The rest of the time Blake was showing Breenan and Trevor how her system worked. I was finally getting hungry and went to grab something to eat. Breenan walks into the kitchen and goes to grab a beer.

"Congrats on the nerd shit" I said and he laughs.

"Cam, this is huge" he said.

"Sounds like it"

"Man, Trevor really needed this"

"Needed what?"

"Some good news. He broke up with Tori a couple days ago" Breenan says and my eyes widen.

"What?"

"I know, finally right?" Breenan laughs taking a sip of his beer. "I was thinking of throwing him a stripper party, hate to see my boy upset. But, being able to have this software... that'll keep his mind off her" Breenan says taking another swig at his beer. Okay... so I don't have to feel bad that Trevor and I kissed again. He was single when it happened. "Between you and me... I think Blake's trying to get with him" Breenan nudges me. I look over at Blake and she was resting her hand on Trevor's shoulder while he navigates through the computer. "I mean... she's hot"

"Who's hot?" Nia says coming into the kitchen.

"You are babe" Breenan says kissing Nia on the cheek and walking out the kitchen.

"Right" she laughs and looks at me. She sends me a smile and I roll my eyes.

"Can you quit with the act?" I said.

"What are you talking about?"

"Nia I don't know what your problem is... but nothing happened between Trevor and I. Got it? You had a feeling I had a crush on him and yea maybe I did but that's it. Other than that, mind your fucking business" I said about to go around her and she stops me.

"Tori and him are getting back together" she said.

"Okay?"

"They are. That's why Tori is so cool with this... he's having a difficult time with balancing work and school and he's frustrated that's why they broke up"

"You're telling me this why?" I said.

"Camari... whatever you and Blake are up to, it's not going to work"

"What are you talking about?"

"Just because he doesn't want to date you, you're trying to get Blake and him together"

"What?" I laugh.

"I've seen you and Blake. All buddy-buddy"

"Weren't you the one who was shopping with her the other night?"

"Girl come on. You know that stupid saying, keep your friends close and your enemies closer, duh" Nia said.

"Wow..."

"I'm not trying to be mean Camari. It's just, we're a pact. Breenan, me, Tori and Trev. We've always been together and I just don't want anything to get in the way"

"Are we done?" I said and she stares at me. I then walk around her to go sit down and started eating. I can't believe she's going to be my sister-in-law. They were still talking about this software thing and honestly it was getting late and I was getting tired.

"We can run it all the way up to the meeting so guys know everything and are prepared to present it" Blake says.

"Thank you Blake" Breenan says hugging her.

"Of course" she laughs. "Oh let me go get the flash drive" Blake says walking to the back. Trevor and Breenan were still staring at the computer screen and I follow Blake to her room. She was in her bed side table looking through something.

"Hey Blake, I'm sorry to be annoying but do you think you can drop me off?"

"You're not annoying Camari, but of course" she smiles.

"Thanks"

"You're really not trying to be with Trevor, huh?"

"First off all... I didn't know he broke up with Tori" I said and Blake walks over to me.

"Yea..."

"But she seemed okay the other night"

"She said they're going to get back together. It's just a break..." Blake shrugs.

"Do you like him?" I ask.

"Who? Trevor?" she says looking at me confused. "Camari, come on, please let's not with the cliché'"

"Well you should probably tell Nia and Tori that" I said and she laughs.

"Always blame the new girl" she laughs.

"Yea, but anyways thank you for keeping my notebook anyway. I don't want anyone else to see it"

"What all does it say in there?" she ask.

"Everything" I said and she laughs. "Dude... and right after he read it we..." I stop and stare at her.

"We... what?"

"Kissed... or made out or whatever?"

"Seriously?" Blake says. "What happened to that nice guy you were with the other night?"

"His name is Nico and I still would like to... hang out with him. The whole Trevor thing just happened"

"Camari... you guys have history. Probably was caught up in the moment, you know? He read some things you said about him and he's probably horny. A kiss means nothing" she said and I stare at her. "Watch..." she says. Blake steps up to me, holding onto my face and planting her lips onto mine. I hurry to pull away and she stares at me. "See... means nothing" she laughs. I stare at her confused and she looks passed me. I turn around to see Trevor staring at us.

"Sorry... I was just seeing if you were ready to go Cam?" he said.

"Umm... Blake's going to take me home actually" I said.

