After enjoying Christmas, it was now finally time to celebrate Jayden and the opening of his art gallery. Ever since they returned from New York, he's been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. He was sacred and nervous about the turnout. This was a big night for him, and he was unsure how things would go. He had high hopes, but he was just unsure. No one outside of his students, family, and girlfriend has seen his artwork. But that was about to change.

Jayden was a very versatile artist. He does everything from oil paintings, acrylic, abstract, pop art, to portrait painting. He was very talented, which is why his parents cashed out on his building.

"Mama, I can't find my keys!" Jayden yelled as he ran downstairs, hopping, pulling his Chestnut Numeul Ugg boots on his feet.

"O'mari! Slow down before you bust your face." Sonni grabbed him by his shoulders, stopping him in place.

"I overslept and missed my appointment to get my hair cut!" Jay let out as he tried to regulate his breathing after running down the stairs. Sonni shook her head, laughing to herself a little because he looked so distraught.

"Boog, your daddy booked a house call for you, him, and Sav. Calm down and go into the den."

Jayden looked at his mama and relaxed his shoulders. He blew out a breath while walking in the direction of the den, making Sonni laugh again. "Lord, let my baby make it through the whole night."

"Ms. Wright, are you covering the segment at the grand opening of Majesté Studio tonight?"

Looking away from the screen of her computer, Orianne looked up to see her boss standing at the threshold of her office door. "No ma'am, I'm not on call, Rodney is, and I'm actually attending the event."

Her boss furrowed her eyebrows in shock, making Juice laugh a little because she knew she wasn't able to get a ticket due to them being sold out. "How were you able to purchase a ticket? They were sold out within the two weeks they were posted and then I missed the second round."

"I have a very close relationship with the owner. I can call and see if he has any extras." Juice smirked because a close relationship was a simple understatement.

"Please, if it's not any trouble."

Juice nodded her head and opened up the drawer of her desk, grabbing her phone. She liked her boss and didn't have a problem with her, so she didn't mind calling her boyfriend to see if he had any "extra tickets" even though she knew he didn't. She went to her recent calls and tapped "pooh 👨🏽‍🎨💙" before putting the phone up to her ear.

"Wassup bug?" Jayden's voice flowed through the receiver, making her cheeks rise. She lived for the effect he had on her.

"Hi Mr. West, I was wondering if you have any extra tickets on hand?"

"Mr. West? You must be around your boss?"

"Yes, she missed both drops."

"Give her the one in your wallet and keep the money, baby. I just pulled up to the building to check on everything. I'll see you later, bug."

Juice nodded her head as if he could see her and grabbed her black Medium Antigona Givenchy Bag from the bottom drawer of her desk—setting it in her lap. "Talk to you later, Mr. West."

"Oo! That's a nice bag." Juice's boss pointed out making her smirk.

"Thank you. It was a Christmas gift from my father-in-law. Do you have Apple Pay, Cashapp, or Zelle?" Opening up her purse, Juice pulled out her wallet and grabbed the ticket that was originally for Kayli before she placed her purse back in the drawer of her desk.

"Yes, I have Apple Pay."

Juice received the payment after they passed information. She explained to her how the ticket worked and what to expect once she arrived at the event. After Juice attended the party thrown by the company, she retrieved her belongings and left for the day. It was New Year's Eve and she was about to have fun with her family by celebrating her boyfriend.

"Yo, excuse me! Where's the blue? I specifically asked for blue, white, and gold decorations. Why are those paintings crooked? I made it very clear that the paintings were not to be touched!" Jayden spat as he looked around his gallery. The party was due to start in a few hours and nothing was to his satisfaction, so he was pissed. He pulled out his phone, and went to his call log and tapped "1st lady 🫂💛🔗", calling his mama.

"Ma!" He yelled once she answered, making her pull the phone away from her ear.

"What's wrong, boog?"

"Nothing is right, mama. The decorations aren't the right colors, the tables aren't set up right, they touched my paintings. Everything is just fucking wrong!" Jayden looked around, shaking his head, feeling himself becoming upset. He pushed the door open with force, almost breaking the glass. He then proceeded to snatch his car door open, sliding in.

