《Bloodstained (Thorin x OC)》Spiders and Elves

The next day, the group trudged on, starving and stumbling as they went. They'd abandoned the idea of finding the path again, and instead just headed east, toward the end of the forest.
"How are you holding up, Bilbo?" Agarwaen asked the hobbit, who had been looking a little pale lately.
"As well as I can I suppose." He sighed. "My stomach feels like a shriveled up raisin, and I haven't got an ounce of water in my body."
"I'm sorry I got us lost. We might've been out of here already if I hadn't."
"And the last time you thought that, you were a shaking mess in the ground. It's okay, it's not your fault, it's this...this forest. It's got us all confused and exhausted."
"Do you wish you hadn't gotten roped into this?"
"Well...see, that's a tricky one. This is the greatest adventure a hobbit has ever been on, and though it may be dangerous and I could very well die...well, I think I'm glad I'm here. I think." Agarwaen smiled and shook her head.
"A true adventurer, you are. Once this is all over, I can escort you home if you wish. We must get there before your family takes your home."
"I nearly forgot about that." Bilbo said, a new look of angry determination growing on his face. "Logically, we have to be nearly out of here. We've been going on forever." The hobbit called frustratedly, and picked up his pace. Agarwaen nearly laughed. A true adventurer, yet he still loved his home more than anything else. Hobbits were quite curious indeed.
"I think I shall take you up on that offer when this is over. I don't think I'd ever get home by myself." He admitted.
"I'm sure Gandalf will come with us, too." Agarwaen looked around then, feeling growing concern, but she wasn't sure why. The presence of thicker and larger webs seemed to escape her, as if the forest had poisoned her sight. When she looked back at Bilbo, he had a confused look on his face.
"What is it, Bilbo?" He looked up at her, and blinked long and hard.
"Nothing, I just...I think I'm seeing things." She looked to all the other dwarves, who also were looking at themselves and each other oddly. Then there was a commotion from the rear of the group.

"Bombur!" Bofur shouted happily. Everyone turned to see the dwarf in question roll off the sled and hit the ground with a thud. Smiles erupted all around, and the confusion of the forest was soon forgotten.
"What happened?" He asked, rubbing his head.
"You fell into the enchanted stream, and you've been asleep for days!" Gloin explained, helping the fat dwarf to his feet.
"The enchanted stream? What enchanted stream? And where are we?"
"We're...we're in Mirkwood, remember?"
"The last thing I remember are the goblins." He looked around.
"The goblins? That was weeks ago!" Bofur said.
"Well, you can tell me of all that has happened over supper. I'm starving."
"Bombur..." Dwalin began. "We have no food. Haven't had any for almost three days now." Bombur nearly fell over.
"What? Why did I ever have to wake up? I was dreaming, and there was food, and a feast going on forever and ever. There were so many kinds of meats, and fruits, and wines, and--"
"If you cannot talk about something else," Thorin interrupted, looking very close to murder, "Then be silent. We are already annoyed with having to drag you along for days, and we would rather not listen to you speak of food when we ourselves have had empty stomachs for quite some time." Bombur nodded sadly, and followed along with Bofur filling him in on everything that had happened from the back of the group.
Their spirits had soon returned to what they had been before Bombur woke up, and Agarwaen didn't really notice the webs until the forest was practically white with them, and she'd nearly tripped over a string of webs by her feet.
"What..." She muttered to herself after crouching down to poke the sticky web. Looking up, she then heard someone begin talking about finding a tobacco pouch.
"We're going around in circles!" She heard Bilbo's voice, and stood back up. "We are lost!"
"We are not lost." Thorin argued. "We keep heading east." Everyone began to question if they really were, and which way east actually was. The questioning morphed into arguments, about who had the best direction and who was the 'expert'. They started to fight and it made Agarwaen's head pound.
"Enough! Quiet, all of you." Thorin called. Agarwaen squeezed her eyes shut and rubbed her temple to try and relieve some pressure. That's when her eyes flung open. She could hear...things. Like legs. Lots and lots of legs. There were branches breaking above them, and she looked up, only to see nothing.

