"We're here."
"Make sure you don't alert anyone, we have to quickly get Wuliao out."
"Wait, why are there vampires here too?"
"Just follow them, they should have an idea about what is going on. I already spoke with Shujin so just hurry up. get rid of everyone first, I will speak with him."
At this point, Wen Zhuhei wasn't sure how much time had passed. He couldn't even tell from night to day. The same process repeated, Li Yinlui would try to get an answer out of Qi Wuliao and Qi Wuliao didn't say a word about this Huang Zaijin that Li Yinlui was looking for.
The doors opened up once more to reveal Li Yinlui. Wen Zhuhei and Qi Wuliao merely looked at Li Yinlui before turning away, not finding anything strange.
"Again? You were here just a while ago." From the side came Qi Wuliao's annoyed voice.
"This will be the final time. My patience is running out." Li Yinlui walked forward, this time, in his hand, a small control was placed.
Wen Zhuhei stared curiously to see what Li Yinlui was up to now, but something told him that the control he had in his hand was definitely dangerous.
"Mr. Qi, if you really don't wish to give me an answer, I hope you know what you'll be losing." Saying this, Li Yinlui's eyes grew sharp as saw how Qi Wuliao's face gradually changed its expression.
Qi Wuliao trashed in his chains, a flash of anger in his hand. "What did you do to him? What did you do to Heliang?!"
Li Yinlui merely sneered as Qi Wuliao became distraught. "At this time, you're still thinking about that boy. Heliang, come in!"
Qi Wuliao watched in shock as the boy he loved stepped into the room, his lovable face held an innocent smile on it yet Qi Wuliao was able to see the darkness in his eyes. But, without a change in his expression, he leaned back. Even as he now understood everything that had happened, he wasn't angry or mad. He was expecting it one way or another.
"Yinlui," Su Heliang greeted as he stepped in, his normal shy demeanor was gone without a trace. Though he looked so kind, his eyes were dark. He glanced at Qi Wuliao. "Wuliao, hello."
Wen Zhuhei suddenly knew that even though Qi Wuliao didn't show a change of expression on his face, there was a change in the way his body was. It was more tense, yet also relaxed, as if he didn't care anymore.
"I see, you were always on his side. Well then, since you want to know about this Huang Zaijin, then I have to tell you no matter what." There was a smirk on Qi Wuliao's lips, his eyes narrowing.
"Shouldn't you know that no matter what, he wouldn't want to meet you. After all, you did lie to him. Wasn't that why he had killed himself when he found out your real identity?" As Qi Wuliao's lips were curved, there was a strong ridicule in the way he glanced up at Li Yinlui, not backing down.
"Where is he?" Li Yinlui's face grew more taunt, anger was rising in him.
Suddenly, from the corner of Qi Wuliao's eyes, he spotted something. He waited for his opportunity and slowly opened his mouth to say, "He's alive and well, in fact, he is quite close to you. But, you won't be able to recognize him at all."
Then, a loud noise was heard in the room as a body rushed towards Li Yinlui's, smacking him down. Not long after, someone had successfully caught Su Heliang.

Wen Zhuhei watched as Qi Wuliao stood up, his eyes glancing at Li Yinlui with a trace of regret in them. Wen Zhuhei pushed his body up with difficulty, understanding that someone had gotten to them now.
Shu Hezhen glanced at Li Yinlui. "Have you had enough?" There was a cold glare in his eyes, yet Li Yinlui merely laughed.
"Hezhen, you must've told Shujin already. But I haven't had enough, I haven't even found out about where he is just yet." Li Yinlui was not bothered from Shu Hezhen's stare. Even as his arms were bounded by Shu Hezhen's second artifact, he wasn't worried about his life and death.
Wen Zhuhei looked up, his body weak as he recognized a familiar figure standing while watching him before slowly coming towards him. He turned his face up to glance into the eyes of the man who had stopped before him.
"Shujin," The name was heavy as it left his lips.
