《Steal The Male Lead》187

"When you were small, you loved hugging me. Back then, you wouldn't let go of me at all." As Chan Lihua spoke, her eyes were bright, filled with joy.
Fei Qianchi listened, a small smile on his lips. He was afraid. This type of love was scary for him, having suffered the mistreatment from his family long ago. But Chan Lihua was different. She was different from his past life. She was a real mother.
Zhu Rong grumbled, "You've been talking about this ever since he came." Deity of Fire or not, the man was jealous of his wife talking to her own son.
Fei Qianchi cocked a brow at Zhu Rong, "Father, you shouldn't be so grumpy." He smirked.
Zhu Rong's face contorted at the way Fei Qianchi addressed him, "Ugh, what a weird way to address me." He moved closer to Chan Lihua.
Chan Lihua shook her head. "You should get used to it soon. Qianchi will visit even more in the future. And, he'll also bring his husband here to."
Fei Qianchi's pupils shook. "Husband?"
Chan Lihua tilted her head, "Have you not married him yet?"
"Marry?" Zhu Rong was now confused too.
Fei Qianchi suddenly realized what was strange. Even as things peacefully settled with Su Baicheng and his relationship with Zhu Longwang was now much stronger, he hadn't married the man. He felt like smashing his head. What an idiot! He had forgotten that.
"No," Fei Qianchi shook his head, "But now I realized what I forgot. Thank you, mother." He stood up, standing up from his chair.
"Hey, are you leaving already!?" Zhu Rong rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.
"Let him return. After all, they should also get marry." Chan Lihua was calm as she said so. Her son was grown up. No matter who he married, as a mother, she would let him find his happiness. Man or woman, so long as her son was happy, she would be at peace too.
"I'll make sure to bring him here. After we get your blessings, we will get marry." Fei Qianchi replied. His mind was running with thousands of ideas, weddings and vows flying past his head. How could he forget about a wedding?
"No need for that. We'll just come to the mortal realm." Zhu Rong shrugged his shoulders as he smirked, "You have a deity here." He pointed to himself. "I'll just force the Jade Emperor to let me take a vacation."
Fei Qianchi laughed, "Alright then. Come visit soon." As he said this, his figure slowly disappeared.
Fei Qianchi opened his eyes. He was laying on the bed. Zhu Longwang was already gone from his side, the bed felt a bit empty and cold.
Two weeks passed by after Su Baicheng came to say his Vow of Blood. Ever since then Zhu Longwang was slowly digesting the truth, his brother's actions. The man was both confused and hurt, feeling like he had destroyed his brother's life. During this time, Zhu Luishui and Fei Shang had many encounters with Wei XueLu and Hong Meiwan.
Fei Qianchi was busy nursing Zhu Longwang back to health. Hence, the thought of them having a wedding was totally forgotten about. If not for Chan Lihua's words, he wouldn't have remembered. Perhaps, since they were already married in so many lifetimes, Fei Qianchi didn't think about it.
Fei Qianchi smiled as he pushed the blanket off, revealing his hard chest and his abs. He had been working hard on strengthening his body. His muscles were finally returning and he had a figure similar to when he was known as Tyrant Fei, the man who shook the modern business world.

Except for his appearance, especially his long white hair and striking blue eyes, Fei Qianchi had nothing wrong with his body. He was expecting this.
As Fei Qianchi stood up from the bed, he reached for a black robe and hung it around his body without tying it close. His hair was a bit messy but nothing huge. He still looked as appealing as always.
Rubbing his face with a wet towel and gurgling his mouth, Fei Qianchi put away the basin of water.
He could hear the swinging of a sword outside. He didn't have to think about who it was.
After a few days in recovery, Zhu Longwang was diligent in his cultivation once more. He woke up early and practiced at the break of dawn. Since Fei Qianchi normally visited Heaven in his sleep, he spent a longer time sleeping. After all, time ran differently in Heaven.
With bare feet, Fei Qianchi slowly walked to the door and opened it.
As he opened the door, he leaned against the side, crossing his arms as he stared at the man who was swinging a sword.
The man was clothed in white, a blue sword in hand shining with energy. With a beautiful profile, his black hair was tied up by a blue ribbon. His figure was sleek and thin. His purple eyes were narrowed in concentration, a purple energy shining around his body as the sword moved fast in his hand.