Everything then happened so fast, she could barely comprehend it all. Gigantic spiders, the size of horses dropped from the tree canopy where she'd just been looking. Screams erupted from the group as swords were unsheathed and axes dug into spiders faces. There were over twenty of them, and no one could keep up. She sliced off one's leg, and was about to attack another one, who was currently wrapping poor Ori up in it's webbing, when a sharp pain pierced her side. She gasped as a tingling sensation immediately spread throughout her body, making her limbs go numb. She stumbled forward for a few steps, before rolling her ankle and falling to the ground.
The next thing she knew, she was falling through the air, wrapped in a thick coat of spiderwebs. She wriggled and tried to rip the webs from her face so that she could breathe as she fell, and hit the ground with a thud. The other dwarves were already on the ground, trying to get the webs off themselves as well, and she clumsily stood up, trying to shake a big clump of web off her hand so she could at least wield her sword.
Everyone began to run, and she fell in line behind them, pulling Ori along with her. More spiders seemed to crawl out of nowhere, and leapt onto the group. She stabbed one's middle as it flew over her head, and it fell on the other side of the company, crumpled up and dead. Now it seemed they finally had an edge, slicing and stabbing as they ran. As the dwarves ripped the legs off of one on top of Bombur, she leapt on another that was headed for Thorin, and dug her blade into its head.
Even though they'd killed so many already, more kept coming, dropping from the trees and jumping out of the brush. A flash of blonde hair whizzed past her, sliding under a spider and gutting it, before standing right up and pointing a notched arrow at Thorin's head. She then felt a sudden presence behind her as a blade slipped around in front of her neck. She gritted her teeth, knowing now that her hours were numbered.
"Do not think I won't kill you, dwarf." Legolas sneered at Thorin as about thirty elves surrounded the group. "It would be my pleasure." Agarwaen was forced forward and pushed into the surrounded group of dwarves. She stumbled into them, and looked over at Legolas, who's eyes widened.
"Leithiandes?" He was shocked that she would even dare venture into the forest, and with dwarves no less. Kili's cries for help made them all turn in fright to see the prince being dragged away by another spider.
"Kili!" Several dwarves yelled along with Agarwaen. She drew her bow, but an elf stepped up and ripped it from her hands. She shoved the man away and tried to grab it back, but two more stepped forward with arrows pointed at her head.
"Amarth Faeg." She sneered at them, and turned back to see if there was any possible way to get to Kili. It seemed she didn't have to, however, as Tauriel joined the scene and killed the spiders.
"Leithiandes, is that really you?" Legolas asked.
"The one and only." She straightened her back. If she was going to die, she'd spend her last few hours standing tall. "It's been a while."
"What are you doing here? You know we have no choice but to bring you in. And what happened to your voice?"
"I know, I've lived a good life, and that's a story far too long to tell for my situation." She threw down her sword and daggers, knowing there was no way out of this now. Not with thirty elves with arrows at the ready. Some of them stared open mouthed at her, others had no reaction.
"What business do you have with dwarves? Another one of your foolish decisions regarding these filth?" He narrowed his eyes at her. "Search them." He ordered the other elves as Kili was brought back to the group.
"Call them filth one more time, and it won't be only one murder I will stand trial for, Legolas." She stared him down, her blood boiling as another elf rummaged through her things, removing anything that wasn't clothing.
"Oh, there is no trial at this point, Leith. It's straight to the chopping block."

Interface
Welcome to the World-City of Thousel, the sixth iteration of life on the planet. These are the recordings of the people of Thousel. Thousel is believed to be the second longest iteration of life, and the overall most prosperous compared to what we know about the past five iterations. Medicine and technology have all progressed abundantly, and the world itself has been turned into one great city, governed and managed by the Governmental-Company Alliance, or the GCA.These particular recordings concern the discovery of a peculiar machine. When two very different people find themselves bound by the fate of one mysterious bot, life in the World-City begins to change… Interface is a cyberpunk webnovel set in an ecumenopolis world where people evolved with electro-sensory abilities. These senses shape the face of modern technology and life in a world where the three largest corporations run what has effectively become the government. Each of these three companies control various aspects of life in the city, and they all constantly vie for domain and power over one another. The world stands at the precipice of biological, technological, and historical breakthrough. After decades of study into microbiology, archaeology, and geology, it has been discovered that sentient life has lived on the planet multiple times over. These past peoples are referred to as the “prior iterations of life,” and it is believed that five great civilizations were constructed before the rise of the modern world. No one can be sure for certain what caused these peoples’ extinction long ago, and the theories range from simply dying off over time to massive tectonic fractures in the face of the planet. Advanced technology, far more complicated than anything the people possess today, has been uncovered in multiple locations. This has lead scholars to speculate on exactly how long each iteration of life survived and how far they progressed as a society. None of the companies have been able to find a way to make this ancient technology work for their own profit. It is as though they are each missing the final key needed to unlock these centuries old secrets. What could this knowledge reveal about the nature of life across every iteration? What power could it give to the one who wields it?Far from the investigation into the origin of life, two kids unlock a new mystery – one that ties their fates to the discovery of an old, mysterious robot. Suddenly, eyes begin to turn towards them as life in the city of Thousel changes wherever they go…
