up and started running after her.

"Call the boys. I think something's wrong with her." I quickly told Lyla and she nodded.

I bet she'd be running after us too if she wasn't pregnant.
