"Sorry..." I said and he stares at me. His face comes to a smirk and he walks up to me wrapping his arm around my neck and we continue to walk. Trevor continues to talk about campus and all I could think about was how close we were. It's been such a long time since I smelled him. I know I said I was over it but he almost acts like it never happened. What we did... wasn't real. My feelings didn't matter.

"Damn Trevor already snatching up a poor freshmen" a guy said coming up to us and Trevor laughs dropping his arm. "Mason this is Camari, Camari this is Mason... you'll see him a lot, he's a teacher's aide"

"Nice to meet you" Mason said.

"You too" I say.

"She off limits?" Mason says looking at Trevor. Okay?

"Dude... come on" Trevor says.

"I'm joking... a little" he laughs looking back at me. I smile back at him but I was actually a little disgusted he was that open.

"Yea... she is" Trevor says and I snap my neck at him.

"Says who?" I say.

"Says... your brother" Trevor said.

"Who's her brother?"

"Breenan" Trevor says proud which was annoying. I look back at Mason and he smiles then looks at me.

"Don't worry sweetheart... I'll circle back around" he said walking away from us. I smile then shake my head. He wasn't the best out of the bunch but... it was the first college guy to hit on me... or should I say the second.

"I'm not in high school by the way. I can talk for myself" I say and Trevor looks at me.

"You're right. Sorry... force of habit. He's actually a nice guy when you get to know him" Trevor says. Is he... giving me the 'okay' to talk to other guys? I mean I didn't need it but... okay. Trevor and I ended up going to Panera and he pays for my food. We sit down at a table and I snapchat the campus and people walking around.

I sit my phone down and start to eat my food when I feel something heavy. I look up to see Trevor staring at me.

"What?" I said chewing my food.

"I don't know, maybe I'm just happy to see you?" he shrugs picking up a chip. He's happy to see me? "Hows Desi?" he ask.

"She's good, can't wait to see her"

"College bound" he smirks leaning back in his chair. "Why'd you pick this school?"

"Breenan liked it, so why not?"

"Come on Camari... you can't be with us forever" he jokes and I stare at him. I mean... obviously. "I don't mean it like..."

"I kinda want to take this to go" I say and he stares at me.

"Right..." he says scratching his chin. We ended up getting to-go boxes and walk back to Trevor's car. It's to the point I don't even want to be around Trevor anymore. It was awkward. All I can remember is everything we did.

Once we were back at the house, I was hoping Trevor had to be somewhere so we weren't in the house by ourselves. Trevor puts his keys on the counter and went to pick up the remote in the living room turning the T.V on.

"Trying to watch Shrek?" Trevor ask and I look at him. How does he know that's my favorite movie? I've never told him that.

"What?"

"Shrek..." he laughs. "Isn't it your favorite?"

"I've never told you that"

"You didn't have to. You watched it all the time growing up?" he says and I look down.

"No, I'm good" I said walking to my room shutting the door. All I have to do is make it the rest of the day then Desi will be here. I got this. Once I'm on campus, I don't have to see Trevor anymore... if I don't want to.

I knew I should had been looking over my schedule or school work that was due soon. But my mom and I bought myself a few new outfits to adapt to the weather here. I went to try them on and modeled for myself as I didn't have anything else to do.

As time goes by, I didn't hear the T.V on in the living room. I wanted to finish the rest of my food and watch T.V by myself. I walk out into the hallway then down to the living that was empty. I went to grab my food and sat down turning on Netflix. It wasn't long till I heard the door unlock. "HONEY I'M HOME!" Breenan yells. Breenan walks around the corner, throwing his keys on the table.

"That was fast" Trevor says coming into the living from the back.

"Right... we got done early" Breenan says walking into the living room. "How'd it go?" Breenan says hitting my leg as he sits on the opposite couch.

"Not terrible" I say as I look at Trevor leaning on the wall. He sends me a smirk and I look back at Breenan.

"Good... now I gotta show you something" Breenan says and he digs through his pocket. I watch him and he pulls out a small box. This isn't what I think it is? He pops the top open and inside sat a beautiful ring. I drop my mouth open then look at him.

"Promise ring?" I nervously say and Breenan rolls his eyes.

"It's an engagement ring dumbass. I'm going to ask Nia to marry me" he says. I look at Trevor and he looks at the ring then at me.

"Wow..." I said and clear my throat. "You sure?"

"When did you stop liking Nia?" Breenan ask and I stare at him. "You told me you were over what happened..."

"I am... congrats bro" I said and he closes the box and puts it back in pocket. "When?"

"When mom and dad get here" he said standing up walking to the kitchen.

"Didn't realize you were ready to settle down so fast" I said.

"Been with her this long, why not be with her forever" he said. That's actually pretty romantic coming from him. I can't believe Nia... is going to be my sister-in law.

"Well I'm happy for you bud" Trevor says and they laugh.

"Aye but did you meet that Blake girl?" Breenan says. I bring my knees to my chest and I stare at my brother. I was completely dumbfounded... he's going to propose this weekend... MY BROTHER.

"Blake?" Trevor says.

"New girl at the job they just hired. Hot as shit. Like... she was wearing the tightest dress coming to the office, she wanted me to look, you know?"

"Umm... did we not just get done talking about how you're going to propose to Nia a minute ago?" I ask and they laugh.

"I can look Camari... just can't touch" Breenan laughs. Ugh... men.

"What she working?" Trevor ask.

"Over us..." Breenan says opening a beer.

"What? No way"

"I guess she got the credentials behind her... that or her nice ass" Breenan says when someone knocks on the door. "But when you see her... text me and tell me that you wouldn't bang her" Breenan says and I roll my eyes. Trevor laughs as he walks to the front door.

"You're gross, you know that right?" I said to Breenan and he shrugs his shoulders.

"Hi hun" someone says and I look up and there she was. Nia. She cut her hair really short but it was layered nicely. She's always been pretty but it's like Arizona did something to make them all look a lot better.

"Hey" I said. I've ignored her text messages and calls as well.

"High school ain't so high school anymore" someone says and I look over to see Tori coming into the living room. She actually looked like an adult, wearing a pants suit and she got highlights. She smiles at me and I look behind her at Trevor. He stares at me and looks down. "Now that you know one of our deepest darkest secrets... welcome to the pact" she says so gracefully.

"Tori what the fuck?" Breenan says.

"Tori... come on" Nia says rolling her eyes and going to greet Breenan in the kitchen.

"Everyone calm down" she laughs coming to sit next to me. "Where's your partner in crime?"

"Be here tomorrow" I said standing up and she grabs my arm.

"Ugh! I just got here, where you going? Let's catch up"

"Tori... leave her alone" Trevor says and she rolls her eyes dropping her hand. "I just missed the pretty girl, that's all" she smiles at me. "You just keep getting better looking with time, now don't you?"

"You have to be gay..." I hear Breenan say.

"Well... I have been with one girl already, but you should know that, right?" Tori says standing up.

"Tori..." Nia says.

"Tori get the fuck out" Breenan says.

"Breenan, you act like such a little bitch. It's a joke... calm down" Tori said.

"We're not joking about that Tori" Trevor says.

"I'm always the bad guy here, aren't I?" she said and they don't respond. "I feel like you guys have always blamed me for that night. Like Breenan wasn't in the room watching us fuck each other" she said.

"TORI!" Trevor yells. She looks over at him and they stare at each other. "I can't—you are so disgusting" Trevor says. Woah. He shakes his head then turns around and I hear him walk down the hall.

"Trevor?" Tori calls after him when we hear the front door open then slams shut. The room falls silent and I shake my head.

"You guys got issues" I say walking to my room closing the door.
