Beau POV
I couldn't sleep last night, I couldn't stop thinking about Danny. His scent still lingered in my bed. How am I going to stay separated from him.
Lewis Suddenly barged in like he always does with a large smile on his face
"Good morning sunshine" he said cheerfully as I sat up swinging my legs off of the bed
"What's the schedule Lewis" I said rubbing my tired eyes
"Well training starts at 7 you have a meeting with the Northside pack at 12, dinner with Abigail at 6" he said
"Okay thank you Lewis wake everyone and tell them to meet me in the garden in 10 minutes" I said watching Lewis nod his head and leave the room.
I changed into my workout clothes making my way downstairs. My stomach growled loudly causing me to sigh. I walked down to Danny's room sniffing the air. His scent was overwhelming, I could feel it cloud my head.
I took a deep breath trying to calm down.
Control yourself
I knocked softly walking into the room. My mate was sleeping soundly in his bed. I smiled at the sight of him and walked in. I quietly sat on the bed admiring him.
His cheeks were flushed and his lips slightly parted. His bangs laid messily in front of his eyes and his small body was curled into a ball.
His scent danced around the room making it almost suffocating. I took another deep breath calming myself
Control yourself
"Danny wake up" I said brushing his bangs out of his eyes. Slowly his eyes fluttered open and he looked at me smiling
"What time is it" he said his voice sounding sleepy
"6:45 training starts soon and we need to feed" I said he nodded tilting his head slightly. I smirked climbing on top of him and placing my hands on his hips. I placed a small kiss on his lips and slowly made my way down his neck feeling him slide his arms around my neck pulling me closer.

I began to tease him sucking on a spot between his collar bone making him whimper
"B-beau" he said softly I smiled against his skin and slowly bit into his neck sucking down his sweet blood. He moaned softly into my ear as I sunk my teeth deeper.
Control yourself
I could feel myself losing it as the delicious taste instantly brought me to life. I finished quickly retracting my teeth and looking at him. I have to stay sane
He sat up touching the spot where I bit him and crawled onto me sitting in my lap. His eyes began to swirl white as he kissed my neck. Every touch felt like fireworks on my body. I squeezed his hips holding back.
He sunk his teeth into me hitting that spot that made my head spin.
"Fuck" I groaned squeezing him tighter. He pressed his body harder against me leaving no space between us. I could tell he wasn't in control.
"Danny" I said feeling him sink his teeth deeper making me groan
"Calm down Danny come back" I whispered in his ear feeling him quickly retract his teeth and rest his head against my shoulder
"I'm sorry" he said looking into my eyes. His eyes began to go back to normal making me sigh. His face was flushed with embarrassment.
"We've got a lot to do today so get ready" I said kissing his forehead and walking out of the room.
I made my way outside seeing the pack huddled together. The cold air causing me to shiver as it touched my bare skin.
"Good morning everyone, I'm glad to see all of you" I said watching Danny come out from the pack house standing by Delaney
"Today we'll start with a 4 mile run then it's straight into combat training, got it" I yelled watching everyone nod
I watched as people began to run towards the forest following our usual trail. I waited until the last one had passed me before I began to run.

