Everything was so natural when it came to them. If people didn't know them you would've never thought that they've just rekindled their friendship days ago.
Sitting on the somewhat comfortable couch, Sadie laughed at the immature responses Jay which was short for Jordan and Brad which was short for Brandon gave to the topic today. She was a little nervous coming here to the podcast but Jodie asked and she couldn't say no. Seeing and hearing her laugh in person, ran chills down her spine. She didn't catch herself staring until, Jodie looked over with a confused look.
The two locked eyes for a second before Sadie couldn't handle no more of the intimidation. Looking in Jodie's eyes had you feeling like she was looking through your soul.
"All I'm saying is, if she got away then she never was the one" Jay said, slamming his hands on his lap as if he made a valid point.
"I agree" Brad pointed towards him, "there's no such thing as everyone having that one person they feel was the one that got away. If she got away then she wasn't for me, simple"
Sadie sat there holding on to the glass of wine that was casually sitting in her hand. She voiced her opinion about the topic from earlier but this one—this one hit home for her.
"You niggas are dumb" Jodie claimed, "so y'all never had that one raw ass female. She was everything you've ever wanted and more but you couldn't get it together, meaning the relationship didn't work or last because of you"
"Y'all lying if you say no" she nodded her head.
"Nope" Brad said adding an emphasis on the 'p'
"I'll admit" Jay mumbled, hoping that nobody heard him. Holding tightly on his custom designed wine glass that had his jersey number plastered all over it.
"See" Jodie pointed to him, "speak your truth my brother"
"It wasn't really that long ago to be honest," he stated as he started to daze into space, " this had to be about my senior year of college so—about two years ago. I was kicking it with this girl and knowing me I already was one of the star athletes on campus. Everyone knew I was going to get draft after graduation—"

"Boring" Brad cut him off, causing Sadie to laugh a little. Their relationship was a love and hate thing but it kept the podcast entertained.
"Let him finish dipshit" Jodie fumed, go ahead Jay" she motioned for him to continue.
"Anyway she was cool as fuck. Stayed out the way, came over to my dorm every night after late practices to give me massages. Made sure a nigga was eating three times a day—" he looked at all of them one by one, "Do you hear me! Three times—breakfast, lunch and dinner. But I just couldn't control my horny ass hormones. I was sleeping around and for a while she still stuck beside me"
"Damn she stayed after catching you cheating" Jodie chimed in, "RIDER" she yelled
Jay nodded in agreement, Sadie was just sitting there intrigued by the story. What she couldn't understand was how could people know that you're good for them and still do wrong by you.
"Man she was the definition of a rider but I fucked up and got one of my hoes pregnant. And I love my daughter I do but—if I never slipped up like that I probably would've still been with ole girl"
"Awwww" Brad faked wiped tears, "it's never to late to get her back"
"Shit I tried, she's married with a son now" Jay shook his head, "that shit broke my heart when I seen it"
"What about you" Brad nudged Sadie in the arm, "you ever let one get away?"
Jodie eyes burning a hole into Sadie. She felt the pressure in the room, her story wasn't nothing in comparison to Jay's because her person was right in the room. "Uh yeah something like that" she said
"You got a sappy backstory like Jay" he asked causing Jay to flick him off.
"I mean" stealing quick glances over at Jodie, "it was back when I was younger—it doesn't matter now"
"Gone ahead don't be shy" Jay spoke
Being shy wasn't the problem, it was the fact that the person she was thinking about was currently looking dead at her. "I was friends with this person. It was just a situation where I didn't tell them how I felt."