Fei Qianchi didn't say a word, merely watching Zhu Longwang. His everyday routine was to wake up and watch the man practice his sword. It was a beautiful scene, both mesmerizing and attractive.
Fei Qianchi could see the beads of sweat on the man's face, but Zhu Longwang didn't pause or rest. He was fully concentrated.
Fei Qianchi waited for the man to finish. While doing so, he carefully thought about how he should propose to the man. In their past worlds together, it was mostly Zhu Longwang proposing to him. This time, he wanted to make it as memorable as possible. Because in this lifetime, it was forever. He was never going to let go.
Fei Qianchi knew that it would be best to talk to Fei Shang, the man should have some ideas. And, as he imagined Zhu Longwang meeting Chan Lihua and Zhu Rong, he knew the man would be stunned. Thinking so, he smiled, stifling his chuckle.
He looked around. It wasn't overly sunny today. There were white clouds blocked the rays of sun but it was still bright. The sound of birds chirping could be heard in the further distance.
Spring was here. The weather wasn't very hot, a mild warmth.
Fei Qianchi heard the sword stop, the energy circulating the area calmed.
"Are you awake now?" Zhu Longwang slowly swung his sword, sheathing it back into place. He slowly walked over with warm eyes. There were still sweat upon his forehead, bits of his hair stuck to his face.
Fei Qianchi walked over the wooden steps with his bare feet. He leaned closer to Zhu Longwang, wiping the man's forehead with the sleeve of his robe that was still left loose, hanging off of him. "Yes. I didn't want to disturb you so I waited for you." He gently wiped away the sweat on Zhu Longwang's face.
"I've been trying to get back into shape. It's been a while since I've wielded my sword." Zhu Longwang's eyes swept over the blue sword in its sheathe. Sanfeng did not break away when Zhu Longwang died because Zhu Luishui casted a spell upon the sword.

On the other hand, Fei Qianchi had already recalled Baihe. After all, even with its past owner's death, Baihe had not shattered. Even when Fei Qianchi died, the sword remained one whole piece, merely waiting for another person to awaken it.
"You've been waking up earlier every day, it's alright to take it easy." Fei Qianchi pulled the man up, leading him towards the table.
Zhu Longwang let Fei Qianchi hold his hands as the man led them towards the chairs. As Zhu Longwang sat down, Fei Qianchi sat next to him, pulling out two tea cups along with a pot of tea as he snapped his fingers.
Magic was fun. Fei Qianchi didn't have to worry about anything. So long as the ring remained on his finger, he had access to everything he needed. As he poured the steaming tea into the cups, he already had a plan.
In this time, there were no such thing as proposal, unless it was an engagement. Fei Qianchi didn't see the point of doing anything elaborate for an engagement, he would rather put that into their wedding.
"I just want to train for a bit." Zhu Longwang accepted the cup of tea that was handed to him. He smiled lightly as Fei Qianchi cocked his brow.
"What for? Since you have some time to rest, just take it easy." Fei Qianchi didn't want Zhu Longwang to push his body too much. Although Fei Shang said that everything should be alright, it was still better to let the man rest.
"Ah, I'll be visiting Fei Shang for a bit. During this time, stay at your brother's place." Fei Qianchi took a sip of tea before he continued.
Zhu Longwang asked, "Why?" Ever since he woke up, the man had basically been by his side at all times. It was a bit surprising that the man would have something to do.
"I just need to talk about a few things with him. I'll probably be gone for quite some time. I'll make sure to return but it will take some time." Fei Qianchi knitted his brows as he said this, as if he was in a bit of a struggle.
Zhu Longwang nodded his head quickly as he saw Fei Qianchi's knitted brows. "Go, don't worry. Nothing will happen."
In all honesty, Fei Qianchi felt bad for fooling Zhu Longwang. Even so, he had to keep him in the dark for quite some time first.
"I'll be back soon." Fei Qianchi leaned forward, kissing his forehead. As he stood up, he fixed his robes, tying it around his waist as shoes and socks appeared on his feet. Holding a jade hairpin in his hair, "Can you help me do this?"
Zhu Longwang grabbed the hairpin at once as he saw the cheeky smile on Fei Qianchi's face. He struggled to stop himself from smiling, his lips trembling as Fei Qianchi turned away from him.
