《Deal》Through the hills

"I am sure she was forced," Hunter said.
I hid behind the tree and started to hear them talk.
"It's impossible. Nobody is allowed to change a human into a vampire. It was a deal." Reed said in an angry tone.
"Do you think they still follow the deal?" Hunter scoffed. "After everything they did ....." He stopped.
Reed turned his hand into a fist.
"I swear, I am gonna kill them all," he growled.
I don't know what they were talking about and what deal Reed was saying. Why is there a deal everywhere I go?
"First, we need to get answers from her," Hunter said.
"Maybe we need to let Zar know about her? He might want to meet her," Reed said.
"Not now, first let her answer the questions, and then we will let Zar know," Hunter said and Reed nodded.
Zar?
Arrow and season came towards them. They didn't seem happy.
"We found two vampires near the cliff," Season said. "Before we could do anything they ran away. I don't think they saw us but...."
"We followed them but they just disappeared," Arrow shrugged.
"I know why they were here," Hunter looked towards the hut.
"I feel the same. They were here for her." Season said.
"For now, she is safe here but we can't keep her safe for a long time," Arrow said.
Hunter looked towards the sky and sighed. They all stood there silently while I slowly went back inside the hut. I paced around feeling slightly scared. I wasn't scared of anything but Amol. I was scared I have to face him and then I have to hear what I don't want to. I didn't want to go back. Someone knocked on the door and brought me back. It was Hunter.
"Hey," Hunter said looking behind me.
"Hi," I replied.
"Can I come in?" He asked still not looking at me.
I nodded and gave him space. He walked in and I stood at the door looking at him. I know why he was here.
"I know why you are here and I want to hear it from your mouth," he said now turning to look at me.
"Ok," I said.
He was about to open his mouth to speak "I wasn't forced," I answered before he could say anything and he narrowed his eyes at me. I was ready for what was coming.
"Then why are you here?" He said taking steps toward me.
"I.... I am running from someone," I blurt out and he stopped. I cursed myself for saying it.
"Who?" He asked and I opened my mouth to speak but no word came. He was waiting for me to speak.

"I don't think I can trust you," I said instead.
He just looked at me.
"If you want me to leave, I can leave,"
"No,"
"I am not a spy or anything,"
"Why are you running?" He asked.
"I...." I couldn't come up with the right word to say and I didn't even know if I should tell him.
"Take your time. Whenever you feel like sharing you can share and come out to have dinner with us," he cut me off and left. I just looked at him not believing it. I thought he would be angry but he didn't.
I followed him out and saw everyone ready to have dinner. Everyone was sitting in the circle. Winter served everyone and I thanked her when she handed me a plate. We all ate in silence. After everyone was done, I told the girls that I would do the dishes but they didn't let me but also I helped them clean up.
I realized that both the couples left but Hunter and Season. Season gave me a smile and got up to leave. I saw him go into a hut next to where I had sat earlier and both the couple went to the huts next to Season's. Does it mean 4 huts were for them to sleep? And what was one more hut for? Maybe to store things. Hunter cleared his throat and I looked at him.
"You can sleep in the same hut with me," he offered not looking at me and I felt uncomfortable. I was about to say no when "The vampires may come back at night so I want you to think about it. While you are here, I will protect you," he said getting up and I just stared at him.
"If you are very uncomfortable then there is an extra hut too. He said showing me the hut and then walking inside.
I got up and looked around. I didn't want to sleep but go for a run so I ran. I ran towards where the river was and sat there tears rolling down my cheeks. I lay on the grass. It felt so good here in the lap of nature. I didn't want to go back but I know I need to, once I am ready. I needed answers and only one person could give me one.
"I asked you to take another hut not run away," I heard a voice which was of Hunter. I got up and looked at him.
"I just wanted to have some fresh air," I said as he said beside me.
"I know you are here for some reason," he whispered and I looked at my hands nervously.
"I won't ask you to trust us but I want to let you know that we are also running from someone," and then I looked at him surprisingly. He gave me that forced smile. It was the first time he smiled looking at me."Now that vampires are roaming here we have to leave tomorrow early morning. I want you to come with us,"

I was silent.
"Do you have any place that you can go?"
I shook my head.
"Then come with us. I promise, I will keep you safe and after we leave this place maybe you could tell us why and from whom you are running," he said and my heart dropped.
I want to tell him the truth but I didn't want to tell him about the blood. I just nodded and he got up looking at me. I got up too and we walked back. I took a hut next to him and tried to sleep but sleep never came. I walked out of the hut and lay under the tree and closed my eyes.
When it was about to get morning I felt someone coming toward me. I got alert and ready for defense but it was winter.
"Hi," she said sitting down beside me and I smiled.
"I guess you know that we are leaving?" She asked and I nodded.
"So, what have you thought about it?"
"I will come with you guys. If it's ok,"
"Of course, it is,"
She looked at the hills in front of us and sighed.
"Why do you guys live here?" I asked. That may be the stupid question I ever asked. This was their home so they live here. Nuwakot was really beautiful. I was about to say never mind but she spoke.
"This is the safest place until now," she said.
"You are hiding from...."
"Someone," she cut me off.
I wanted to ask her who but didn't. She looked towards the fifth hut where I tried to sleep.
"You see that hut," she pointed at it and I nodded.
"It used to be Ridam's place to sleep, my brother. We were seven wolves when we came here but one day he left and never came back. He left a note saying he was going back to our old home and when he didn't come back we assumed he was....killed by vampires." She said and I somewhere saw a mist in her eyes.
Vampires?
"We used to be more than just seven. We all were happy having our own wolves' village in Godawari. It was beautiful, peaceful but then the Vampires came and destroyed everything. We were able to run and save ourselves but not the others. We wanted to save them but they were already murdered and then we lost my brother too,"
Vampires as in Amol? Why would he attack them maybe it wasn't Amol. There must be other vampires too but he is a Royal so without his family's permission they wouldn't attack them.
"You must want revenge now?" I asked.
"We can't fight them. They are more powerful than us. We are just wolves who want to live in peace," she said a little hurt in her voice.
"Why did they attack you guys?"
She shrugged.
"I don't know and Hunter wouldn't tell us," she said now looking at me."I miss Godawari. It was the place where I was born. I want to fight them but we can't cause we are less and we have no idea if there are other wolves who are alive,"
"You....you must hate me too," I said looking down.
"When I first heard you were here I wanted to fight but then hunter said you are forced so we are on the same team,"
Hunter didn't tell them that I wasn't forced? Why is he protecting? me? After that, I didn't say anything but I felt bad that she doesn't know about me not being forced.
"We need to leave before the sun comes up. The vampires may know we are here and come to attack us," She said and I slowly got up.
I wanted to ask her where we are going but saw all the wolves coming out of the hut and looking at me. They turned into their wolf form and looked at me to follow them. I noticed the color of their eyes and loved it. They had forest green eyes and their wolf form was so beautiful. All wolves had different fur. Reed was black, Arrow had brown fur. Winter was grey and Aava had a golden and brown mix while Season had a grey and black mix. Hunter was white. I nodded back and ran after them. I nodded back and ran after them.
If you ask me what's the most beautiful thing you have ever seen, touched, or felt with your hands, I would say Nature. It's amazing but at the same time, Amol comes to my mind too. He was perfect too like Nature, beautiful, attractive so pure but at the same time unpredictable and full of secrets.
We ran through the hills, up and down, through the river, the waterfall, and the mist. It felt good. We ran through like more than 20 hills and after that, I lost the count. After some time they stopped. was quite tired and hungry too. They turned into their human forms. They started to walk inside the forest and I followed them.