"Damn" Jay said, watching Sadie. "That's even worst than mines"
"Nigga how you figure" Brad frown , "you had a good one and cheated. Sadie just didn't tell her person how she felt"
"But why" Jodie finally spoke up, "do you think it could've been a possibility that you two would've been together right now today?"
"Nah" Sadie nodded, bringing the rim of the glass to her lips, "this person has a whole new life and I'm glad for them" shrugging her shoulder, "it just wasn't meant to be. That's how I see it"
"How would you know" Jodie asked, her eyes never leaving Sadie's, "you never spoke up"
"It doesn't matter" Sadie replied trying to get the attention taken off from her.
Jay nodded while Brad just stared like he was confused. Jodie didn't say anything, and Sadie was wondering why. Why was she so invested in her person that got away. "Well" Jay spoke up ending the silence, "this concludes the end of Lips & Wine, hosted my homie JodieP"
"And we as a family want to give thanks to Sadie—the runway model that's giving LA a for run its money. We greatly appreciate you taking the time out your schedule to be here"
"No problem, came for a friend" she smiled, looking over at Jodie for a quick second.
Brad got up from the couch and walked over to the camera that sat in front of them to cut it off. "We gotta get you to come back" he said, grinning, "aren't you friends with Crystal Stars" he spoke again.
"Nigga" Jodie chimed in, "Sadie ignore him, he slid into her dms and she left him on read"
Jay busted into laughter causing Brad to scrunch up his face. "She didn't leave me on read" he told, "she just accidentally forgot to respond"
Jodie waved him off as she stood from the couch turning towards Sadie. She stuck out her hand to help her up. She looked up at her for a minute before taking her offer and being pulled from the couch. "Let me walk you to your car" she said
The two walked out the studio and down the hall out the building. As Jodie walked ahead of her, Sadie took this opportunity to gaze at her appearance. The burgundy shorts she wore, matched her mid Air Jordan Ones. The simple black shirt complimented her skin—today her hair was different from the braids she usually wore, today it was in a messy bun showing off her freshly cut hairline.
When they approached Sadie's Jeep, she turned to motion for her to unlock her doors. Fumbling in her purse she pulled out her keys and chirped the door. "Thanks for coming" she smiled, pulling the door open, resting her arm over it.
"Can I tell you something" she asked, leaning on the door as Sadie slid into the drivers seat.
"Sure"
"I'm glad we met again" she said eyeing Sadie as her tongue swiped over her lips, "and I'm sorry for doing you how I did all those years. You were nothing but a good friend to me and you didn't deserve that. So—"
"I'm going to do better and make it right by you. I'm not saying our relationship would be how it was five years ago but it's going to be something."
As she spoke to her Sadie couldn't help but to watch her every movement. With every word that left her mouth Jodie would avoid eye contact when Sadie's eyes locked on her. She spoke to her as if she was nervous but to Sadie— she had nothing to be nervous about.
"Drive safe" she said once again. She leaned in to pull her into a hug. Whatever fragrance she wore made Sadie knees buckle. "Text me when you make it home Aight" she furrowed her brows making sure she understood.
She couldn't help but to just nod. Jodie shared the same gesture before closing the door, giving her one more glance before walking off. Sadie watched her in her rear view mirror until she went back into the building. Yet another time she let her walk away.

The Werewolf Cheerleader
Being a cheerleader is easier than being a werewolf. Jessica Tumbleleague is a typical teenage girl who loves being a cheerleader at Moondale High. But after an encounter with a werewolf in the woods, Jessica discovers a frightening world she never thought is real. Dangerous magic, deadly fierce spirits, and other malevolent creatures. Now Jessica must fight the forces of darkness to protect her hometown while balancing her supernatural life with her high school life. But can she control the beast within herself? Note: This is a rewrite of the original with the same name. I decided to change the third-person style to first-person because I liked Jessica's voice better. She is funny and very strong. With the story only focusing on her, I can keep the mystery suspenseful and the reader can experience what Jessica is experiencing. It is a typical YA style, but it is fun to write as your main character. There are changes, but the first and second books will be similar to the third-person chapters. Let me know what you think and I hope you will enjoy this new version of the Werewolf Cheerleader. I will post the chapters every Friday in the afternoon. P.S, there is a Werewolf Cheerleader short story published in the Tales of Dungeons, All Hallows book. Titled The Werewolf Cheerleader: Castle and Ghouls. The short is also in first-person, which made me decide to change the book series into first-person. The link is below if you want to check it out. https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B08MCS82R5

A Beginner's Guide to Napping, Sunbathing, and Slaughtering Your Prey
Fang is a simple cat. Fang likes napping in the sun. Fang does not like being called Chairman Meow. Fang likes his belly being scratched for precisely 17.329 seconds. Fang does not like being punted between dimensions. Fang likes hunting and killing defenseless wildlife. Fang does not like mysterious blue boxes that appear out of thin air. Fang is having a Very Bad Day. A few things to note: Fang is a cat soul in a cat body, and that's not going to change any time soon. No cat girl evolution or possessed puppet or any of that. The slice of life tag is there for a reason. There is no epic tale here, only a cat doing cat things in a (hopefully) interesting setting. The game elements are pretty light, mostly there for flavor, so don't expect a huge amount of crunch. Nature is cruel, and cats are crueler than most.