Fei Qianchi could feel the man's gentle fingers moving his hair. Long hair was a nuisance at times. He wanted to chop it all off, but his hair was also too pretty to chop off. Thus, Fei Qianchi had to bear his long hair. Not to mention, Zhu Longwang liked his hair too. The man often played with his hair.
"Here," Zhu Longwang inserted the jade hairpin into his hair as he slowly backed away, checking that everything was neat and tidy.
Wearing a black robe, it brought attention to Fei Qianchi's pale blue eyes and his white hair. His skin was tanner now so it made him look even more manly and otherworldly. The dragon jade pendant hung off his hips, a light purple mixed with white jade. Fei Qianchi lifted his lips up, a grin on his face as he saw Zhu Longwang staring at him.
"Do I look handsome?" Fei Qianchi teased the man. Zhu Longwang usually blanked out like this often. Lightly flicking the man's forehead, Fei Qianchi stepped closer to the man.
"Yes," Zhu Longwang's cheeks flushed with a pink tint but he still answered obediently. After encountering Fei Qianchi's shamelessness, he was now getting used to it. And, he felt more genuine now so Zhu Longwang wasn't afraid to admit his own feelings upfront to the man.
Fei Qianchi chuckled, his voice was low, lashes hanging down. Stretching out a hand, he lightly caressed Zhu Longwang's face. "Can I kiss you?" Fei Qianchi asked, his eyes blinking, appearing seductive.
Zhu Longwang felt his throat bob. No matter how often it happened, he still believed that the man was too handsome for his own good. Fei Qianchi was growing more masculine with each passing day. Now that he was tanner, it made him even more eye-catching. After all, people preferred those who were pale.
Without answering, Zhu Longwang leaned towards the man, planting his own soft lips onto Fei Qianchi.
Fei Qianchi smiled gently as he felt Zhu Longwang's lips land on his own.
Fei Qianchi closed his eyes, gently sucking on Zhu Longwang's lips, lightly nibbling it as the man gasped lightly. The sound was sweet and short. It was a low gasp, but Fei Qianchi heard it.
Backing away with a grin, Fei Qianchi winked towards the man. "I'll be back soon." He lightly kissed the man's lips one more time as he fixed his robe and waved goodbye.
Zhu Longwang watched the man vanish, leaving a wisp of blue energy behind. Lightly shaking his head, he stepped back inside, preparing to wash himself first before he would go to Zhu Luishui's courtyard.
-
"And so, I was hoping to borrow your courtyard for some time. I planned to make a jade pendant for him to match the one he gave me, but for that, I don't want him to know yet." Fei Qianchi told the man who sat opposite of him.
Fei Shang nodded his head, "So you want to propose in a way that is similar to the modern worlds?" After all, the man was the reason behind all the systems and such. Fei Shang knew about many different worlds after experimenting with countless different machines.
"Yes, something like that." Fei Qianchi nodded his head. "A ring doesn't have any meaning in this world. For both him and I, the most important item is this pendant he gave me centuries ago. I want to make him one of my own and let him keep it by his side. If we think about it, it'll match."
What point was there in a ring? For Fei Qianchi, the pendant attached to his hip was unmatchable. This pendant began their fate, the beginning of their destiny. Because of this pendant, it led to today. While there were many undesirable things that happened, if even one little thing had changed, perhaps Fei Qianchi wouldn't even exist right now.
"Alright, I'll try to help you as much as possible." Fei Shang eyeballed the purple jade by Fei Qianchi. "I have some Mingyun Jade in my possession. It's said to have been made by a dragon's breathe. The jade itself is a beautiful pale blue color, mixed with swirls of white. It's similar to the color of your eyes, just like how that pendant in your possession is similar to the color of Immortal Zhu's eyes."
Saying so, he stuck out his hand as a small chunk of jade appeared in his hand. Fei Shang handed it to Fei Qianchi so that he could inspect it.
Fei Qianchi grabbed the Mingyun Jade. It was light, not too heavy to hold. The jade itself had a cold touch to it, just enough to soothe the heat. The color was similar to the colors of his eyes, almost shining. Fei Qianchi smiled, "Can I use it?"
