Chen Shujin closed his eyes as he leaned against the wall. He knew that in a way, what he had done was going to hurt Wen Zhuhei but, the boy needed to grow first. It wasn't hard to tell that Wen Zhuhei's feelings were also growing out of control, but he was just a child.

With the situation going on too, it would be better to send him away so that Chen Shujin knew that Wen Zhuhei would be safe. He needed Wen Zhuhei to grow strong, strong enough so that any other vampires will yield to him without another word. Until Wen Zhuhei was strong enough, Chen Shujin was not going to meet him.

Chen Shujin was going to work on destroying the human government, as there wasn't much he had to do before everything ended for the humans. Humans were easily tricked, that was why they fought with one another so much. As long as you make one side seem bad, everyone will side with you.

Chen Shujin moved as he walked into his room. He could hear the sound of Wen Zhuhei packing his clothes from the other side but he didn't do anything else.

Wen Zhuhei packed his clothes rather slowly. This was really it, it would be another five or more years before he could return.

A knock came from the door. "Young Master?"

Wen Zhuhei knew who it was right away. "Come in, Hongxue."

Hearing this, Lu Hongxue opened up the door. "Have you already finished packing everything, Young Master?"

She stood to the side as she watched Wen Zhuhei turn to her and nod.

"Yes, we can leave now." Wen Zhuhei showed a light smile as he said this, even though there was a flicker of emotion running through his eyes.

Lu Hongxue monitored Wen Zhuhei closely before she asked, "Do you want to meet His Majesty first?" Her eyes narrowed but she didn't say anything else.

Wen Zhuhei stiffened at that, his hand holding his suitcase got tighter and his smile staggered a bit. But he merely shook his head. "No, this should be good." If he really did see Chen Shujin, he might not want to leave. And he needed to get strong.

"Alright then. Lord Xueyi has gotten everything ready. I will be there as your guard as designated by His Majesty." As Lu Hongxue said this, she handed a few things to Wen Zhuhei.

"What is this?' Wen Zhuhei asked he grabbed it.

"His Majesty had already got a phone for you and was just waiting to give it to you. Now that you are leaving for the academy, he ordered me to give it to you. His phone number is already in the phone so if you ever need something, you can just call him. There is also a badge in the bag, the badge is to show your status and who you are. His Majesty is the only other one who possesses the same badge as you." Lu Hongxue explained as she moved to grab Wen Zhuhei's suitcase.

Wen Zhuhei took out the phone, unlocking it as he checked his numbers. The first and only one on there was Chen Shujin's, he showed a rare smile as his eyes lighted up. Then, opening the bag, he took out a gold badge with a phoenix in vermilion. It was small, but it shone brightly. He clicked it onto the school uniform he now wore.

"Hongxue, please lead the way." Although Wen Zhuhei was still a bit worried about leaving, he was more relieved now. He can return so long as he had power and would be able to help Chen Shujin.

Chen Shujin watched as he saw Wen Zhuhei entered the limo and Lu Hongxue put some things in the truck. He smirked as he saw this. Well, he was sure that Wen Zhuhei would return soon. Five years was very quick for a vampire, especially someone like him who had lived for over 5,000 years.

As soon as Chen Shujin was sure that Wen Zhuhei was gone, he called for Chen Xueyi.

"I want to meet the president."

Chen Xueyi looked at Chen Shujin. "Today?"

Chen Shujin nodded his head. "I heard that the new president is seemingly more open towards the vampires. If he agrees to secretly help us, I can secure his position."

Chen Xueyi showed a grin as he shook his head. "Of course, you would be the one to think about something like that. It seems that you've been getting caught up about everything you've missed."

"I think his name was Bai Zhensu, and if I'm correct, he should be related to a vampire I once knew." Chen Shujin smirked as he said this. "We can just sneak in, his house is quite close to here."

Chen Xueyi shook his head as Chen Shujin said this. But he didn't say a word to try and change the plan because that way would be the quickest.

In that evening, Chen Shujin walked around the foreign office as Chen Xueyi looked at him.

"He must be under a lot of stress lately, all the forums are filled about the vampires uprising. I bet those old people in the government are giving him a headache." Chen Shujin scoffed as he sat down on the chair and messed around with the things in the room.

"The humans always work like that, don't they? Even before your slumber, the system had already become corrupted." Chen Xueyi added as he watched Chen Shujin flipped through a newspaper on the desk.

Just then, Chen Shujin paused in his action as his eyes turned towards the door, a sneer on his face.

"Looks like he should be here now," Chen Shujin added, his voice a bit lower and huskier than normal.

Chen Xueyi raised a brow but didn't say anything. Chen Shujin had always done things this way, picking the quickest route even if it seemed rather strange. But, once Chen Shujin really got onto something, he became serious. Since he had just returned, it was normal for him to relax a bit before he got serious.

Bai Zhensu stepped into his house, tugging his suit as he put down his briefcase. He looked around, feeling that something seemed strange but he couldn't say what it was.

Just then, he heard a noise coming from his office. He wrinkled his brow as he slowly walked towards the door and he opened it.

Staring back at him, Chen Shujin sneered, "Welcome, President Bai. Let's have a chat, shall we?"

Bai Zhensu sat in a chair opposite of Chen Shujin as Chen Xueyi stood next to Chen Shujin's side.

