《Steal The Male Lead》5.5

*AN: Before we start, I'm going to ask a quick question. Which character do you sympathize with the most/feel bad for?*
Narisa Zeno couldn't help but smile, a rather chilling smile as he smashed Yoku Shida's head into the ground the moment they began.
Yoku Shida was left unable to do anything. He wasn't able to do anything before Narisa Zeno flew towards him and knocked him into the ground before any time had passed.
Narisa Zeno smashed Yoku Shida's head a few times before he grabbed onto Yoku Shida's leg and swung his body into the ground. Unfortunately, Yoku Shida caught himself before he smashed his head first into the stage.
"Damn, not even giving me a break. You've improved, you're much more merciless. Last time, you even went easy on me." Yoku Shida said as he held his head, making sure that he wasn't bleeding after what Narisa Zeno had done. When he noticed a small hint of blood, he couldn't help but click his tongue. "C'mon, you really had to hit me hard so that I'm left bleeding. What if I had gotten a concussion?"
Narisa Zeno watched with raised brows. "Shida, are we doing this again?" He watched as Yoku Shida smirked and ran a hand through his dirty blonde hair.
"Ehh, I can't do anything. My mom told me to come and beat you up for ruining her favorite plate. You know how she is, she cherishes those things more than me. If I weren't her son she would've killed me for breaking her precious plates." Yoku Shida couldn't help but make a face as he said this. Then without giving Narisa Zeno any time to take in his words, Yoku Shida sent his leg towards Narisa Zeno's leg.
But Narisa Zeno was strong, the original soul had trained his whole body to the extent of a Superman almost. Even though Yoku Shida sent a kick towards his legs, Narisa Zeno didn't even budge.
Yoku Shida kicked Narisa Zeno but his legs felt like he had just kicked a steel pole. Grimacing, he looked up as he asked, "Did you eat metal for your diet or something? You're hard as steel, it feels like I broke my leg." Saying this, Yoku Shida took back his leg and punched it a few times to get some feeling back to it.
"Tell Aunt that I'm sorry." Narisa Zeno said as he watched Yoku Shida without any worry.
"For breaking the plates? Don't worry, I already told he-"
Before Yoku Shida finished his sentence, he was thrown into the ground once more. This time, he gasped for air as his body slammed so hard onto the stage, there was a slight indent in his place. He groaned.
"Not for that, for this," And with that, Narisa Zeno bent this knees next to Yoku Shida who was gasping for air.

"You son of a...it feels like you threw me into a moving plane. I think my eyesight's blurring. Sh*t, what'd you eat? Last time you didn't beat me up this bad." Yoku Shida gasped out, unable to move from the pain. "I'm going to curse you out to my mom, she's gonna be after your head."
"Aunt isn't going to do that, she loves me more than you." Narisa Zeno merely refuted as he shook his head.
"You really had to say the truth?" Yoku Shida asked as he rolled his eyes. Sticking out a hand to Narisa Zeno, he said, "Help me up. I think you bruised my back for sure. You even slammed my head into the ground. If I wasn't your cousin, I'd think you were really trying to kill me."
Narisa Zeno grabbed his hand and pulled him, even as Yoku Shida grunted and groaned.
"Well, you're taking the stage now. Have fun! Also, there's this guy that's been itching after your head for a while now, I was able to keep him quiet for a bit but just be careful. He's a psychopath in a way. Once he goes for an opponent, he uses every way he could find to either defeat that person or even kill them. He's had some criminal records but since his family is said to be very influential and has close ties with the government, he's been let off." Yoku Shida clapped Narisa Zeno on the back before he waddled away, his steps slow and limping a bit because of his back.
Narisa Zeno watched as Yoku Shida walked away, and he tried to think about every detail he knew about the plot. There wasn't something about a person like what Yoku Shida had said, that could only mean that the plot had derived too far from the original story. If anything, it was turning even more dangerous.
As Narisa Zeno lifted his head he noticed that it was too quiet. Scanning the crowd, he was able to tell that they were tense. Finally, he turned to Narisa Fuchikawa. "How much time has passed?"
Narisa Fuchikawa smiled as he looked at his phone. "3 minutes 49 seconds. If no one comes up, you'll be the winner then." Saying this, he even added a smile, knowing that Narisa Zeno would be ticked off.
Narisa Zeno looked at him and turned his eyes, barely able to stop himself from rolling his eyes. Then, as he began walking off he said in a voice loud enough to be heard from the crowd, "Akita, take the stage." And then he walked off, not even bothering to look back as he watched Serb Akita got up automatically.
Seru Akita walked past Narisa Zeno, bumping his shoulders as he said, "Wow, someone who doesn't want any fame. Guess I'll be taking this spot then." With a joking tone, Seru Akita replaced Narisa Zeno on the stage. He didn't mind it, he knew that Narisa Zeno only came up because his cousin was at it again. He merely stood on stage, whistling as he waited for someone to come up. Unfortunately, after what Narisa Zeno had done, no one wanted to come up anymore.

