Ang hampas ng alon
Ang init ng araw
Ang bawat bakas
Ng mga paang nagbabaklas
Ang pagihip ng hangin,
At pagsayaw ng puno,
May mararating pa kaya?
O hihinto na?
Ang pagtanaw sa dagat,
Ang pagpikit ng mata
Ang mga alaala niyang
Pinipilit na kalimutan
May mga bakas pa ng kahapon
Ang lugar na aking tinutuntungan
Mga luhang nagbabadyang umagos
Na unti unting bumubuhos.
Paano nga ba malilimutan,
Ang taong nagbigay sayo ng maraming ala-ala?
Na sa sobrang rami'y
Hindi mo talaga maaalis sa isipan.
Sa bawat luhang tumutulo
Ay parang karayom na tumutusok sa puso,
Sa bawat paghuni ng dagat,
Inaalala ang mga panahong nasa tabi ka pa.
Ang mga ibon sa himapapawid,
Ang araw na unti unting lumulubog,
Ang pagtanaw sa buwang
Unti-unting umuusbong.
Ipipikit na lang ang mga mata at tatalikod,
Bibigkas ng isang hiling,
Na sana'y tuparin.
Ang paghakbang ng mga paa,
Ang papahinang tunog ng alon,
Ang mukhang nakangiti,
Ang wakas ng istorya.

A/n:
A story in the seaside. A girl who's reminiscing the memories of the man she loves who is already dead.
Ang tabing dagat kung saan sina unang nagkita at kung saan natapos rin ang kanilang istorya na hindi man lang umusbong.
Walang closure kaya hindi makalimot, pero kahit wala nito hinding hindi pa rin naman siya makakalimot dahil sa bawat lalakeng naging kasintahan niya.
Ito lang ang lalakeng natutong pahalagahan siya kahit hindi naging sila.
