The following morning we both were up early. Trevor was about to head to his place to get ready for work and I was up getting ready for class. After my shower I walk back to my bedroom and Trevor was looking at his phone. He looked annoyed and I walk to my dresser.

"You okay?" I ask.

"Blake's texting me" he says and I glance back at him.

"Why?"

"She's my date to the work meeting or party, I don't even know what to call it anymore" he says.

"Oh"

"Yea, we planned this before you and I... you know"

"No, it's fine. I'll just bring Desi"

"Yea, I don't..." Trevor starts. He doesn't continue his sentence and I turn around to look at him. He was looking at me concerned.

"What?" I ask as he stands up.

"What happened to your back?" he ask.

"What?"

"Your back, you got this big ass yellow, purple bruise on your back Camari"

"Chill..." I laugh and he stares at me.

"I fell"

"You... fell?"

"Yea, on one of those bike ramps on campus. It was embarrassing" I said and he stares at me. I take a deep breath and shake my head.

"You lying to me?" he said and I don't respond. "Cam what happened to your back?"

"Trevor... I'm fine. Just let it go okay? Please" I said stepping up to him planting my lips on his. I pull back and he stares at me. He shakes his head and steps back.

"I'll call you later?" he says.

"Okay" I said. He puts his phone in his pocket and kisses my forehead before leaving out my room. I turn around in the mirror to look at the bruise on my back and shake my head.

This week was zooming by. Trevor and I met for lunch three times this week and it felt good. I know we've known each other for basically my whole life but I still get butterflies. Like this whole ass man. His face, his body, his eyes, this is all mine. And mine only.

"So if Breenan and Nia break up, he's basically fair game, right?" Desi says. It was Thursday, and we had ordered food and were at our dorm. Trevor and I look over at Desi and she smiles.

"You serious?" I ask.

"I mean yea... I know he cheated but I mean Trevor cheated too and you're dating him" Desi says.

"Damn Desi... chill" Trevor say.

"All I'm saying is... how long is he going to be mourning Nia before he's ready again?" Desi says and I roll my eyes when she laughs. "Are we still buying a dress tomorrow, Aria wants to know?"

"Yea, I get out of class at four" I answer.

"And can Aria come to Nia's dumb-ass party tomorrow?" Desi says.

"Bring her" Trevor laughs.

"I thought you said you didn't want to go?" I ask.

"Yea but then I realize I had nothing better to do and I'm coming for the food" Desi says and we laugh. "Trevor are you nervous?" Desi ask and I look at him. He looks down at me then at Desi.

"Nervous about? Nia's party? Not at all"

"No about your presentation on Saturday"

"Oh. Umm... not really. I mean... not really the presentation part" he says. "Blake really prepared us so..."

"Speaking of the Blake bitch, did Cami tell you Blake almost tried to sleep with her?"

"What?" Trevor said and I shake my head.

"We both were drunk and I finally came to"

"Cami, stop doing that" Trevor says and I look at him.

"Doing what?"

"Making up excuses. Stop lying to me"

"I'm not lying to you"

"Your back, now this"

"Your back? What's wrong with your back?" Desi asked.

"Apparently she fell and now has a big ass bruise on her back"

"You've been falling a lot lately" Desi says and I look at her. "I remember your face"

"What was wrong her face?" Trevor asked.

"She had this big ass scratch and apparently she fell in a bush"

"Okay. You guys really need to calm down. You know I'm lowkey a clutz" I said standing up. "I need to finish my homework and get some sleep. I have an exam tomorrow so" I say walking the dishes to the kitchen. I see Trevor stand up and he walks into the kitchen as I'm rinsing the dishes.

"Was that my cue to go?" Trevor ask coming behind me.

"I told you I was fine"

"Camari it's my job to take care of you" he says and I don't respond. "Hey look at me" he says and I turn to look at him. "After this weekend... no more lies, okay?"

"Okay" I said and he leans in to kiss me. I smile as he pulls back and rubs my waist.

"I'll see you tomorrow"

"Okay" I say kissing him one more time. He turns and leaves the kitchen to the door.

"Bye Desi"

"Bye" Desi says. When he was gone she looks at me. "You good dude?"

"Yea"

"Camari" she says standing up. "All I'm saying is that day I came in and it looked like you were crying, with the flowers on the floor. And now I'm finding out you somewhat fell again? Shit ain't adding up" she says and I roll my eyes.

"Nico and I had a fight"

"A physical fight!"

"I mean we weren't world star level"

"He hit you?" she ask.

"I mean I hit him"

"CAMARI YOU HAVE TO TELL YOUR BROTHER!"

"Why? I'll handled it tomorrow"

"Are you serious?"

"Desi please just let me do this. I promise I'll be fine" I said staring at her. She shakes her head and I head back to my room. I only studied for a little before I called it a night.

The following day after class, Aria, Desi and I were busy shopping for a dress for Desi and I to wear to Breenan and Trevor's work party.

"Definitely go with the green one" Desi says looking at me.

"I agree and your ass looks amazing" Aria says and I laugh.

"Thank you" I say staring at myself in the mirror. When we were finished we grabbed a quick snack before heading over to Breenan's for Nia's party. We were coming late because... we don't care nor do we like her. The door was unlock and we walk in and it was crowded and it super loud. The Migos plays on the speaker and the decorations were really nice to make me believe that Tori is here.