Tale of Family - Book 1 - WIP
The world is peaceful in 2063. Fusion reactor and Diamon battery had taken care of the energetical problem. Countries were stable. Automation was everywhere. Life wasn't hard anymore, at least not in the United States of Europe. Summer break is about to start and, finally, Zoe will turn 18 and be able to play the game, Binding Fate. A simple video game, a vrmmo, but what swam under its surface wasn't simple. Power, fame and money were but the tip of the iceberg... State: Hiatus because I've an idea for another story. Quick F.A.Q. : - Yuri/female homosexual relation? Yes.- Yaoi/male homosexual relation? Maybe.- Explicit Sexual Content? Maybe.- Full Fledged Tragedy? No. Never, ever ever.- Body Modification/Body Horror? Yes. (Note: what one person think is body horror can be acceptable for someone else. If you want to see to what length I can go, read a bit of The Other Labyrinth. However, I won't go as high as quickly in the body mod/horror, so relax.- Gore? Hell yeah! I love gore! spraying blood and viscera etc...- Torture? Hurgh... maybe? Idk. Not at the start at the very least.- Memory loss/erasing? No, or at least not permanently. I basically hate this trope because it's like taking out all the character grow from a character, destroying everything that makes them what and who they are. so no.- Overpowered protagonist? You will see mufufu...- Will characters stay relevant seeing how numerous they are? YES, MOTHERFUCKING YES, I hate when characters relevance decay over time for no good reasons ^^'- Plot Armor? First of all, a definition: "Sometimes referred to as "Script Immunity" or a "Character Shield", Plot Armor is when a main character's life and health are safeguarded by the fact that he's the one person who can't be removed from the story. Therefore, whenever Bob is in a situation where he could be killed (or at the least very seriously injured), he comes out unharmed with no logical, in-universe explanation." (courtesy of https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PlotArmor I love you guys ^^) So now that this is said, do my characters have plot armour? No, because I always have an in-universe explanation, even if you don't know it yet ^^ Something is illogical or don't make sense? Read more, the answer is surely in the story ^u^- Balanced system? If you want to crush numbers and have a perfect equation balancing all the system, that's not the story for you. The system is more like a living being, and the rewards aren't forcibly tied to the level of the player. In fact, the system is purposely unbalanced ^^' Author's note: My goal here is to write a slow-paced story revolving around the bonds linking the characters, be them family, friends or lovers. Fight will be part of it, but I intend to build an actual interesting world before making truly large-scale battle happen, because the bigger a battle is, the larger its causes and effects are. I also aim at telling a story about how the characters actually help each other becoming stronger, more stable and happier. I particularly despise the lone MC type that becomes so powerful that every other character of the current setting become irrelevant beside being hostage targets, so this will not happen. I also like crafting, arrays, blacksmithing etc... so there may be crafting. Another thing I like is management game like sim-city or the like, so this while also appears, keeping in mind that I like MC's that make people around them stronger... For the tropers around here, a list of tropes that I like to use (note that I may not use all of them ^^) (this list will be updated as I dive deeper and deeper into our dear trope wiki.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BodyHorror- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SealedGoodInACan- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/YouAreNotAlone- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ZombieAdvocate (In particular since I see a lot of things that aren't human as worthy to live and to live with)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EvenEvilHasLovedOnes- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EvenEvilHasStandards- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HeelFaceTurn- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CorruptTheCutie (Note: being corrupted don't mean you're a villain, only different than before.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DefectingForLove (Of course.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/VillainousRescue- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InterspeciesAdoption (For the same reasons as zombie advocate, since I love family stuff)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrokenBird (to go with corrupt the cutie if it's a girl)Cover: "The Bard" by John Martin, 1817.