Chen Shujin stared coldly in Wen Zhuhei's eyes, but there was a trace of anger yet relief in them that Wen Zhuhei spotted.
Wen Zhuhei smiled weakly, the vampire cared for him no matter how he tried to hide it.
[Male lead's love percentage is at 98%.]
"Do you know what you did wrong?" Chen Shujin's voice was filled with fury, the deep voice cold. Who would know how worried he was? Wen Zhuhei had been gone for nearly a week, it took so much time before he was able to find some of Qi Wuliao's subordinates and worked to help find this place.
Wen Zhuhei was much thinner now, looking like a beauty who had been kept locked up. His face was thin and even though it didn't make him any less beautiful, Chen Shujin was still worried. He reached forward and with one hand, ripped apart the silver chain that was around his body before breaking the cuffs.
"We will talk once you are healed." Chen Shujin knew that Wen Zhuhei's body was tired and hungry.
Wen Zhuhei merely replied, "Alright." Then, losing control of his body, he finally passed out after a week without being fed and staying awake at all time.
Chen Shujin was not surprised. He caught Wen Zhuhei in his arms, carrying him in his arms in a princess carry. He was so light now... Chen Shujin glanced down at Wen Zhuhei's closed eyes before he finally smiled softly. He had nearly gone crazy when he wasn't able to find Wen Zhuhei even when days passed. Now that he was back in his arms, his worries were finally lifted.
Chen Shujin glanced up at Qi Wuliao, holding Wen Zhuhei in his arm as if the man was light as a feather. Then, he left the room first. He need to make sure that Wen Zhuhei was well and healthy.
Qi Wuliao looked at Su Heliang who had been knocked out, though not ridden of. The man was gone, that was a burden that he didn't need to care about. Then, he glanced up at Li Yinlui who stared back at him. There was the trace of a smile on Qi Wuliao's expression, looking at the familiar face from his past.
Everything between the two of them was doomed, it was the ending that he couldn't change. From the moment he had ended his life as Huang Zaijin, to the moment he woke as Qi Wuliao, his entanglement with Li Yinlui should have been over. Yet, Li Yinlui had held so tightly onto Huang Zaijin that Qi Wuliao had to give some type of information to the vampire.

He was impulsive then, having ended his life not thinking about Li Yinlui. Now, all that remained between them was a broken destiny that couldn't be fixed. Though Qi Wuliao had fought to move on, Li Yinlui still wanted to hold on. But he was no longer Huang Zaijin and he never will be. Though he still loved the vampire the same, Qi Wuliao knew that there was someone else standing by his side who truly deserved him.
Qi Wuliao had already lost his chance when he had killed Huang Zaijin. He smiled softly as he turned away. Since it began with his doings, he should bear the brunt of it all.
Suddenly, a roar came from Li Yinlui, "Huang Zaijin!"
Shu Hezhen, who held him, suddenly froze. His face tightened, growing taunt as he heard this name.
Qi Wuliao closed his eyes before opening them but he did not turn back. He continued walking further and further away.
"Huang Zaijin, how can you be so cruel?! You left me for so long and returned as someone different, how was I suppose to know who you were? All these years, I've been searching for you, and you won't even look at me now that I finally know who you are." As Li Yinlui screamed this, his eyes focused on Qi Wuliao, his arms trashing against Shu Hezhen.
Shu Hezhen looked towards the direction Li Yinlui faced, his heart heavy even as his face remained calm.
Qi Wuliao didn't turn back, even as his heart let out a sound in protest. But his feet refused to move, and so he stood in place. Finally, at long last, he opened his mouth up to say, "Yinlui, so much time has passed between us. Everything that has been done cannot just disappear. We... have already changed too much. You have someone by your side who deserves you, not someone like me who had killed himself to escape you. I know that you think of everything as your fault, but move on. Don't burden you heart anymore." He could feel his eyes twinging in pain, but there was a smile on his lips.
"How do I move on when you have imprinted yourself in my heart? You gave me the best years of my life and you want me to just move on like nothing had happened... How do I do that?" Li Yinlui did not cry, but there was a strong expression of regret on his face.
