"I ain't too mad about heading back into work either" Breenan says putting money down and standing up.

"He finally has some eye candy to stare at all day" Trevor says laying down some money and Nico laughs.

"Oh you talking about that Blake girl, whew. She is nice" Nico says and they laugh.

"Catch you on the court man" Breenan says giving Nico a handshake.

"You ready?" Nico ask.

"Yea" I said standing up and we walk out the restaurant. We get back in the car and again his bluetooth connects.

"I'm sorry we didn't get to talk much" Nico says.

"No it's fine" I say looking at the time.

"Maybe I'll see you tonight" he says and I couldn't help to smile. "What party you going to?"

"I don't know honestly. My friends are dragging me a long"

"What? You don't want to go?"

"I don't mind" I said and he laughs. Once we're back on campus, I open the passenger door and look back over to him. "Thank you for lunch" I said.

"No problem, I'll see you around" he says.

"Yea" I said getting out the car. I walk away without looking back. Was that all? He still didn't ask me for my number? This campus is huge, how will he find me tonight?

I sit in my class, hardly paying attention. I was actually tired and wanted to crawl into bed. As my class finishes, I walk back to my dorm while texting my mom. Once inside, I go and sit on the couch leaning my head back when I hear laughing. I look over to see Aria and Desi coming out Desi's bedroom.

"Hey, didn't know you were home" Desi says sitting next to me.

"Did you message Blake yet?" Aria says.

"No, not yet"

"What are you waiting for?" Aria says and they laugh. I pull out my phone and went to Blake's number. I call her and she answers on the third ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey Blake, it's Camari"

"Hi"

"Hi, umm... bad time?"

"I'm still in the office about to leave in about a hour, why?"

"Just wanted to know if you were up to going to a party tonight?" I ask and she laughs.

"A college party?"

"Yea" I laugh. I realize how dumb this sounds.

"I'm going to have to pass but I don't mind being the DD" she offers.

"No you're okay. They just wanted to know if you can get us... drinks? We'll pay you" I said and she laughs.

"Of course. I can pick up some Ciroc on the way home and you ladies meet at my place?"

"Sounds good, thank you"

"Of course, see you in a little" she says and we get off the phone.

"So?" Aria ask.

"Yea, she'll pick up a bottle and we can pick it up in a hour" I said and the girl pile on me and we laugh.

"I still need to pick out an outfit" Desi says getting up and walking back to her room.

"What are you wearing?" Aria ask and I look at her.

"I don't know, I'll find something"

"No converse..." she laughs and goes back to Desi's room. The fuck? I'll wear my converse if I want to. I went to my room to work on my homework until we left for Blake's. When we arrive, I knock on the door and she answers.

"Come on in ladies" she says and we walk into her living room.

"Wow, I want to be like you" Desi says and Blake laughs shutting the door. Blake's heels tap on the floor and we follow her to the kitchen. She was wearing a blue pants suit and her hair hangs down in waves.

"I got two bottles. One peach and the other green apple" Blake says handing the bottles to Desi.

"Thank you girl" Aria says handing Blake money.

"No, you girls are fine. Just be safe and call if you need anything" Blake says.

"We will!" Desi says.

"I will meet you guys" I said and Desi stares at me.

"Wait, what?" Desi says

"I'm going to sit with Blake... if that's okay?" I say looking at her.

"That's fine with me" she says.

"Cami... we have to get ready. Then take some pictures, then pre-game?" Desi says.

"Desi, I didn't say I'm not going" I said.

"I'll drop her off when she's ready" Blake says.

"Come on Desi. She'll be fine, we can get Taco Bell and then get ready" Aria says grabbing her hand and pulling her to the door. Desi stares at me then rolls her eyes and they both leave. I look back over at Blake and she smiles at me.

"Something tells me you don't want to go"

"What gave it away?" I sarcastically say.

"Rough day?" she says going to her wine rack. I go sit at her bar and watch her pull out a red wine. "You drink wine?"

"Umm... sure" I said and she smiles pulling out two fancy glasses.

"What's wrong? Girl trouble or boy trouble? Or school trouble?" she says and I laugh.

"I don't know really what's wrong. I feel lonely?"

"What? Really? Your two friends are trying to get you to go out" she said handing me a glass.

"Yea... feels like Desi and Aria have been getting really close" I said taking a sip of my wine. I didn't really drink but I felt classy, so I'm not complaining.

"Mmm... well what's your brother doing? You guys seem close"

"Please keep my brother away from me" I said and she laughs.

"How about Trevor?" she says and takes a sip of her wine. She stares at me then looks down and I laugh.

"Right..." I said leaning on the counter. "I had the typical crush on my brothers best friend. There... I said it"

"Well he is very handsome" she said and I look down.

"You promise you won't judge me?"

"Of course not"

"You promise you won't say anything?"

"Camari... you have my word"

"I slept with Trevor a couple months back" I blurted out and her eyes widen.

"Oh... okay" she says and I take a sip of my wine. "Was he..."

"Still dating Tori? Yea" I said.

"Damn..." she said. She grabs the wine bottle and pours more in both our cups and I laugh. "Was it a hook-up? Like one time thing only?"

"Yea?"

"Oh baby no. You fell for him, didn't you?" she said.

"I did, but I'm getting over him. Trust me"

"How?"

"I'm taking... a dating class?" I said and she stares at me and we both laugh. "Stupid I know"

"No, no. Not at all. Whatever helps" she says coming to sit next to me.

'Trevor really isn't the issue anymore..."

"He's not?"

"No. He's stupid and he's with Tori still"

"What's the problem then?"

"Guys" I said and she laughs and we both drink our wine. "I don't know" I say looking down.

"Can I give you some advice?"

"Please"

"Fuck them... metaphorically of course" she says and I laugh. "You are a beautiful young lady. It's your first year in college... Camari.... distance yourself away from your brother and Trevor. Maybe even guys" she says and I laugh. "Have fun. Drink illegally, go to parties, stress about your exams coming up. Miss class because of that really bad hangover" she says drinking her wine and I laugh. "There are always going to be guys... trust me"

"You're right" I said drinking my wine and she smiles. "Can I stay and hang with you tonight?"

"No party?"

"There will probably be one tomorrow" I said and she laughs.

"I will enjoy the company. I can order Chinese" she says pulling out her phone. I stay at Blake's the rest of the night, we were already on our second bottle of wine and I was tipsy as hell. We were in her bedroom, watching horror flicks while I filled her in on probably every possibly detail of my life.

I ended up passing out and woke up the next morning in Blake's bed. The sun was beaming through her window and I squint and look over to the side to see Blake not there. I yawn and sit up and look around.

"Blake?" I said getting out of the bed. My head was throbbing and I walk into the kitchen.

"Morning sunshine" she says and I smile at her. "Hangover?"

"A little" I said and she laughs. She hands me some medicine then grabs a water out the fridge.

"Thank you" I said taking it. I look over to see my phone on the bar and I walk over to it. It was on twenty percent but I see a bunch of missed calls from Desi. I take a deep breath and slipped my phone in my pocket.

"You okay?"

"Yea, I'll be fine. Do you think you can drop me back off at my dorm?"

"Yea" she said going back to her bedroom. I sit down to put my shoes on and when we were ready we headed out.