...
We were halfway through the run when I began to feel uneasy. I watched as Lewis came back to me giving me a look
"Do you feel that" he whispered looking around I nodded
"Start leading them back, I want you Gavin, Dominik, and Gabby to surround them, I'm gonna have a look around" I said he nodded looking over his shoulder once more
"Be careful" he said speeding up to warn the others. I slowed down watching until the pack was out of my sight.
I looked around feeling the presence of someone. I could hear a quick heartbeat fill my ears.
I quickly turned around seeing a man with an evil grin plastered on his face.
He had short jet black hair that fell along his forehead. His dark green eyes stared at me with a daring glint. A small amount of stubble decorated his structured face making him look older. He was strong in stature and was slightly taller than I was.
My senses were overwhelmed with the smell of werewolf blood making me cringe.
"Hello there" he said in a deep voice.
"What's a dog doing in my territory" I said hearing him chuckle and cross his arms.
"A dog huh, I guess I've been called worse" he said ignoring the question. He began to circle me looking me up and down.
"I asked you a question flea bag" I said he stopped in front of me the smirk never leaving his face
"Just window shopping" he said taking a step towards me. I felt anger run through me as the words left his mouth
"Are you trying to piss me off" I said he laughed running a hand through his dark hair
"down boy, I just happened to stumble in by accident no need to be so defensive" he said putting his hands in front of him.
" but judging by that attitude of yours you must be beau" he said I crossed my arms studying him. There was something off about him
" and who might you be" I said hearing him laugh loudly holding his stomach.
"you really don't remember me huh" he said I looked at him questionably. he didn't look familiar to me.
"no'' I said simply he opened his mouth to speak suddenly being cut off by the sound of his watch beeping. He looked down shaking his head and walking towards me
" I do have to go but don't worry" he said placing his hand roughly on my shoulder making me stand on guard
" I'm sure well be meeting again real soon" he said walking in the other direction. I watched as he quickly shifted into a large black wolf, he glanced at me one last time before running off into the woods.
I made my way back to the house seeing the pack standing out front all looking around with confused faces. I met eyes with Lewis who ran over to me quickly.
"hey are you okay what happened" he said frantically. I looked around making sure nobody was listening
" I need you to do a sweep of the territory tonight, there was a wolf" I said watching his eyes widen.
" a wolf all the way over here what the hell were they doing" he said I thought back to that look in his eyes shaking my head
" I don't know, but I have a really bad feeling about this" I said

Ancient Bones: The Changed Ones book 1 (Post-Post Apocalypse LitRPG)
Is it truly an RPG Apocalypse... if no one can see the RPG? Generations after the Fall, Mankind has achieved a balance in a world it is no longer the master of. But your prospects in this Malthusian world are limited. Johanna Milton and her friends have an answer: delve into Ancient ruins, avoid Changed beasts and mana pockets, and salvage Ancient materials, collectibles, and trinkets to sell. It pays well if you avoid the perils of the Ancient world. But when they find the skeleton of an Ancient, their lives take a strange turn. Suddenly, Talents straight out of fantasy novels become theirs. While they try to make sense of what happens, eyes turn to them, to the four who seem to break all rules. Or are they merely following them? Because, in the Beyond where he's spent 150 years waiting, one dead Ancient knows the truth. Douglas Moore has played those games often enough when he was alive to make sense of the System that rules the Changed world. He can no longer act on his own, but he has access to the Interface. And four people for which he can bring whatever it takes to face the world. Change is coming. The Changed Ones is a slow-burn litrpg fantasy trilogy (Ancient Bones, Ancient Books, Ancient Bonds) set on Earth, 150 years after the RPG Apocalypse... which mostly failed. It is an homage to the venerable ancient RPGs of the Golden Box era, the Baldur's Gates, and many others, offering adventure where You must gather your party before venturing forth. Keywords: LitRPG, realistic setting, low-leveling, post-post-apocalypse, fantasy earth, slow-burn, secondary POVs, female primary MC, team adventure, worldbuilding. Trigger warnings: casual swearing, adult innuendo (no explicit scenes whatsoever, though). Oh, and potentially a bit of politics. Bonus content: a Litrpg Easter Egg hunt. With lots of eggs across the book, some easy, some hard to find. Current score: 6/20 (20 eggs, 6 found) Publication schedule: on hold until September for book 2.

The Loyal Ones [Dark Biopunk Fantasy]
TLDR; A slave monster survives horror, war and servitude, while trying to live with himself. Thralls are a race of monstrous slave soldiers, in a universe where biological magic takes the place of technology. Centuries ago, their ancestors were desperate humans, who volunteered to be transformed for the Poison War. Today their unfortunate descendants are still soldiers and laborers. In contract law they are 'corporate wards'; slaves owned largely by arms dealers. Dally Harper starts this story as a champion cage fighter. He is one of the 'lucky' ones. It's all downhill from there. Content Warning: Explicit violence and gore, slavery, implied sexual assault. None of these are framed as positive or glorified, however they do have a strong impact on the plot and main characters.