Qi Wuliao's hands tightened. "It was my fault, and I will carry my deeds. But you are innocent. What I did caused you to become like this, so I beg you, please let go of me. There is someone by your side who deserves you, someone who will not be foolish like I was."
Shu Hezhen's hands tightened as he heard this. There was a twinge of pain in his heart, yet he was also relieved.
Li Yinlui opened his mouth but Qi Wuliao was ahead of him.
"Yinlui, you know well that you love him too. Don't hide it. What you feel for me is merely regret but you have already learned to love someone else. That is not a bad thing, so I hope that you will be able to move on without the heavy burden in your heart. I will continue to watch over you as I fulfill my duties. Yinlui, I don't blame you for lying to me back then, so please don't blame yourself." Qi Wuliao turned back to Li Yinlui, a smile on his lips that made him look similar to Huang Zaijin.
Li Yinlui bowed his head down before he looked back up to see Qi Wuliao's smile. He smiled in turn before he finally let go of everything in his heart.
Shu Hezhen held Li Yinlui as Qi Wuliao walked away. He held the man in his arms, not knowing how he felt at the moment. It seemed that everything had now come to an end...
Chen Shujin sat on the bed as he looked at Wen Zhuhei's face. The boy looked so pale and thin, he would have to fatten him up once he wakes. His hand gently rubbed his face. The only thing that kept him sane during this time was knowing that Wen Zhuhei was still alive. If the man had faced an accident, Chen Shujin would've been alerted and gotten news of it. Then, he would've been forced out of this world for failing his mission and having to face a separate mission.
Now, they had already come back to their home. As soon as they entered the vampire city, Chen Xueyi was already waiting for them. Bai Zhensu has already prepared everything and even Qi Wuliao had gotten things ready to reveal to the world about the end to this long lasting war. According to Wen Zhuhei's wishes, everything will be coming to an end.
Su Heliang had disappeared. No one knew if he was alive or dead, but Chen Shujin was sure that Qi Wuliao had done something.
Chen Shujin didn't care, his only purpose was Wen Zhuhei, he didn't care about what would happen to Su Heliang or anyone else. That's who he was, he was not some sort of saint that tried to save everyone.
Just then, Wen Zhuhei let out a small sound as his eyes slowly blinked open. As he slowly tried to get use to the lighting, he was able to see a familiar figure sitting by him and even touching his face. Knowing who it was, he leaned into the hand.
"You're awake now," Chen Shujin's voice sounded a bit husky as his eyes softened a bit while looking at Wen Zhuhei open his eyes wide.
"Shujin, I'm sorry." The first thing Wen Zhuhei did was apologize for everything. His eyes softened a bit as he leaned into Chen Shujin's hand, now realizing that behind those cold eyes laid en evident warmth within them when they looked at him.
"As long as you know your faults, then that should be enough." Chen Shujin watched as Wen Zhuhei slowly smiled.
"Shujin, you already knew since long ago, didn't you?" Wen Zhuhei was able to see that Chen Shujin remained calm despite everything and he could even see that Chen Shujin was indulging him.
[Male lead's love percentage is at 99%.]
Chen Shujin's hand lingered on Wen Zhuhei's face. "I've always known, even during the moments you thought I didn't."
Upon hearing this, Wen Zhuhei suddenly blushed, remembering all the things Chen Shujin had done to him under his 'control'.
Chen Shujin cocked a smile, "Even those moments, I was conscious. When you fed me the drug, I already knew that something was wrong so I merely pretended to take a sip. You were too nervous to pay attention to the cup that never got emptier." He leaned down towards Wen Zhuhei's face and lightly kissed his forehead.
"Wen Zhuhei, I've always known about your feelings. But, I wanted to see when you would be able to face it and tell me. But, I wasn't prepared for this stunt that you pulled, especially with Li Yinlui." Chen Shujin backed away as Wen Zhuhei froze in a blush.
