She made me sit on the couch and then sat beside me. She was silent for a while and I waited for her waiting for her to start her story. I knew, that whatever she was going to say to convince me, I was not going to believe it.

"Three months before you were here for the first time, the rumors started to spread that a Vampire, while going jogging, smelled magic blood. We grew up hearing about that amazing blood that could make us strong and powerful. For years, vampires were searching for it. Many of them had even killed millions of people in search of that. We were so excited when we heard that we finally found it. We could just use a drop of that blood and we could be stronger, faster and the awesome thing was that with just a glass of that blood and we could live without drinking blood for some months or even years. The magic blood had that much magic in it."

I looked at her, feeling confused and surprised.

"Dad told everyone to find that person. Everyone gave their all to find the person but couldn't. So, Amol started his search and that's when he saw you in that cafe......

Amol's POV

I was near the town, in search of that person with magic blood. Yeah, the blood that could give us so much. Just a little portion of it and we could be stronger and faster than we were now. I was quite tired of the search, so I went to the cafe and sat there. That's when my eyes caught her. She didn't have any charm, any smile on her face. She looked terrible. Her elbow was rested on a table and she was leaning her cheek on her hand like she was thinking deeply about something.

I sat there for some time thinking about my own things and again when my eyes went to her she was in the same position. Her coffee was in front of her but she was just staring at it. After some time her phone rang and she turned it off. I stared at her and I don't know why but I felt something inside me. I wanted to go near and comfort her, but why? She was just a human and it was the first time I had ever seen her. I was about to leave when she got up and accidentally elbowed the coffee and it fell to the ground. She murmured something placing her hand on her forehead. The waiter came and she apologized time and again even though the waiter said it was ok.

I came back and was doing work but her sad face wouldn't go out of my head. Whatever I did, her face was roaming in front of me. I stopped working and went to the garden to get some fresh air. Why was she on my mind? she wasn't so beautiful if I have to say that I was attracted to her.

"But she was a different kind of beautiful," my inner voice told me.

"She was sad, but why?"

I was pacing here and there when Rima came.

"You look tensed," she handed me a cup of coffee.

"Thanks," I sat on the bench and she sat beside me. I told her what was bothering me and she laughed.

"You can't get a human out of your mind? wow," she said and I rolled my eyes.

"Find her and get information about her. She must be something special if she got your attention," she said while leaving.

"She was right. I must find who she was," I told myself.

The next day, I went to the cafe and she wasn't there. I waited for her there for like an hour but she didn't come. I felt bored waiting and thought maybe she won't come. I was about to leave when I saw her enter the cafe.

I watched her sit on the chair and she still had that sad face, no, not sad, she seemed depressed. After she left, I followed her and saw her going towards the park. I watched her from afar. She was in deep thought. Who was she and why did she catch my attention? I saw her yesterday and it feels like I have known her for years. I wanted to go near her and talk but I stopped myself. It wasn't a good thing to go near her. She might not like it.

I went back home and talked to Rima and she felt weird like I did. I never felt that kind of pull towards anybody and she was a human. For a week, I followed her and got to know why she was always like that. Her family was a total mess. Parents were like devils. They taunted her and made her feel like shit. She was so skinny and looking at her I could feel that she wanted to end her life. Her sister was nice to her. While she was in her room, I saw her crying. I watched her from the window and it broke my heart. She completely hated her life. I wanted to go inside and comfort her. It took everything in me to not go there.

The next day, again I went to that cafe but she wasn't there. I went and found her inside the park. I thought of talking to her but as I went near her, I felt strange. I was about to touch her shoulder when I stood there in shock. I couldn't move. She's the one. Oh gosh, she is the human with magic blood. How could this happen?

She walked without even noticing my presence. She sat on the grass, laying her head on the tree. When she touched the tree she slightly flinched because she cut her finger. She was bleeding. I was afraid vampires were near and they would find her. I was about to go near her when I saw a vampire walking towards her from the back. She didn't even know who was about to attack her. Before he could do harm to her, I went and removed his head from his head turning his body into the air so he won't hurt her again. After that I sat a few feets away from her thinking she would notice me but she didn't.

I came back and told Rima about what I saw and felt. She was shocked as I was.

"You didn't bring her knowing she is the one?" She asked me.

I shrugged.

"Don't tell me you got some soft spot for that girl after keeping eyes on her for a few weeks."

"I don't know,"

"You do," she said staring at me.

"I can't let her roam like that. She is in danger. They are out there searching for her. If they come any near to her, they will find out. Even though I was able to stop one, I can't stop the others." I told her.

"So you don't want her blood?" She asked confused.

"I don't know," I sat on a bench frustrated. She came near me and placed her hand on my shoulder.

"I don't think they will find out unless she bleeds," she said in a low voice understanding that I don't want her blood.

"That's the thing. You never know when and where she will accidentally bleed. Today she cut her finger in that park where there was no knife or anything," I said.

"Why don't you bring her here?"

"Bring here? No, no, I can't bring her here,"

"You can and you must,"

"We all are vampires and she..... I don't know how will she live with us and when our parents will find that she is here they will try to harm her."

"Of course, they will. Do you think they will let her go once they find out that she is the one with magic blood? As soon as our parents go near her they will know who she is," she said.

She was right.

"I have to talk to Dad," I sat getting up.

"Not right now. You don't have to tell her or Dad anything. Just bring her here until we know she is safe out there and then we can talk to her about everything and maybe she will give us her blood," She said smiling but I didn't like what she just said. I don't want her blood.

"I don't.... Want her blood," I said not looking at her.

"I know," she said and I looked at her.

"I know that you have started to get feelings for her," she said and I was about to deny it but she stopped me.

"Don't deny it. I know,"

She was right, I can't deny that from the past week I started to have feelings for her. Hell, it feels weird. I mean who falls just after seeing someone for a few days or weeks?

"If you don't want her blood and don't want anybody to harm her then bring her here. She will be safe here, Trust me."

"You are right, I have to protect her. Tomorrow, I will bring her here,"

"You won't talk to her about this?"

"Are you crazy, Rima? She will laugh at my face. I will bring her here and then later will explain everything,"

"You are going to kidnap her?"

"No, I mean, I will ask her to come with me and then explain everything,"

"You think she will agree to come with a stranger to his house?"

Rima was right. She won't agree. For her, I was a stranger. I thought for some time.

"Kidnapping it is then, for her but for us, it's saving," I said sighing.

She stared at me for some time and then nodded.

"After you bring her here we have a lot of things to do. We have to convince our parents and that one is a tough task," she said while leaving.

I sat there with my thoughts. She was right, my parents wouldn't agree with me. They would want to use her blood and that means harming her. Deep down, I had a bad feeling. I felt like something wrong was going to happen. I told myself, tomorrow she will be here with me and everything will be fine. Convincing myself that it was just my mind thinking negatively and I will do everything to protect her and convince my parents I went to bed.
