You smiled, buttoning your white blouse. You were going on a date with your boyfriend, Finney, to some type of library/book store cafe. It would be perfect, just the two of you, alone. He was picking you up in ten minutes, and as much as he always told you that you looked perfect, regardless of whether you were dressing up or not, you still loved to dress up for him.

Finally, you heard the familiar shy knock on your door, and your mum screamed "Y/N FINN'S HERE!" at the very top of your lungs. You sprinted downstairs, hugging him happily. Your mum knew you were together, and she thought it was the cutest thing.

"Finn!" you smiled happily, your grip tightening on him. "Hey!" he smiled, hugging you right back, just as tight. "Ready to go?" he asked, letting you go from the hug. "Yup! you smiled back, grabbing your wallet.

As you guys started to walk out of the house, he stared at your wallet. "What is it, love?" you asked, noticing his creepy stares. "It's just well, why did you bring it if you weren't using it?" he asked, pointing towards your wallet.

"Well, I was going to buy some books, and my food, so it isn't useless." you said, smiling. "I'll buy it, I thought we had established that." he said, smiling and wrapping his arm around you. He pulled you closer to him, kissing your cheek.

Once you guys arrived at the bookshop, Finney requested a romantic table beforehand, so you guys sat down right away. He smiled at you, looked at the menu, then said "so uh, if it's okay with you, I was thinking we would eat, buy some books, and then read" you nodded back, eyes peering on the menu.

You noticed they had your favorite cafe dish, but it was such a large portion, that you knew you could never eat all of that, so you looked at Finn. "Hey babe?" you asked, looking at him with a smile. "Yes love?" he asked, setting down his menu.

"They have my favorite dish! But the portion is too large..so could you maybe share it with me? It is fine if you don't want to!" you said, pleadingly. "Sure love, what's the dish?" he asked, smiling more now.

"Oh its d/n (dish name)!" you smiled, and he nodded. "Sounds good, darling" he said, taking a sip of the complementary water. You smiled, as the waitress took your orders, and told you where the book area was.

You looked at him, and asked "Love, can we please check out the book section! I just want to buy some books, and I can't wait!" he nodded, got up, and said "okay darling". You knew they would ring the bell and call the number when your food was ready and served.

You ran into the library, the smell of new books overwhelming your sense of smell, wafting into the air. Finn was close behind you, hugging you from behind as he reached you. "Lets go!" you smiled, running off to your favorite genre section.

You picked out exactly four books you wanted to read, whilst Finn had three. "Lets go pay!" he smiled, grabbing your books and setting them on top of his, then carrying them to the counter.

There was a woman at the counter, and she looked at Finn, winked, and said "hey pretty boy, these for you?" you looked at her angrily, as she flirtatiously talked to your boyfriend. "Hey, can we just buy our books please? I have a girlfriend" he said, sternly.

The woman rolled her eyes and checked out the books. She seemed upset and pissed, which was strange after she tried stealing your man. Finally, the bell rang, saying that the order for your table (table 12) was served.

You two walked back to the table, where a huge plate/bowl of your favorite food laid, its scent overwhelming you and your hunger. You guys started eating, or you started eating. "Aren't you going to eat?" you asked him, confused.

He smiled, and said "yea, I'm just waiting until you're done and I'll take your leftovers."

"No, eat now."

"Love you deserve as much as you want, and I'll only steal it"

"Well, what I want is for you to eat, please?"

"Fine" he said, taking a couple bites of the dish. It was good, and you both shared the proportion equally. "That was brilliant!" you smiled happily. "It really was" he smiled, and you grabbed his hand.

"Come on! The reading nook is open!" you smiled, as you both grasped hands and walked towards the nook. You both sat down, and snuggled into each other. You decided to grab your first book, the one you were most excited to read.

He laid his head on your shoulder as you read, wrapping his arm around you happily, and kissing your cheek. You started to realize he was reading as well, and started waiting patiently until you were both finished to turn to the next page.

"What time does your mom want you home?" Finn asked, taking his head off your shoulder and looking you in the eyes. "I told her I was spending the night at your place" you replied, closing your book and smiling at him.

"Oh okay, tell me when you want to leave then" he said, kissing your forehead. "Alright" you smiled, as he held you quite close to him, as he returned his head back to your shoulder. After around two hours of reading and affection, you both got up and started to walk towards his place.

His house wasn't far from the shop, which was good because it was 11:00 at night, and it was practically pitch black outside. He had his arm around you the entire way back, protecting you from the creeps who walk along the streets at night.

When you got back to his house, you both laid on his couch, you on his chest, as you fell asleep in the embrace of each other.

Two soulmates together for life.
