Niall drove for 6 hours before Kurt offered to drive. The two switch spots and Niall had the chance to talk more to the one sitting on the back. He turns to them with a wide smile.

"Hey do all of you have 10 zombie crystals? I hear A base only allowing entry if you have 10 zombie crystals or an ability user" Niall asks. Kurt stops the car he might be the son of one of the leaders but the three on the back aren't. 

"Niall are you sure?" Asks Kurt, Niall nods with certainty. Kurt sighs and looks at the road ahead. 

"We need 30 zombie crystals then" Kurt answers the three in back nod thankful that Kurt and Niall will help them. 

"Well let's go zombie hunting then!" Ace enthusiastically states with eagerness. Niall looks at him and still sees a golden retriever. Kurt looks around and sees a group of zombies surrounding a car. That has been flipped it was a lot of zombies trying to get into the car. Then they hear a girls voice filled with anger.

"You little motherfudging zombies I swear once I find a way I will murder ya all! Don't roar at me like a dummy it's not like I understand you!" Niall grabs his crossbow and starts shooting the zombies only getting headshots. Kurt is impressed at how good Niall is using it. Sherilyn wanted to go kill zombies but Niall stops her. 

"Don't I can probably kill'em off without ever approaching the girl in the car has them distracted. No need for you to run the risk of getting harmed alright? Just depend on me alright?" Niall offers Sherilyn puts her head down and nods. She felt so happy inside she felt like bursting into tears. She never had someone who wanted her to depend on them. Niall eventually kills all the zombies thankfully the girl in the car got the clue. So she kept screaming so the zombies do not go to Niall and his group. 2 out of the five approaches the car and see the girl flipped backward with her seatbelt on. 

"Hey who knew seatbelts were helpful?" She laughs childishly Niall shakes his head in amusement and grabs a rock to hit the window with to break open. The girl unbuckles being careful not to be harm by the glass. She gets out in relief and laughs it off. She cleans off her clothing and fixes her shoulder-length black hair. That was an easy fix as she only needs to quickly pat down a bit. 

"Well, it looks we might have to squeeze in," Kurt says. Niall smiles nodding in agreement. 

"Thanks for helping me my name is Briesis Emerson you can call me Bree though!" She introducing herself by looking at them with her wide peach blossom eyes making her appear more younger.

[Bree actually did not die here in the original story. She made it to the A base and became a merchant that was good at conning people. No one complained as she convinced them that her words were true and made sense. She disliked the heroine the whole time that when she had the time she would spill a bit of dirt on her. The heroine never found out who spread those rumors. However, if she did Bree would be dead, good thing she wasn't as gullible as others. She died because when A base was overrun for a small while she had been in the center of it. Also even though she doesn't look like it she is actually 25]

"It's getting dark we should find shelter for the night. It's no good driving in the night the car lights attracts the zombies. If we turned them off while we drive we might accidentally run into something" Niall states. As he thinks about the original memories. Everyone thought driving like that was safe. However, apparently, the zombies above level one crystals were able to see in the dark. So it was even more dangerous for humans so the night became dangerous for everyone. He also learned zombie crystal and zombie cores are different. Zombie crystals help to strengthen the ability while zombie cores are needed to upgrade to the next level. He honestly thought they were the same things. However, zombie cores are more valuable then zombie crystals. Niall and Kurt smash the head of the zombie to get the crystals of the ones that had some. The ones that had it have a light blue mark on the head. The brighter the blue the stronger the zombie is.

"It's true the zombies in the night are more fierce than when there is daylight" Bree pitches in. Everyone comes to an agreement to head to a shelter for the night. Now with four passengers cramped in the back. They head out to find a good place to stay the night. That's when they find a small home. With an electric fence around it with the gate opened. The person who use to live their left in a hurry as when they walk in lots of clothing and food was taken. In groups of two, they searched every nook and cranny. No Zombie found not even in the garage or the backyard. Kurt locked the gate when he found out that there was a backup generator. So he fixed it up and turn it on so the electric fence can do what it does best. Niall acts to head to the car and takes out a massive trunk where he just filled it with canned goods and goods that don't expire quickly. There was also some pops because Niall hadn't had some in forever. When he brings it in the people were in shock to see so much food. 

"Let me cook alright? I can probably make some pasta with these ingredients" Niall offers. Everyone nods in excitement they hadn't had real food in so long only scraps they found. Everyone starts settling down in the house getting comfortable. Niall is in the kitchen cooking well it seems he is not cooking for his lover first. He honestly doesn't mind since his lover will have the chance to eat in the future and many worlds to come. 

"Niall, can I help?" Sherilyn asks as she comes in a bit awkwardly. Niall turns to her and nods. 

"Can you help me open these cans and unpack the pasta?" Niall asks she nods determinedly to help. Niall smiles why couldn't the original have such an obedient and kind sister?

"Um, Niall you can call me lyn" Sherilyn offers shyly. Niall laughs and ruffles the hair she was just like a younger sister. 

"Got it little sis" Niall answers Sherilyn actually laughs in joy when Niall called her sister. She prefers it then being called lyn. Niall and Sherilyn while cooking became like an elder brother teaching his younger sister. Everyone gathered to eat on the table in joy and Niall is actually having real fun. They eventually started to talk about their lovers and dates. Niall stayed mostly quiet during this.

"Hey, Niall have you ever had a lover?" Asks Saphira, Niall almost spit out his pasta. Niall looks at her in shock. 

"Um, why?" Niall asks nervously as he being stared down by everyone. 

"We want to know" Saphira answers. Niall looks through original Niall memories and sees that he did. However, they never had intercourse because they didn't have the chance the dude got killed on the day zombies appeared. 

"Um yes, but he died on the day it started" Niall sorrowfully says. Kurt pats him on the back trying to comfort him. 

"Hm well mine died like that too he was such a beautiful camera. It was killed by those zombies crushed to pieces just like my heart that day" Saphira tries to lift the mood. Niall burst into laughter he should get her a camera. Is not like he was actually sad his lover is out there still. 

"I knew you were a uke!" Bree couldn't help but burst out and says pointing at Niall. Who only blushes madly at it being pointed it out.

[He wasn't always] Leon whispers to himself.

"What is a uke?" Asks Ace innocently everyone in the table stays quite not wanting to answer the question.

At the building where Niall first woke up in the heroine and her group of three followers look for Niall. They were told if they knew a water user and convinced him to come they will gain benefits! If she knew her elder twin was useful she would never have abandoned him. Luana couldn't even find his corpse meaning he either became a zombie or he left. She is furious she told him to wait here. Now she will go empty-handed and not have benefits what a waste of a trip. She couldn't have used this time to find a way to seduce one of the leader's sons.