"Oh..." he says and looks at Blake. "Okay, well I'll see you guys later then. And again, thank you Blake"

"No problem, here you go" she said handing him a flash drive. He smiles at her, then looks at me before turning around.

"Did you just kiss me?" I said still in shock and Blake looks at me and smiles.

"Camari, don't act like you've never kissed a girl before. We all grew up with Katy Perry" she laughs grabbing a jacket from her closet.

"No, I've never kissed a girl"

"Well how was it?"

"How was what?"

"Your first kiss with a female?" she says looking at me. What the fuck is going on? I stare at her and she shakes her head. "It honestly was harmless, I swear" she says patting me on my shoulder and walking out her room. I roll my eyes and follow her out to see her giving the other flash drive to Breenan. "Just plug it in on your computer and it all should be there"

"Sweet, thank you" Breenan says.

"Thank you for dinner too" Nia says.

"No problem" she smiles. Blake and I follow Trev, Breenan and Nia out. I get into Blake's car and she pulls away from her apartment. A Rihanna song was playing on the radio and I lean my head back until we get to my dorm.

"Thanks for the ride" I said.

"Yea! Thank you for coming over, text me" she said and I smile at her.

"I will, night!" I said closing the door. Once I was up in the dorm, it was quiet and I figured Desi and Aria probably went out. I went to take a shower then got into bed. I can't believe three different people have all kissed me in under 24 hours. I felt the CD under my pillow and pulled it out to look at the second song. "It's a Vibe by 2 Chainz" I say as I type it to my Apple Music. I put the CD back under my pillow. The music starts up and I roll my eyes as I realize I do know the song. I close my eyes listening to the song on repeat and fell asleep.

On Sunday, it was another catch up on homework day and work on our test and quizzes. Aria was over and she was actually... doing her work and staying off her phone. I continue to look at my phone because it's been a whole day and Nico hasn't messaged me. Did I do something wrong?

"CAMARI!" Desi yells and I look over at her.

"What?" I said and she laughs.

"Did you really not hear me?"

"No, what?"

"What's going on?" she ask.

"Nothing" I said and she stares at me and I laugh then roll my eyes. "I thought Nico and my date went well. I'm curious why he hasn't messaged me yet"

"He hasn't said anything to you?" Aria ask.

"No..."

"It's fine, he's probably busy" she says and I look at my phone and roll my eyes.

"Right" I said.

On Monday, it was back to school and I was sitting next to Desi and Aria in our lecture hall. Someone was busy talking to Professor Warren up at the front.

"You think he fools around with college girls?" Desi says and I look at her.

"Who?"

"Our Professor?"

"Isn't he married?" I ask.

"No, I already checked on facebook" Desi says and Aria and I laugh. I can't believe it's been a whole ass two days and still nothing from Nico. Guys are so stupid. Whatever.

"Wow, you all made it another week, which means another lesson, notebooks out" he says. I pull a sheet of paper out, I would transfer this all to my notebook later. "So... you've guys been meeting people right?" he starts and the class all agrees. "See any cute guys, pretty females? Maybe you went to a party? Or Caroline from Stats is so fine right?" he says and we laugh. "Did we make the move?" he ask and no one responds. "Miss. Grinder... let's go with you"

"You cannot tell me he doesn't want me" Desi whispers and I look down and laugh. "Umm... yea I've been looking" she says and the class laughs and he smiles.

"And?"

"And I haven't said anything to him. Found him on social media, he looks single"

"But you're not sure?" Professor Warren says and I couldn't help to laugh because Desi's talking about him.

"No" she said.

"Alright guys, step three, taking initiative. The girl or guy won't know you want to talk unless you tell them. Make conversation, bump into them"

"And what if you went on a date, and they haven't texted you back. And it's been two days?" Aria ask. I look at her and she winks at me.

"What are you waiting for? A Nobel piece prize?" Professor Warren says. I'm offended.

"What is he waiting for? To sign with the Lakers?" I fight back. This is personal so I feel like I was obligated to say that. The lecture hall starts laughing including our Professor.

"Why does he have to make the first move?" he ask looking at us. "That is what's wrong nowadays you guys care about your pride too much. And that's what we're not going to do" he says going to the board writing. "Your next assignment in your notebook is to make the next move. You message him... you ask what he's up to, if he wants to hang. Or like I said bump into him" Professor Warren says writing on the board then he looks back at us. "Play damsel in distress if you have to. We can't score a touchdown if we don't have a player" he smiles.
