Despite knowing that Breenan was at home freaking out about the Nia situation. Trevor and I enjoyed our day today. We sat in the parking lot of Dairy Queen for who knows how long. Trevor hands me yet another sweatshirt to cover up the stain on my shirt. We were busy catching up. I was telling him about me and school. Desi, Aria and even the stupid assignment Professor Warren gave me. We shared funny memes and videos we've seen on social media. I even followed Trevor back on Instagram.

"Hello?" Trevor says answering his phone. He looks at me then looks down. "Yea, okay" he says hanging up.

"Everything okay?" I ask.

"Nia's at the apartment" he said and I roll my eyes. "I know it's none of our business or even our problem but that's still my dude"

"No it's cool. We can go"

"We?" he says and I look at him. "You about to be stuck to my hip now?"

"Maybe" I said and he laughs putting the car in drive. We pull away to Dairy Queen and made our way to the apartment complex. Once we were out, I follow Trevor up and he stops at the door. "Go?" I said and he turns around to kiss me and I laugh.

"Had to" he smirks.

"Open the door" I said and he laughs opening the door. We walk in and Breenan and Nia were sitting on the couch. Breenan looked comfortable but I knew he was just putting on an act.

"Why is Cam here?" Breenan ask.

"Because I need money for my dress" I said and he shakes his head. Breenan stands up and walks back towards his room and I follow him. I see him go to his dresser pulling out his wallet and I close his room door and he looks at me.

"How much?"

"Breenan... I know" I say quietly.

"What?"

"I know about... Blake" I said and he stares at me then laughs.

"Trev tell you?"

"No... I'm the one who told Trevor" I said and he stares at me.

"Camari it's none of your fuckin business" he says walking up to me holding the money out.

"Breenan"

"Camari... please just take the money" he says. I stare at him and grab the money putting it in my pocket.

"You can talk to me you know?" I said and he stares at me. "I may or may have not been in a similar situation" I continue and he doesn't say anything.

"I'm going to have to tell her" he says.

"When?"

"This weekend, after the work party" he says and I stare at him and he shakes his head going to sit down on the bed. "She's going to break up with me"

"You don't know that"

"Cam, I didn't just kiss someone else. I—" he stops and shakes his head. "Wedding off before it even started" he adds. "What would I even tell mom and dad?"

"Breenan we all make mistakes"

"God I am so stupid" he says leaning his head back. "What'd you do?"

"Huh?"

"You said you were in a similar situation... what'd you do to fix it?" he ask and I look ahead.

"Umm... nothing"

"And that worked?"

"No"

"What does that mean? Like you've been keeping it a secret?"

"Yea"

"Still?"

"Yes Breenan" I said and he sits up.

"And..."

"And it might've made things worst?"

"How about this" Breenan says sitting up. "This weekend we both come clean. So whatever comes at both of us, we're in it together. Us against whoever and whatever. I don't know man, we can both feel like shit together and eat or something" he says and I laugh. "Deal?"

"Deal" I said and he stares at me. Breenan stands up and walks to his door.

"If mom or dad ask... I gave you money" he says and I laugh.

"Okay" I said and he leaves his room. I follow Breenan out and Trevor was leaning on the wall as Nia types away at her phone on the couch. Trevor stares at me as I come closer to him and I can't help to smile. "Alright, can you take me home?" I ask.

"Yea"

"Or... you guys can just chill here. Like damn I can order food" Breenan says and we look at him. He stares at Trevor and I bite my lip. Right. He doesn't want to be alone with Nia.

"Nawh I'll order" Trevor says going into the kitchen. I watch him and he pulls out an ad from a drawer. I watch him pull out his phone and call whatever place they were ordering from. I go sit down on the couch and relaxed with everyone. Although we're all hiding something from one another.

When it was really late Nia was still here and I was getting tired. Like damn, I have class in the morning. Nia was supposing inviting her self to spend the night and we all wanted her to leave.

"I need to get back" I said standing up.

"Alright" Breenan says standing up.

"What? Breenan... just let Trevor take her" Nia says.

"Nia... she's my sister"

"And when did that mean let me drive her home?" she says.

"Nia what's the big deal?" Breenan ask.

"The big deal? You've been acting strange as hell. Missing my phone calls, not texting me back. Not wanting to be alone with me. I mean what's up?"

"What do you mean?"

"Meaning did I do something? Are you mad? If we're going to be in this for the long-run... we need to communicate"

"Nia... where did this come from? All because I want to drive my sister home?" he ask and she stares at him. She shakes her head and stands up.

"Fine" she says.

"Where you going?"

"Home. Because I don't like what you're doing" she says unplugging her charger.

"Sorry, I'm just tired" he says and she doesn't say anything. I look over at Trevor and he was leaning forward watching Nia.