"Yes, it's been staying in my inventory for a while now." Fei Shang didn't hesitate to give it away. He had no use for it. In his free time, he mostly refined pills and tonics, while other times, he was busy fiddling with the machines he had made off of the future that he was able to take a glimpse at.
"I'll borrow a room then." Fei Qianchi stood up as he walked to another room. "Oh, if Longwang comes, make sure to tell him that I'm currently helping you decipher the ancient books."
"Don't worry, I'll distract him." Fei Shang smiled as the man finally closed the door, while he himself rested back on his chair.
As Fei Qianchi situated himself, he took out some of the carving knives he would need. What should he carve on the pendant? Speaking of, he still needed to fix his pendant. Thus, he took it out, only to see that the surname had restored to Zhu. Knitting his brows, he looked at the dragon that was both serene and beautiful, a lightning bolt behind it.
A dragon... in Chinese mythology, a dragon was said to be a pair with the phoenix. They were both signs of good luck, often used as a symbol of true love and joy. Together, they represented eternal love for a couple.
Since Fei Qianchi already possessed the dragon, it seemed like Zhu Longwang would get the phoenix. His lips lifted a little bit as he thought about this. Calming himself, he looked at the jade that would be about the size of his palm. He needed to be as delicate as possible. A phoenix was certainly not going to be easy to carve, it was going to take some time.
With a small carving knife in his right hand, Fei Qianchi's eyes narrowed.
-
"It's quiet." Su Baicheng closed his eyes, massaging his temple as his head ached.
The man looked even paler than usually, successfully making his lips appear even more red. When he opened his eyes, his pupils looked even more crimson in color.
"Both Hong Meiwan and Jiang Yilang have stepped out to watch the new disciples. Along with them, many of the elders have gone too." Wei XueLu stood next to the man, looking at Su Baicheng.
"Have you found out anything yet? About the man who used both Immortal Fei and I?" Su Baicheng asked, grabbing a brush as he continued to write.
Wei XueLu could only disappoint the man. "I have not. The only person who has encountered the mastermind himself is Ran Mengyu, the Lord of all Demonic Cultivators."
Hearing this, Su Baicheng's grip tightened around the brush, "That man is both too powerful and too sly. He was able to easily trick Immortal Fei in his hand. He even led me by the nose. The person ordering him around must have offered him something that cannot be given by us."
He hated it. Even after centuries, Ran Mengyu escaped every time. Even after chasing the man for so long, Su Baicheng had no clue about the person who was playing them all like a fool.
Wei XueLu stepped forward, "I will do my best to investigate."
He only hoped that it wasn't the man he thought it was...

Rekindle
My Newest, and at the same time, Oldest novel. This is a Rewrite of my very first novel that I begun when I was just starting out. It follows the story of Mark Floyd, a broken man who once tried to do what he thought was right... only to be stabbed in the back and thrown away. Now, pulled into a conflict that spans time and space, Mark has a choice to make; Stand up once more, even if it means facing an unknowable future, or let the Embers of his heart die and sink back into darkness. ----------------------------------- “For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity”. Once part of a Special Ops team in the US Army, Mark Floyd thought he had seen the worst that Humanity had to offer. That was until his final mission, one that would leave him a broken and shattered man, betrayed by the Country he served, and abandoned by society as a whole. His dreams filled with nightmares of the ones he failed to protect, mind and memories clouded by booze and more, Mark finds himself stumbling through life without purpose or desire. Life isn't done with Mark yet, however. For as long as even a single ember remains in a persons heart, here is still yet hope for the flames of Passion and Hope to be Rekindled. When the dying embers of Mark's heart catches the eyes of a Being far beyond his understanding, Mark finds himself thrown into a situation not even his years of training could prepare him for. Will this new chance be Mark's hope at both Redemption and Recompense? Or will it simply be the final nail in the coffin for a man already dead to the World? [This is a rework of my very first story. The general story will remain the same, however a few details have been tweaked, the chapters have be Edited better and some chapters have been broken down into smaller chunks for better flow and consistency. The biggest change will be to the System itself; It will be a lot less "Game-like", meaning no stats, levels or similar aspect, though skills will still be present in the form of "Programs". Instead, It'll focus more on the Sigil's nature as super-computers and how they change the world around them. This should make for a much more "natural" and less info-dumpy system.