Then, regaining himself, Wen Zhuhei tightened his lips as he asked, "You were fooling me then?"
Chen Shujin laughed at this, his eyes lighting up and Wen Zhuhei also lightly smiled. "I guess you could say that. Although, it was more like I was waiting for you to realize what I'd been doing." Then, winking, he added, "I enjoyed those moments you foolishly ordered me around."
Wen Zhuhei let out a noise of embarrassment, his hands coming up to block his face. "No, don't talk about that. I feel so embarrassed."
Chen Shujin chuckled at Wen Zhuhei's display. He loved this man too much, he couldn't even imagine a life without him now. Even as the past came into play, Chen Shujin still thought of everything as such. There were so many things he wanted to fix, things that he couldn't in the end. Until he had to return, he wanted to give the love that he wasn't able to to this man.
Wen Zhuhei peeked out from his hand as he slowly put them down, there was a smile on his face that brightened his features. "Shujin, I love you. For a long time now, you became my light in this dark world. When I was left behind by my parents, you saved me from everything. You gave me love, you gave me everything I had thought I would never have. But, because you did those things, it made me fear that you wouldn't approve of my intentions so I got too scared to reveal everything. I spent my time away from you slowly processing my feelings before I came to the ending that you were someone I loved."
Wen Zhuhei reached for Chen Shujin's hand, holding it tightly with a soft smile on his face. "I was foolish and scared to confront you. Even though my feelings for you grew and grew, I was too scared that I would risk losing you so I did everything to hide my feelings. When you gave me the artifact, I had realized what I could do with it. I wanted to protect you so I got rid of everything that would block your path. And then, I used the artifact against you. I broke down at the thought that you were pushing me away and used it against you."
Wen Zhuhei could see how Chen Shujin's expression held a softness to it, something that he had never seen before. How had he not realized it? "I've been hiding this for so long and I truly do blame myself for the mess that I've caused. Even thinking about how I had almost injured you makes me ashamed of myself. Chen Shujin, I love you, I really do."
Chen Shujin watched Wen Zhuhei's beautiful smile, the way his eyes lighted up with warmth in them. What to do? He simply loved the man too much...
"I know, thank you for telling me everything." Chen Shujin replied as he saw Wen Zhuhei's face look up into his eyes.
Then, he reached for something in his pocket as Wen Zhuhei looked in confusion. "Here, I had given it to you before but this time, you must never use it against me." Chen Shujin smirked as he then grabbed Wen Zhuhei's hand and slipped the familiar black ring onto his finger.
Wen Zhuhei chuckled lightly, "Can I treat this as you telling me that you love me too?"
Chen Shujin leaned down, his forehead touching Wen Zhuhei's as they looked at one another, eyes burning bright. "Yes, I do love you. Now, you really can't hide away from me anymore."
Then, he gently touched his lips against Wen Zhuhei, a gentle kiss filled with love nonetheless. Wen Zhuhei leaned into the kiss, there was still a small smile on his lips as he gently sucked Chen Shujin's lips.
Chen Shujin also smirked against Wen Zhuhei as he nibbled Wen Zhuhei's lips in turn.
[Male lead's love percentage has hit 100%. This is an automatic message as I have not returned back yet, Host. Please, do heed in mind that the next world will be the toughest yet. But, congratulations on everything, Host. I will await our meeting.]
Chen Shujin smiled softly as he leaned onto the bed, pushing Wen Zhuhei down with him, not breaking the kiss.
He loved him, he will always love him.
Till even time ends, he promised to always love this man who had become his world...

"In this life or the next, in this world or the next, even if I no longer remember, I will meet him once more. Even if I cannot be with him, even if I can't defy my fate, so long as I meet him then I will be at peace with that. I want to protect him, I want him to know that I will never betray him. My love for him doesn't need to be known if it hurts him in turn. I am willing to suffer for this love of mine. For him, I am willing to step through the abyss. So long as his heart remains at peace, I am willing to let mine be broken into pieces."