"I'm on my way, baby. I'll be there in 10."

Jayden hung up the phone, tossing it into the passenger seat and staring off into space. At the rate things were going, Jayden was close to saying "fuck it" and canceling the whole thing. He stared at his building and shook his head, blowing out a breath.

As Sonni was climbing into the front seat of her husband's Bentley because she couldn't find any of her keys, she quickly pushed the start button and connected her phone, dialing a specific number. It rang for a few seconds before it was answered. "Juicy, are you still at work?"

Sonni asked as she quickly whipped out of the gate, driving down the road.

"No ma'am, I just left the nail shop. What's wrong?"

Looking in her mirrors, Sonni increased her speed and passed the car in front of her because it was driving too slowly for her liking. "I need you to meet me at the gallery. The decorator and planner done messed up; nothing is right, and they done touched his pantings."

On the other end of the phone, Juice sighed because she knew she was about to act an ass. She hit a u-turn, speeding off towards the direction of the gallery. "I'm on my way, mama."

A few minutes later, both of Jayden's main ladies were pulling up behind him. Looking in the rearview mirror, Jayden furrowed his eyebrows once he noticed his girlfriend stepping out of her Range Rover. Grabbing his phone from the seat, he slid out and approached them. He pulled Juice into him, giving her a big hug as they both inhaled each other's scent, enjoying each other's warmth. "What are you doing here?"

"Mama called me on her way here. I know I told her not to say anything, but I'm the one who paid for the decorator. It was supposed to be a secret gift, but since I'm about to show my ass, it's not a secret anymore." Juice gave a tight-lipped smile as she pulled the door open, stepping across the threshold. She instantly stopped walking as she looked around with a frown on her face.

"Y'all got me fucked up! So what are we doing now? Halfassing on the job? Doing the job poorly? Is this what I pay y'all to do? Is this what my father paid y'all to do? My boyfriend had a vision that I kindly passed on to y'all, and yet y'all are not doing your fucking jobs! The party and opening are happening in a few hours and nothing is fucking done! Y'all have been working for three days. Three fucking days! What's the hold up? Just because this doesn't have my father's name on it doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. If I'm paying you THOUSANDS of dollars, I expect shit to be done right! Get to work before I call him, and then all of you will be out of jobs. Touch another painting and you're paying for it."

Both Sonni and Jayden stood with shocked expressions on their faces as they listened to Juice go off. The mother and son duo glanced at each other as they took a step back simultaneously. They were so used to her calm and sweet demeanor that they didn't know what to say or do, so they'd rather just get out of the way and let the workers feel her wrath, which they indeed felt.

Juice turned around, facing her boyfriend and his mother with a wide smile on her face, as if she didn't just go off on the decorator and workers. Jayden smiled awkwardly, unsure of what to say, or if he should say anything at all.

"Pooh, I'm about to go home and take a nap. What time are you picking us up?" Juice asked, as she stepped into his personal space, staring in his face. She reached up, removing loose eyelashes from his cheek. While doing so, the color of her nails caught his attention.

Jayden grabbed her hand, smirking. Her nails were medium-length, coffin-shaped, and painted in a pretty royal blue. Both of her middle fingers had a gold and white cursive 'J,' obviously for Jayden. "These are going to look good around my—."

Before he could even finish his sentence, a hand went upside his head, making him wince and laugh. Sonni smacked him because what he was about to say wasn't for her ears and she figured he had lost his mind. Juice covered her mouth to conceal her laughter as she looked off to the right.

"O'mari don't make fuck you up! You see me standing here."

Laughing and flinching, Jayden stepped back to dodge her hits. "Aight lady, dang, that hurt but bug, we're going to be pulling up around 7:30ish, 8 o'clock. You're riding with me and everybody else riding in the sprinters."

Juice nodded her head and triple pecked his lips. "See you later, pooh, and Ma, I'm going to call you before I go to sleep."