"Camari come on, I'll drive you" she says and my eyes widen.

"No. It's fine... Breenan can" I said.

"I'm literally driving pass your dorm, just come on" she says grabbing her purse.

"It's fine" I said.

"You're acting funny too?" she says staring at me.

"No. I just..." I said taking a deep breath. "We don't even really vibe, you know?"

"Since when?" she says and I stare at her confused. Is she serious? If she forgetting everything she's ever said to me. Yea, I use to like you bitch but now I don't.

"Nia I'm not leaving with you" I said and she stares at me.

"You know what... whatever" she laughs. "Maybe find yourself a new date for your stupid ass work party" Nia says storming away. We don't say anything until we hear the front door slam. I look over at Breenan and he puts his hands over his face.

"I'm going to shower" he says standing up.

"Wait aren't you taking me home?" I said.

"Trevor can" Breenan says walking out the living room. I roll my eyes at him and stood up. I watch as Breenan goes into the bathroom and look over at Trevor.

"He's telling her this weekend" I said walking up to him as he stands up.

"He said that?"

"Yea we kinda agreed we both would come clean" I said and Trevor stares at me. "Maybe I should tell him"

"Cam, I'm telling him and that's final" he says and I stare at him. "Come on, let's get you home" he says turning around going to grab his keys. I follow Trevor out and we head to his car. His music was on low and he lays his hand on my thigh as we make our way back to my dorm. Trevor pulls into the dormitory and I look at him.

"You coming in?" I ask.

"Should I?"

"Yes" I laugh getting out the car. Trevor grabs my hand as we walk inside the dorm. We head up to my room and I unlock the door. Desi was on the couch and she turns around when she see's walk in.

"Well, well, well..." she says and I laugh closing the door. "I guess things worked out?"

"Desi stop" I laugh.

"Thanks Desi for getting her to come clean" Trevor says.

"Although you're not at the top of my list... I still fuck with you" she says and we laugh when a couple knocks came at the door.

"You expecting someone?" I ask Desi.

"No?" Desi says walking to the door. She opens it and Nia walks in with a smile on her face. Oh boy.

"Nia what the hell?" I said, I look at Trevor and he shakes his head.

"Wow Trev, you and Breenan's little sister. Now I really know"

"I was dropping her off" Trevor says.

"And that involves hand-holding?"

"Did you really just stalk them?" Desi says and Nia looks at her.

"This doesn't concern you" Nia says and Desi steps in front of Nia.

"It does because that's my best friend and this is our place, so get to steppin" Desi says.

"I won't tell him if you tell me what's Breenan hiding" Desi says. I stare at Nia and shake my head.

"He's not hiding anything" I answer.

"Oh shut up. I've been with this boy for how long? I know when he starts to act funny, he's hiding something. So tell me or I'll tell him, his best friend is banging his little sister"

"Go ahead Nia" Trevor says and we look at Trevor.

"What?" Nia says. Yea... what?

"Tell him. Go ahead and get him in a bad mood then ruin his career because he wouldn't want to do the presentation with me" Trevor says and Nia stares at him. She shakes her head and a tear rolls down her face.

"Trevor I just want to know what I did?" Nia cries. "Like do you know how it feels to be left in the dark about something? That everyone seems to know and you don't? He's hiding something or he's mad at me for something and I don't think I've done anything. He doesn't even want to kiss me..." she says and Desi snickers and I look at her.

"Sorry" Desi says.

"Birthday party" I blurt out and Nia stares at me. "He's throwing you a birthday party this weekend" I say.

"What?"

"You wanted to know and I told you" I said and she wipes her tears.

"Seriously?"

"Nia... yes. So you can go" I said and she shakes her head.

"Fine" she says. She stares at one more time before exiting and Desi closes and locks the door.

"Bitch is crazy" Desi says and I look at Trevor.

"You think she's going to tell still?" I ask and Trevor shakes his head.

"I don't know" he says going to sit down on the couch.

"So out of curiosity, when are you guys going to come out?" Desi ask and I go sit next to Trevor on the couch.

"This weekend after his work presentation" I said. I look at Trevor and rub his thigh and he looks at me. "You okay?" I ask.

"Damn, after this weekend, who knows what's going to happen"

"Hopefully you all grow up, split up, and move on with your lives without one another" Desi says.

"Desi..." I say.

"Alright, I'm going to sleep. I need rest I have a test tomorrow so I don't want to hear the bed rockin" she says.

"DESI!" I say again and she laughs going into her room, shutting the door. I look back at Trevor and he stares at me. "Trev..." I say holding his face. "After this weekend, there will be no more secrets, and that's what we want"

"I'm not getting cold feet. But maybe Desi was right... we all need a break from each other" he says. I lean in to kiss him and rest my head on his.

"Let's go to bed"
