《Theirs》Chapter 24

They were looking at me expectantly, all the while having puppy faces. I don't know if they're doing it on purpose, but it's having a big effect on me.
"You're not playing fair." I mumbled and tossed myself on my bed.
"What do you mean?" They asked at the same time.
I glared at them for a second and then covered my eyes with my arm.
"Fine..." I mumbled quietly.
"What? We didn't hear you. Can you repeat that?" Draco teased.
I removed my arm from my eyes and glared at him. Draco had a playful smirk on his face and Tharion was sporting a boyish grin on his face.
"I said fine." I said clearly this time. "I'll move in with you. But just because of Lyla, Blaze and their baby." I quickly added.
"Yes!" Someone whisper-yelled.
I quickly looked at my door and saw it wasn't entirely closed.
Great. I knew they'd eavesdrop.
"But we're moving on a weekend. I want to relax today and we can't move on a work day." I said firmly.
"But why~" Draco whined.
I gave him a pointed look and got up. I went to the door and opened it more. A grinning Lyla and Blaze greeted me. Lyla immediately threw her arms around me and kissed me on the cheek.
"Thank you Kate!" She said happily.
"You lived apart for three years because of me, so I think it's about time I repay you." I said.
"Thanks Kate." Blaze said with a grin.
"You're welcome." I replied.
"By the way, we'll bring Kayda to help you pack your girly shit, because we're not going anywhere near it." He added.
"Hey!" Lyla yelled at him. "That girly shit is what makes us look beautiful, so keep your insults to yourself." She said with a glare.

I chuckled at their banter. Then I felt arms wrap around my waist and my heartrate accelerated.
"Thank you for giving us a chance." Tharion said softly. "Katie." He added and my rationality left me.
He called me Katie again...
"Yeah. Thanks Katie. You won't regret it." Draco added playfully.
Why do I have a weird feeling about this...
...
"Lyla I swear to God!" I yelled across the room.
"I know, I know. But we don't move every day." She said excitedly.
I groaned and send her a glare.
"Lyla come on. Do you not see that protruding vein on her forehead?" Kayda said with a chuckle and pointed at my head.
I glared at her too and continued to pack.
Lyla decided it would be a good idea to put some music on, but now she keeps getting distracted every two seconds and not helping at all.
"Blaze, if you don't turn that off, you'll be a widower in the next five seconds." I threatened without looking at any of them.
They laughed at my threat, but thankfully listened and continued to pack without any more unnecessary 'situations'.
...
"We're here!" Draco exclaimed from the front door.
We greeted them and they immediately started to take our stuff outside. Me and the girls were sitting in a circle and packing our smaller necessities. Kayda was entertaining us with a story about one of her human ex-boyfriends.
"And then I told him-"
"What are you doing?" A voice said from the outside.
I whipped my head towards the door.
No way...
I quickly got up and headed toward the entrance.
"What does it look like? We're moving." Draco said with a snarky voice.
I hurried my steps and ran outside.
"I can see that. But this is my si-"

"Mat!" I yelled excitedly and jumped into his arms, wrapping my arms and legs around him.
"Woah!" He huffed out because of the impact, barely catching me in time.
I squeezed the life out of him for a few seconds and then pulled away.
"I can't believe you're here! But why are you here?" I said after I calmed down my excitement.
"Why do you ask that? Am I not allowed to visit you?" He asked, pretending to be hurt.
"Of cours-"
"Katie, who is he?" Draco interrupted me.
I turned around to look at him and only then saw the glares they were sending to Matthew. It almost made me laugh out loud.
They're so cute when they're jealous.
And then I comprehended what I thought.
Did I just say that?!
"Well?" Tharion urged impatiently.
"Ah right. The introductions." I mumbled and made Matthew face them. "This is Matthew, my younger brother." I emphasized the word 'brother'. "And these are my bosses Tharion and Draco Lombardi. And that's Lyla's boyf- I mean husband, Blaze. He's their older brother." I introduced.
Both Tharion and Draco visibly relaxed and I wanted nothing more than to tease the life out of them, but I can't while Matthew's here. And speaking of Matthew, he was still looking at them skeptically.
"Hey Kate!" Lyla yelled. "What should we do with- Mat!" She squealed and immediately started to run towards us.
Then she threw herself at him the same way I did and also squeezed the life out of him.
"Okay. That's enough." Matthew said with difficulty.
She let go of him with a chuckle.
"Look at you all manly and grown up." Lyla teased him and Matthew chuckled.
"What can I say. The girls love it, so I have to make an effort to please them." He joked and earned an elbow in the gut from me.
"Idiot." I mumbled only for him to hear.
"But I'm hurt Lyla. You got married and didn't even invite me to your wedding." He said with a pout.
"If it makes you feel any better, I wasn't invited either." I said with a grin.
Matthew gasped dramatically and looked at Lyla in surprise. She was already glaring daggers at me for saying that.
"Anyways, why are you here? Don't tell me you got yourself in some kind of trouble? I swear to God, if you did, I'll-"
"I didn't." He quickly interrupted me.
"Then?" I asked impatiently.
"I uh... kind-of-ran-away-from-
home." He mumbled quickly.
"You did what?!"