Before both Jayden and Sonni went home, they went by their restaurant to make sure everything was going according to plan. When they pulled up, the workers were actually loading up the catering van. Yes, Jayden used his father's steakhouse to cater because why would he go somewhere else when they're capable of doing what he wanted and better? The restaurant was closed today anyway.

Hours later, it was now time for both families to get ready to celebrate Jayden and bring in the New Year together. It was going to be a night to remember. Covered by her yellow satin robe, Sonni was standing in front of Jayden with the lent roller as she rolled it up and down his pants. "Hold your arms out for me, boog."

Jayden did as told, watching his mama move back and forth with the lent roller.

"Nunu, you're the oldest, so you need to make sure everyone is on their best behavior. Y'all fuck up my boyfriend's night. I'm dusting my gloves off and I'm not playing." Juice said as she sat at her vanity doing her make-up.

Amris's eyes went wide before he frowned. "Bye, you box better than all of us. Lemme go tell these niggas what you just said because I refuse to get my ass beat."

Juice laughed out loud as she listened to them holler and fuss from downstairs. She knew they would be on their best behavior, but when Italians get to drinking? You never know what's going to happen. After she finished her make-up, Juicy made her way into the bathroom and began removing the pins from her curls, letting them fall. Instead of using a comb, she wrapped each curl around her index and middle fingers, stretching it out before running her fingers through the curl.

While Juice finished getting ready, Jayden was making his way downstairs, smiling as a flash went off. He knew it was nobody but his mama.

"Oooo! That boy looks good! I'm trying to get like you, mister business man." Xavier hyped his eldest son up while dusting off his shoulders.

"Boy close yo mouth! You blinding me." Savion held his hand up, blocking his eyes, making everybody laugh.

"Come here, boog!" Pawpaw yelled at him, making Jay look at everybody who was just as clueless as him. He shrugged and stepped off the last step, going into the kitchen where his grandfather was.

"Wassup, Paw?"

"Take your Rolex off for me."

Jay looked confused, but he took it off anyway, setting it on the table. Paw pulled out a black box from a gift bag and sat it on the table, making Jayden's eyes grow wide. "Paw, stop playing!"

Paw chuckled and pushed his glasses up on his face, opening up the box. "Only the best for you. Me and Momo are proud of you. The whole family is proud of you. Here's part two of your opening gift. Congratulations boog, you deserve it!"

In the black jewelry box was a Hublot Spirit Of Big Bang Royal Blue watch, valued at eighty thousand dollars. When Paw said the best for him, he wasn't playing. "Pawpaw, are you trying to make me cry?"

Jayden shook his head and pulled his Paw into a hug. The night had just started, and here he was already in good spirits. Nothing could ruin his night, could it? After the small family photo op, they all piled into the sprinter while Jayden climbed into his Momo's Rolls Royce Cullinan. Some would say that Jayden's family was doing too much just for the grand opening of an art gallery, but they had the means to be "extra," so why not do it? Yes, the Wests are wealthy and live a luxurious lifestyle, and you can't take that away from them. They're very proud of Jayden and are going to do whatever it takes to let him know.

"Look at that boy, looking like money! Say Jay, lemme hold something?!" Tizon yelled as he was the first one to step out of the Governor's Mansion.

"Tizon, get out of the way before I beat you up!" Juice expressed as she strutted out of the door, making Jayden shake his head while meeting her halfway.

"Damn, Orianne. Do a spin for me, bug." He grabbed her hand and extended her arm as she spun around. Juice's body was cladded in a royal blue sequin stitched bodycon long sleeved dress that sculpted her body like a glove. The sequin stitching was placed on her chest and on the right side of the dress, showcasing her thigh.

Jayden pulled her body into him roughly but sensually, earning an involuntary moan from her. Jay smirked as they both stared into each other's eyes. Rubbing his hand up and down her back, Jayden slowly moved his hand down until he cuffed her right ass cheek after smacking it.

"Look at these muthafuckas here! Aye! Cut that out before I get my belt!" Azaire and Cassius yelled, making the duo laugh and pull apart.