We walk in and Desi heads straight to the kitchen and I laugh. I look around and Trevor was holding a beer as Tori talks to him. He looked so disinterested but damn he looked so fine. His eyes were wondering and they finally land on me and I smile at me. He straightens his posture and says something to Tori before walking over to me.

"Hey" he smiles.

"Hi" I said looking back to see Tori staring at me.

"You drinking?" he ask and I follow him to the kitchen. "I got fruit punch, lemonade, and pepsi" he smirks then looks at me.

"Funny... that jokes getting old, you know?" I said and he laughs as he hands me a Mike's lemonade. "Where's Breenan?" I ask.

"I think he ran out to get more beer" Trevor says and I look at the cooler that was filled with beer.

"Right" I said and look at Trevor. He stares at me and I laugh. "Bye Trevor, go entertain your guest" I laugh and he laughs with me.

"You should meet me in my room in about thirty minutes, okay?" he says rubbing his hand down my lower back then walking out the kitchen. I laugh and shake my head.

"YO BREENAN THROW ME ONE" someone says. I look up and Breenan was walking in with more beer and he throws one to the guy Mason I met when I first started here. I see Nia walk up to Breenan holding onto him as people continue to gather around them trying to hold a conversation. Why is this just like high school? They're adults... Breenan still can't be considered... popular.

"Déjà vu" someone says and I look over at Nico staring at me. "You know since this is when we kinda officially met" he smiles. I scratch my head and I look at Desi talking to a guy in the dining room.

"Yea, umm... turns out I don't need you to be my date tomorrow so thanks but no thanks" I say about to walk away when he steps in front of me about to reach out. "I swear Nico if you touch me"

"I'm not. And Cam I apologized. I didn't mean to"

"Well you did" I said and he stares at me. "Leave me alone"

"Let's go outside and a take a walk"

"You're a lunatic" I laugh.

"AYO TREVOR" Nico says and I stare at him. I look over at Trevor and a few others look over at him. He stares at Nico and I and I look back at Nico.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"DO YOU THINK I CAN TAKE CAMARI OUTSIDE REAL FAST?" Nico ask him. I look back at Trevor and he stares at me then looks over. I follow his eyes and look at Breenan staring at us.

"Okay Nico, chill out" I said and he smirks. He holds out his hand and I grab it and we maneuver threw the party pass Breenan outside. When we get downstairs I pull my hand away from his and he shakes his head. "Can I ask you something?" I said following behind him. He glances at me as he keeps walking. "Why can't you just move on? Why still try to bother with someone who's not interested in you anymore?"

"Because you're not interested in me all for the wrong reason"

"Hitting me does play a factor in why I don't like you but the real reason is because I want to be with someone else"

"What's with you bitches and Trevor?" he says and I look at him. "What does he got that make ya'll go crazy?"

"What are you talking about?"

"You, Tori... Blake. Like why do you have to have him?" he says.

"Nico this is a waste of time, so I don't know what to tell you" I said crossing my arms and he stops and stares at me. He shakes his head and starts to walk away and I watch him. Does he get it now? Will he please leave me alone?

I then see Blake's car pass me and it stops in a parking spot. I didn't want to talk to her right now so I start walking away when I hear the front door shut closed. I glance back and didn't see Blake. I saw a tall, light skin guy looking down at his phone as he locks the car. I stop and start to make my way to the guy as he looked so familiar. I approached the guy from behind and there was no way.

"Ronnie? Ronnie Benson?" I say and the guy looks at me. He smiles and he was as handsome as I remembered.

"Camari?" he says walking up to me. "Wow, it's good to see you" he says pulling me into a hug. He steps back and looks at me. "Wow you look... really good" he smirks.

"Thanks..." I say staring at him. "What are you doing here?"

"Came to surprise my sister... I don't think she's too happy about seeing me. Thought I would make it up to her by getting her an oil change" he says staring at me and my mouth becomes dry.

"Umm... Brianna?" I ask.

"Yes, that is my sister" he laughs. "Do you live around here?"

"No... just visiting a friend" I barely say.

"You okay?" he says.

"Is this your sisters' car?" I ask pointing to Blake's car.

"Sure is... better car than me" he laughs then looks at me. "You met her?"

"Somewhat" I said.

"Do you mind dropping these off to her. She has the penthouse at the top. She's really not happy to see me so I'm just going to catch an earlier flight back to Texas" he says handing me Blake's keys. I stare at the keys and my heart starts to race. "Cam are you sure you're okay?"

"I don't know"

"Need me to take you somewhere? The heat is strong out here"

"It's fine" I barely say.

"When we head back home for break, we should catch up. If that's okay?" he says.

"Okay" I said and he smiles.

"I'll see you later" he says walking away to a red car. I stare at Blake's keys in my hand and start to make my way upstairs. This is not real, it's a joke. I knock on the door and it took her a moment but she finally answers.

"Oh! Hey Camari" she says looking both ways then back at me. I just stare at her. "Nia's party blows, huh?" she laughs walking back into her apartment. I follow her in and close the door.

"Brianna" I say and Blake slowly looks up at me.

"What?" she says.

"You're Brianna" I said in disbelief.

"Cam... you've been drinking" she laughs. "Me Blake, you Camari" she continues to laugh and I dangle her keys. "How'd you get those?"

"Ronnie, your brother, gave them to me" I said and she stares at me. "Just admit your caught... you're Brianna Benson" I say and she continues to stare at me confused until her face forms into a smile.
