《A Series Of Fortunately Unfortunate Events》Chapter 5

"Malfoy, y-you're a vampire?" Remus asked and seemed taken aback, but Draco only nodded.
Draco realized that the man who came to speak with Harry clearly didn't want his presence. "I'll wait downstairs while you guys converse on the topic you came for." Draco walked out of the doorway and heard the door close quickly behind him. He practically ran down the flight of stairs and when he reached the kitchen everyone turned to him in horror.
The boy, girl and Mrs. Weasley were still sitting at the table, but as he approached the table Mrs. Weasley rose rapidly and stared daggers at Draco. "What did you do? Is that blood? Oh, Harry!" She didn't even listen for a response and ran up the stairs to Harry's room. Draco just looked at the two sitting at the table, gave an awkward smile and walked over to the sink to attempt to rub Harry's blood off of his face.
After Draco left, Harry had to listen to Remus go on about the struggles of being what he now was, but that he could utilize his shrieking shack if he wanted and Remus could answer any questions of his. As he sat on Ron's bed and listened while looking around the room at all of the Quidditch merchandise and trying to make sure it looked as if he didn't only have underwear under his robe.
Remus seemed no where near done, but was cut off by Mrs. Weasley sprinting to the room, taking a seat next to Harry and hugging him affectionately. She stopped, grabbed Harry's hand and Harry could tell by the look on her face that she felt guilty. "Oh, Harry! I knew I shouldn't have allowed him into my home." She said. "Are you alright, dear?"

"Of course, Mrs. Weasley. You think Malfoy did this without my permission? No, I allowed him because he was thirsty." Harry said assuringly, but Mrs. Weasley didn't appear completely convinced.
"I was just about to bring that little incident that happened a few moments ago up. Harry, you must know that allowing that boy to suck your blood is highly dangerous and Molly is right to be worried. You mustn't do that again." Remus said firmly and Mrs. Weasley nodded.
Just as Harry was about to contradict them, loud footsteps came up the stairs, Draco ran inside and closed the door on someone who was following him. Draco was panting and pressing his back against the door. "They hate me! Everyone here hates me! I didn't try to do it, but I couldn't help myself!" Draco yelled hysterically, "You try being in my position! Other people's blood smells like Mudblood, but Harry's is different and I can't stop myself!" Draco cried and everyone in the room silent for a moment before Remus opened his mouth to speak.
"Malfoy, do you care deeply for—" Remus started before Draco's eyes widened, he turned, opened the door and sprinted out. Harry could hear muffled screams of anger from Draco, but only that. "Harry, I believe why Malfoy is so infatuated with your blood is because he feels something for you." Remus said and Mrs. Weasley gasped, clutching Harry's hand tighter than before.
Harry seemed to have a wordless exchange with Remus before getting up and following Draco. He had never noticed the speed at which Draco could walk, for Draco had already been out of sight.
Draco walked faster than he'd ever done before until he found a nearby lake, where he took a seat and stared into the murky blue-green water. Draco had been in denial for a long time about a certain course of events that would either need to be played out eventually or he would die with the burden on his heart. Crack! The noise came from a long distance, but still restively near the Burrow. Suddenly, a grunt echoed in his ear and he smelt the gushing of blood that smelt pure, like Harry's. Draco moved so quick it was if he apparated. It was superhuman to move as quick as he did. Once at his destination, he saw Harry staring at two cuts in the skin that looked as if cause by a needle. "Damn, snake." Harry said and Draco saw him smile at Draco.