Pulling the passenger door open, Jayden helped juice inside before shutting the door. He then jogged to the driver's side, sliding in himself. Once everybody was safe and secure in both sprinters, Jay pulled off with them following behind. Due to the New Year's Eve traffic, it took them a minute to make it to the gallery. When Jayden pulled up, he couldn't hide the shocked and surprised expression on his face at both of the lines.

Because of the rollout, you would think Jayden was a celebrity about to perform or just simply host. But because of his last name and who his parents were, the rollout and turnout were going to be huge regardless. It was also New Year's Eve, so people were going where the best party was. Juice looked at her boyfriend and shook her head because he looked good and couldn't wait to wrap her pretty nails around his third leg.

Jayden grabbed the Lafayette Street Bond No. 9 cologne from the arm rest and sprayed a little behind his ears, on his wrist, neck, and lastly, his body. Juice smirked. "Let me find out if you are trying to get ate up tonight."

He looked at her and matched her smirk. "Maybe."

She leaned over the console and gripped his neck, pulling him level with her face. She licked him from his chin up to his lips. "Drink up because I'm sluttin' you out tonight."

Juice gave him a kiss before she sat back in her seat. Jayden couldn't do anything but shake his head. He killed the engine and opened the door, stepping out. He smiled, showing off his diamond mouth piece as flashes went off. He went around to the passenger side and pulled the handle, letting the door extend out. He grabbed Juice's hand, helping her out. He pulled her dress down, making sure her goodies weren't showing. Jayden held her right hand in his left, securing her behind him, in his back, as they walked down the sidewalk with the family behind him.

"How y'all doing tonight? I know it's cold and everybody is ready to get inside, so I won't make my speech long. For those of you that don't know me, I am Jayden West, and I'm the owner of this art gallery. All paintings and artwork were done by me and my students. I would like to thank God, my family, and girlfriend for their utmost love and support, but most importantly, I would like to thank my parents because without them I wouldn't be here today. I wouldn't be the person I am today. I wouldn't be standing before you today. I wouldn't be the man I am. Without their guidance, motivational speeches, and push, I doubt if Majasté Studio would have existed. I had a lot of times where I wanted to give up and just forget my passion, talent, and purpose. With that being said, please, I mean please, never let your past and traumas hinder you from being you. Don't let them make you, you make them. Without further ado, Majasté Studio is now open!"

Jayden screamed the last sentence as he took the giant gold scissors from his father's grasps and cut the large blue ribbon. He smiled and held the scissors up in the air as applause sounded. He stood in the middle of his parents, smiling for the cameras as he tried not to cry.

"Y'all ready to party?!"

It was around 11 something, almost midnight, and the party was in full swing. After the showcase and small auction, the DJ had everybody on their feet moving. The servers were walking around with champagne trays and food trays, providing them to those with gold cards.

"Real ass bitch, give a fuck 'bout a nigga! Big Birkin bag, hold five, six figures! Stripes on my ass so he call this pussy Tigger! Fuckin' on a scammin' ass, rich ass nigga!Same group of bitches, ain't no adding to the picture!Drop a couple racks, watch this ass get bigger! Drinkin' on liquor, and I'm lookin' at your nigga!" All the girls in attendance screamed the lyrics to Act Up by City Girls, earning stares from their dates and men.

Jayden laughed and pulled Juice into him as they rocked side to side. "You a city girl, huh? Lemme find out, but open ya mouth for me."

Juice did as told, which resulted in Jayden pouring 1942 down her throat. He licked and sucked on her neck, getting what spilled. They were so lost in their own world that they didn't even realize the police were making their way through the building. Once the music stopped, their heads shot up and they stepped back in shock. Both Jayden and Juice looked around looking for their parents.

"We're looking for a Jayden West?"

Jayden looked at Juice, and Juice looked at him. Xavier, Sonni, and Orin Sr. shot across the floor once they noticed the police in the middle of the floor as the crowd eased back, giving them space.

"What seems to be the problem?" Sonni was the first to say something because although Xavier was pardoned for his crimes, he still had a reputation with the police only because he was a black man.

"We're looking for Jayden West. He's wanted for the aggravated assault against Kambria Robinson."