"The First Lord of the vampires, Your Majesty. For what reason have you stepped into my home?" Though seemingly trapped by two powerful vampires that could kill him, Bai Zhensu kept his calm as he stared at them.

Chen Shujin had a sneer on his lips that showed his fangs as he leaned towards Bai Zhensu and in a rather threatening tone, he emphasized, "President, do you know what kind of headache you've sent me within a mere week of my return? Left and right, I'm getting threats from you puny humans and idiotic vampire hunters. My work has been stacking up especially after the war 500 years ago."

Bai Zhensu stared calmly at the face of Chen Shujin's chilly tone as he replied, "Your Majesty, if I may say so, your return is certainly a threat for us. It is only normal of us to try and put up cautions before another war breaks out." His eyes were calm and serene, not a sign of fear in them, staring straight into Chen Shujin's glowing gold eyes.

Chen Shujin scoffed as he leaned back into his chair, "A war? If my memory does not fail me, it was you humans that had waged war against us vampires. We were merely returning the favor that you had sent to us. In fact, I showed mercy by not wiping all of you off the face of this planet." Chen Shujin's eyes narrowed as a flicker of anger showed in them.

Chen Xueyi watched as Chen Shujin beckoned him over. He knew what it was he had to do.

"President, His Majesty has come with a deal for you and only you. Please look over it." Chen Xueyi stated as he handed a yellow folder to Bai Zhensu.

Bai Zhensu accepted the folder without hesitation, opening it to look over the papers and files within. His fingers suddenly stopped as his eyes narrowed in on a picture of a man and a woman holding a small child's hand.

Without any word being exchanged, his fingers froze on the picture as he looked over it. Having read through everything, Bai Zhensu understood what Chen Shujin was trying to make him do.

For a man who could battle against all the schemes in the government, today was the first day that he couldn't say anything. His fingers gently traced the woman's face as a somber light entered his eyes.

Bai Zhensu finally lifted his face as he muttered, "How did you get this picture?"

No one should know about his past, about the President of Achin, at least not the truth. Today was the first day that Bai Zhensu had met someone who knew about his past, someone who was able to dig up information on him when thousands have failed.

Chen Shujin, knowing that he had now caught Bai Zhensu, he disclosed a piece of information that Bai Zhensu had never known. "Because the both of them are still here."

Bai Zhensu's eyes widened. Gone was his calm, inside him, a joy lit within him.

The child was him, the woman was his mother and the man was his father. Twenty years ago, his mother had been accused of betraying the government to one of Achin's rival, AUS, and became a spy for that country. As a result of this, his mother was taken away by the government and was pronounced as a traitor and killed. Not longer after his mother was said to be dead, his father went missing and was never found again.

Now 25, Bai Zhensu had become the president of this country after hiding his past and fooling everyone. Yet, throughout all of this, he had always been searching for these two people even with the large possibility that they were dead. Now that he was given this chance to meet them once more, he could care less about a country corrupted and nearly destroyed by its own people,

"I'll do it, I'll do whatever you want me to. Just let me meet them, that's all I ask for." Bai Zhensu clenched the picture in his hand as he looked up to see the smile on Chen Shujin's face.

Chen Shujin had known well who Bai Zhensu was, after all, his parents were Lu Hongxue's soldiers that she trained and also part of his clan. And Chen Shujin knew that Bai Zhensu didn't care for the nation. Though he did the basics to make sure Achin didn't fall, his real purpose was to use the power in secret to find his parents. Now given this chance, Bai Zhensu wouldn't hesitate to toss away Achin.

"Follow everything as stated, President Bai. Once I know for sure that you've done everything then I will invite you formally to see your parents. I've already scattered some people to mix in, those working with you are vampires. If I find out that you dare let out any information about this, then I won't be able to guarantee the safety of these two people for you." Chen Shujin deliberately lowered his voice at the end of his sentence.

Bai Zhensu clenched his hand tightly as he replied back, "You will never hear such news, I will make sure to do as everything stated."

Chen Shujin relaxed his demeanor as he let go of his intense aura. "Bai Zhensu, you have only been in power for two years. I have already ruled over the vampires for nearly 5,000 years now. Compared to you and even all the other presidents before you, no one will be able to compare to me. I was there when the world wasn't ruled by technology, when there was only animals roaming. Unless I truly vanish, the humans will never be able to fight back."

Bai Zhensu didn't say anything, for he knew that in front of Chen Shujin, he was a mere child. Though this vampire could look so young, he was a vampire nonetheless. Upon reaching the right age, their appearance will cease to change. This vampire had been alive for 5,000 years, he was older than the existence of humans.

Chen Xueyi looked at Chen Shujin. It was rare that his brother would say such kind words to a human, especially the president of Achin. This must be a sign that his brother approved of Bai Zhensu, or he was just hoping to kill all the old officials in the government.

"I will take my leave, President. I will await the hearing of good news." Saying this, Chen Shujin stood up from the chair while Bai Zhensu merely watched without another word.

Chen Xueyi followed Chen Shujin, but turned back to give a word of advice, "President, make sure that you don't act suspicious upon the accusation of the government officials."

As soon as the door closed, Bai Zhensu leaned against his chair without any strength. Holding the picture in his hand, he covered up his red eyes with it, his pale face glossed with relief. Finally. It didn't matter what he would have to give up so long as he could see his mother and father again.

He would be willing to give up his own life so long as he was given the chance to see his mother and father again after all these years.