As Narisa Zeno walked past Seru Akita, he walked towards Narisa Fuchikawa and whispered in a voice loud enough for him to hear. "I need to talk with you, Uncle."
"Right now?" Narisa Fuchikawa asked, cocking his brows as he stared toward Toma Ushifuwa, eyes glinting mysteriously.
Narisa Zeno followed his stare and seeing Toma Ushifuwa, he merely replied, "Right now."
Narisa Fuchikawa sighed before he nodded his head at Toma Ushifuwa and then followed Narisa Zeno as they walked out the stage room. One specific pair of eyes lingered on them for a longer time before it closed as they were finally out of sight.
"Hmm, what did you want to talk about?" Narisa Fuchikawa asked once they were out of sight from everyone else.
Narisa Zeno looked at him, "When did you become the head of Takimura Academy?"
Narisa Fuchikawa's eyes widened a bit before he exclaimed, "Oh, that! After you decided that you wanted to come to this school, your father sent me here. I mean, I don't know why he's so worried but since you're the sole heir, he probably doesn't want you to get hurt."
Hearing the answer, Narisa Zeno's head began turning. "Is my father alright?"
Narisa Fuchikawa grunted, rolling his eyes as he replied, "That man can beat people up with his eyes closed. Even though there's been some new cases popping up here and there, we've been able to get the police to keep their mouth shut. You know how it is, the same old blackmailing and threatening to cut each other's necks off but not really."
"I see. Does my father need me back for anything?" Narisa Zeno asked as he nodded his head. At this point, he was just asking random questions to see if Tendou Yagami was going to come anytime soon.
Narisa Fuchikawa thought for a second with that question. "I would say no. If you come back now, the whole clan will have to reschedule the things we have planned. Just make sure to attend school and not flop. Also, make sure that your apartment is safe, we've been getting a lot of warnings about thief's and robbers. And that new kid that joined, Tsukki Ren, keep an eye on him. I have a feeling that he will stir up some problems sooner or later."
"I know, I'm just hoping that none of the gangs initiate the problems."
"Alright then, I'll be going back in first. It's up to you if you want to leave, I reckon that by now, Akita has probably secure the spot anyway. I'll tell my brother that you've been well." Narisa Fuchikawa ended as he clapped Narisa Zeno's back and began walking back in, hands in his pockets.
Narisa Zeno smiled gently as he turned behind him. "Are you coming out yet?" Although Tendou Yagami had heard a bit of the last part, it wasn't like he was worried. His lover wasn't fully in love with him yet but he wasn't the type of person to blackmail others.
Tendou Yagami walked out from the corner, a lollipop in his mouth as he said, "You already knew whom I was."
Narisa Zeno looked at him curiously. "You smoke?"
Tendou Yagami nodded his head. "Yeah, I've been trying to quit though so this is my other option." With a loud pop, he took the lollipop out of his mouth.
For some reason, Narisa Zeno couldn't help but feel his throat go dry. He kept forgetting that he was only 17 at the moment and that Tendou Yagami was only 16. In this world, they were especially young. He didn't know how to feel about that.
"Uhm," Began Tendou Yagami as he tossed the lollipop into a garbage and awkwardly grasped his neck. "I've given it some thought and I realized that joining you won't necessarily be bad. So, I guess I'm in." His body language was easy to tell that he had never done anything like this and was very much awkward with it.
Narisa Zeno couldn't help but smile brightly, "That's great. Welcome to Lucifer. I won't tell anyone that you've joined other than the members so don't worry about your identity being disclosed. Being in Lucifer doesn't mean anything different. You continue on with your daily life although we do have some meetings here and then."
Tendou Yagami opened his mouth, about to say something else when the loud sound of footsteps were heard. Knowing that the students were let out, he closed his mouth. "I'm going to be skipping classes, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Hmm, alright then." Narisa Zeno replied, watching as Tendou Yagami awkwardly stared at him and turned to walk away. Watching Tendou Yagami leave, he couldn't help the smile on his face. He was at east one step closer now.
As Tendou Yagami walked away as he stuffed his hands into his sweater, still a bit shaken up and confused. It was there again. That weird feeling in his heart.
